Homemade Japanese! I want more of these kinds of restaurants, not the usual super commercial kind that's all over the city. Ramen was plain but 'heartfelt', if you know what I mean. I don't mind coming back here to try their specialty - Hamburg! There were a lot of Japanese customers when we visited, so I think it passes their standards.

I pass by this place twice a day everyday for more than a year now and I'm glad that I've finally tried it.

This place is quite unnoticeable because of how small it is and that it's at the back corner of the building. Has anyone else spotted this place?

Arafu Cafe is a Japanese home style restaurant. And it really felt like you were in someone's home!

You walk in and there's their kitchen. Right in front of you. Their dining area is upstairs. So you'll go up a long spiral ladder to get there. There's enough space for maybe 10-15 people only. We were the only customers at the time.

I ordered their Karaage Tonkotsu Ramen. It wasn't the best ramen out there to be honest. But at around P200 is worth it. They also have burger steak meals. I had this thought on how burgers got connected to the Japanese culture. Does anyone know?

What I really liked about this place is that it's the perfect place to have a nice peaceful dinner after a stressful day at work. Or maybe a perfect place to take someone on a date. 128077
