Arabica% has been my favorite coffee shop for quite some time now. Everything about it - the coffee, the aesthetics, the people, and the general atmosphere of the place - is just so me. Anyone who knows me personally can attest to this haha!

I had an iced single origin latte with one packet of syrup during my last visit. The flavor of their coffee is simply superb and it was the perfect way to start my morning. You have to experience the place and the coffee for yourself. Trust me, it won't disappoint! 9749128149

See the world through coffee 9749

Kenneth Shoji is the founder of Arabica %

% Arabica is about his love for coffee, design, and seeing the world.

His story begins in Tokyo, Japan. Being raised by parents who were enthusiasts of a universal language called ‘’Esperanto”, we would travel abroad every summer to attend a “World Esperanto Congress” held in different countries. His father was the owner of a manufacturing and trading company, and together with his frequent business trips, they would take me overseas whenever possible – ultimately helping to inspire my love of multiculturalism, design, and architecture.

Through experiencing different cultures, seeing rich and poor people, happy and unhappy people, He started to wonder who he was, and asked himself what kind of life He wanted to live?

Upon graduating from college, He started work for a trading company, which allowed me to travel overseas for business. A lot was learned from working closely with business owners around the world; He gained valuable insights as per their mindset towards work and life. And although most of them were very wealthy, He found that some were happy and others were not. This caused him to keep asking the same two questions:

Who am I?
What kind of life do I want to live?

And his last answer was coffee.

He truly need an amazing cup of coffee every day. This is why He founded % Arabica.

So to create the best coffee possible, He borrowed money and bought a coffee farm in Hawaii. He also started trading green beans from around the world and became the sole-exporter of a Japanese roasting machine along with the distributor of one of the best espresso machines. I then spent one year persuading Junichi Yamaguchi, a world champion of latte art, and someone whom He considered to be their ideal head barista. When he finally agreed, they opened % Arabica in the beautiful historic city of Kyoto in February 2014.

Their mission is to grow % Arabica across unique lands and cultures of the world, so that young baristas can “See the World Through Coffee.”.9749128525128077

Since then Arabica is located in different parts of the country and lucky to have here in the Philippines 🇵🇭. Located at GF W City Center 7th Avenue corner 30th St Bonifacio Global City Taguig .

Went there last July 7 with hubby . I’ve been really wanting to try it long time ago and finally I was able to go there that Saturday afternoon. We got Spanish Iced Latte which is their best seller to and paired it with ham and cheese croissant 🥐 which is so good too 128077

Price is around 160 pesos for short cup and croissant 🥐 is less than 100 pesos very affordable.

Loved the ambience 128525 self served.

I just hope they could add more tables and chairs coz even on second floor it’s always full .

We only live once, so let’s explore the world we live in, set goals, and enjoy our time together over an amazing cup of coffee.974997499749

I am a huge coffee lover so when I learned that Arabica will be opening a branch in Manila, I was beyond ecstatic. So far, my current favorites are the Spanish Latte and Caffe Latte. What I love about these drinks is that, they neither taste sweet nor bitter, but the taste is enough to satisfy your caffeine cravings.

I also loved the ambience of this cafe. I personally think the seats uptairs offer the best spots because you can see everything from above and watch the people around and below you.

I loved this place! I discovered this place when i saw my favorite blogger uploaded her photo from here. It's kinda catchy and minimalist. It looks relaxing and the name of their coffee shop looks very exciting!

First time trying their Coffee and i am really stunned! I know it was newly opened but heck they are blockbuster!

10024 I love how fast the barista made the drink
10024 Even for the food,It didn't took so long for me to wait the food
10024 i love their teamwork while working
10024 Baristas are very energized and friendly

For the coffee, honestly they don't have that much of choices for drinks, just a regular coffee and teas either over iced or hot
but if you're a coffee drinker like me you would love this place!

Sweet drinks isn't their thing honey 10024

i can't wait to be back at here again!

Who would have thought a good tasting or probably the best ice matcha latte in bgc can be found on a place known for their coffee.

Saw the recent post here and it seems matcha drink was the trending drink. So even when the sky is turning really dark on late afternoon, i quickly dash here to grab the ice matcha latte and salted caramel chocolate cookie. Both were fantastic.
- matcha latte had this perfect blend of creamy, bitter matcha taste and sweetness, for me it was the perfect ice matcha latte. Highly recommended. Other shops that serves matcha could learn a thing or 2 from this drink.

- salted caramel chocolate cookie was thick at 120 each it was worth it. Although there are some parts that was really salty, as in literally salty. But nonetheless it was a good one.

Probably see myself ordering this drink starting now.

Finally tried their Matcha Latte! 1285699996🏼 I had it iced cause it was such a hot day. I actually really liked it! Jayson J’s review must have been such an #inflooence (double o for branding hehehe 128569 Ruth D Peanut D Roegan T) for them because I actually found it to have just the right amount of milk. They must have improved their recipe now compared to then. Maybe, just maybe. 128568 The matcha flavor was very pronounced. I liked that the drink was not too sweet, and it really worked as an iced beverage. Really helped with the heat.

We were supposed to go to the Matcha place next door but it was already closed when we went. It was 10PM already. I didn’t regret coming to Arabica though. I really had my eye on this drink for the longest time anyway, I just didn’t have the time to dropby.

I really pray %Arabica will have a mocha on their menu soon too. (Hahaha naghanap ng wala... 1285699996🏼)

Also the upstairs area of the cafe is already open. When I first visited it was still closed. This gave more seats for guests. It was full though on the second floor so I stayed downstairs. This also made me ask to have my drink to go too. I’d still go back. 128568

Came back here to try the Spanish Latte. I was really hyped to try it because everyone seems to like it whether it’s iced or hot. So, I just went for the Hot Spanish Latte to fully enjoy it! Don’t know why but Iced coffee in general, seems to have always lost its full flavor - again, that’s just me!

First thing that came in to mind after having the first sip – it’s sweet but it didn’t totally overpower the coffee, which I like. It’s almost caramel-y which I wouldn’t mind being mixed in my cup of coffee which instantly reminds me of Bo’s Coffee Primo’s Caramel Latte (that I also like too).

So, will I recommend it? Yes. Especially for those who’d prefer their coffee a bit sweeter than usual.

Place easily gets packed in the afternoon, so I was seated on the mezzanine area which is cool.

Tried out their bestseller Iced Spanish Latte. I think there's nothing too unique about it but i liked how it wasn't too sweet.
Pricewise at Php 190/cup, it's more expensive than the usual coffee for its serving size.

Also tried out their white chocolate chip, and i think it's one of the best! I don't really like white chocolate but their cookie is so soft and chewy on the inside and slighty crunchy on the outside. It's also served warm, just perfect.

Ambience is great as the interiors are very simple and has a clean design. Hopefully though they can add more seats to accomodate more guests.

No words can really express how much I love this cafe! It has everything I could possibly ask for: high quality beans, good natural lighting, minimalist interiors, white accents and a logo that appears in every corner of the cafe. 128525

I enjoy staying in cafes with eye-catching interiors, and I love how this one in particular manages to blend concrete walls and wooden furniture in such a clean and elegant fashion.

What I usually get:

127800 Iced Spanish Latte - My fave!! I don't usually like super sweet coffee drinks but this one manages to be sweet without being too cloying. It has hints of this dulce de leche/caramel-type flavor. 128149

127800 Americano - Also very nice! Even if the taste is strong & dark, it's also still very smooth. 9749

I could gush about this place all day but it's better if you go and see it for yourself! Highly recommended 10084

Finally! After xx years, I was able to try Arabica (Yup. I’m such a loser, I know haha!) Thanks to my ever supportive friends Norman Lester T Russel F Cindy S Dennis O Marc M EJ B Elaine O Julie L for being with me through this milestone 128514

I ordered for their best seller ~ Spanish Iced Latte (P190) and I actually love it! I don’t usually get iced coffee but the weather was on fire that day. I must admit, this one is really something bcos it’s not the typical iced coffee drink. Good one!

I appreciate the location and place itself ~ interiors, lighting except that I find the service a bit slow, or maybe bcos it’s Sunday and packed. They can maybe improve this esp on weekends!

Will I go back? Yes of course! Would like to try other coffee menu! 10084

Two foodie friends introduced me to Arabica yesterday.

Seemed like a certified hit in IG what with all friends’ stories using the place and their coffee as muse.

Good thing we had plenty of time to be curious and explore in between foodie meet ups. It did not hurt that Arabica was conveniently or shall I say tantalisingly within reach from our next stop. There was really no excuse not to give Arabica a go.

Their Spanish Latte Single Origin was highly recommended. After just one sip , instant comprehension.

Darn, robust flavor with just the right sweetness. I was instantly enamoured . Dragging the handsome hubby here , stat haha

Thank you EJ B and @boyeatworldph

A very minimalist cafe that serves the one of the best cups of coffee I've tasted. A must try is their Spanish Latte. It's good cold but eveb better hot. It tastes very creamy. It gives out this very cozy vibe. Will definitely try this again.

Finally, Easter & COFFEE after over 40 days! Ahhh..this place with its minimalistic vibe. Everything looks so crisp & fresh. We tried 2 variants - Iced Cafe Latte & Spanish Latte. While I liked the single origin after-taste of the former drink, I preferred the latter more because of its mild & caramel-ly taste. I got so tempted for 2nd’s, but I might have trouble falling asleep in the evening 128517 They only have the Tall size for their iced drinks, but that’s okay for controlled portions 9786

My second time trying Arabica’s Matcha Latte. First one was just last Saturday while waiting for a friend. I got the iced version and I LOVED IT. It’s legit. It’s not sweet, and for me it has the right balance of milk and matcha powder for a latte.

Definitely recommending this to all matcha lovers. In fact, I did hype it to Cindy S. 128154 And that’s the reason I visited it again earlier today.

This time, Cindy tried the hot version and she loved it too! It has this nice matcha kick without being too sweet.

I had the usual Spanish Latte Single Origin and it’s so good as usual. I ordered two more for take out as pasalubong to my teammates. 🙂

Huhu. Why didn’t i like their matcha. I think i would go for starbucks? I tried their hot version c/o Cindy S and it was too milky for me. I had their over iced and it was way too milky, because the matcha powder did not dissolve well.

I would reco their latte. Way better.

Things to buy instead of this PhP180 drink
1. Toastbox thick floss toast set
2. Starbucks greentea latte venti
3. Serenitea overloaded with sinkers
