I loved everything that we ordered except the carbonara that tasted really bland. I find the food quite pricey though considering its serving size & quality. I've had better and cheaper in the metro 128540 Service was just okay.

Nonetheless, Aria remains to be one of the reliable and good resto choices in Boracay 128522128156

At forefront of D'mall there stand Aria Cucina. A Boracay staple. Been in the food hitlist of every tourist since 2003. Every time I visit Boracay Aria would be one of the place I usually visit. Aria was also one of the few Boracay original that tried to venture in Metro Manila. Not sure if the BGC branch that they have if it still do operate.
So we had our lunch here since some of the member of the group was already craving for some good pizza. Quattro Staggioni was choice of pizza. Serving size was only 12 inches quite small for the price. But again were in Boracay and everything is more expensive. Among the Quattro flavors, Frutti Di Mare was my favorite. Love the seafood toppings. We also got some pasta that aren't tomato based because of my friend. The Aglio Olio is one of the simplest pasta recipe but it was just simply delicious. Love the spiciness of this pasta. Carbonara was also good very creamy. What standout about Aria's pasta is they are cooked very well Al Dente!

Overall Aria will always be a must drop by place when in Boracay. Consistent and very good service!

Tried their carbonara and it was just ok. I think it lacked cheese and black pepper.

Aria for me may be one of the best restaurants around boracay.
Aria is an italian ristorante. They're servings never fail to be small.. This means two could actually share an order. This we did not expect. I was eying for their gnocci but then it was sold out. They have risotto too but to think it may be more of an appetizer rather than an entree.
We ordered quatro stagioni for our pizza.
Quatro stagioni is an eight sliced pizza with four flavors. I liked the one with the anchovies and cured ham.

Thin crust.

Two of my friends ordered pasta marinara. Red sauced and shrimp. It was a bit sour. The pasta was really aldente. Serving looks small but if you really dig in it...

Another friend got curious with panzoretto scamorza. It's a stuffed bread... So when it was served, we thought it was like a big empanada. When i started to open it for a picture. It was just air.... But hey, it has some really good stuff inside... It tasted like hawaiian pizza without pineapples. Well, i thought it would not satiate my fremd's hunger. But it did. Good thing she's a girl and we still got to taste of her order ^^

Then after a long 'out of stock' or 'too pricey' decision making, i ended up with pasce al cartoccio. Pesce, italian for fish! They use tanigue fish. All meaty! I chose rice over mashed potato or salad (greens) as my side.
I could sing of delight! Lol. Rosemary herb Does make the dish really appetizing. Garlic goes well with the arugula tastes healthy with the fish seared with olive oil.
The rice was fluffy and tastes cute (yeah, like eating in a wonderland)

Only thing with my order is it lacks saltiness. So i asked the accomodating server to hand me salt... Which makes my dish perfect... And a little less healthy.. :)
If you're going to boracay, do not miss this!

I've been warned by teta about this place but we want to try it ourselves hehehe 9996

Place: 110881108811088
It was a bit small but it has nice, classy interior and got a wonderful view of the beach.

Food:
Quattro stagioni P540 110881108811088
This is good for 4-5 person.. 12' pizza that has four flavors - aria, boscaiola, napoli, and frutti di mare. Their pizza was a bit salty for me though. And the crust was a bit burnt 128531

Carbonara P360 1108811088
Typical pasta in cream sauce with parmesan cheese and crispy bacon bits..but this one was really really bland...lacks flavor and taste. 128078

Gnocchi alla sorrentina P480 11088110881108811088
Potato dumplings in a caper-basil tomato salsa topped with mozzarella & gratinated in a wood-fire oven. We had a hard time figuring this one out haha because the texture was so soft that we didn't believe the waitress when she told us that is was potato. The texture was like that of a bread but it was delicious. 128077 Well of you want to try something different then I recommend this dish.

Service: 11088110881108811088
Accommodating and nice crews :)

I used to really like aria. It's still good but the quality should be checked regularly.
You can never go wrong with their pizzas though!

When on Boracay, always want to tighten my budget for more booze and water activities. Well if you have a friend like my La CBF-- it's really hard to control money. 128557

He forced us to try Aria. ugh. I find it expensive. Servings not that big. Taste was okay.

I'd rather have a go on a bucket of beer. lol, anway, for the hell of trying it. fine.

It's great to try some fancy italian dishes but you gotta pay for it and pay for it BIG TIME!

I think their dishes are great, good and all but it's just expensive. I mean,I can also eat that kind of italian food but not for that price ugh. i even forgot the names of the dishes! HAHA

We tried their pizza, white pasta dishes - the one with the potato and cheese sauce and the other the white creamy sauce - i like the latter, better.

We also tried their fried mozzarella sticks and nope it's not that good.

All in all we were charged 2,800+ huhu so much for good italian food 128557

Also, the servers are not that attentive,we even have to call their attention just to give us tbe menu 128546

Yes, I ate pizza and pasta in the middle of the beach. Seems untimely to eat pizza but if it's this good, I really don't care anymore.

We ordered Pizza al Metro, Aria's own version of pizza with 3 flavors: Frutti di Mare, Gorgonzola and Capricciosa. For the pasta, we chose Marinara as the waiter said it's their best seller. Then we added Rotolino Marchigiano, pizza rolls stuffed with veggies, meat and cheese and Carpaccio di salmon e capperi, which seemed more like Salmon Tartar of Cru Steakhouse to me. Since I am a potato lover, I always make sure that I get to taste every resto's potato sidings, in this case, I tried wedges.

Knowing my palate is especially attracted to delectable pizza flavors, one slice gets me craving for another. Their potatoes are superb that even my boyfriend who is not fond of potatoes, complimented the way those goodies were seasoned.

Overall, it was a nice dining experience in Aria. I must admit I heard some negative reactions regarding eating pizza in Boracay, knowing that beach life is best experienced with seafood delicacies. But now, I was brought to light and will definitely try the bestsellers when I come back to Boracay. 128077

Lobster! Gingerbread cookies! Brown bread! Barbecue! Yummy right? Picture those foods in your head very carefully. Okay? Good, because you now have a very good picture of what me and my friends looked like after swimming in and walking along the beach the whole day w/o sunblock 128528 Word of advice? Never forget sunblock. Ever. Lest you suffer the horrible fate of looking like

Aria is an Italian restaurant located at the opening of Dmall. If you can't find the sign, just look for the restaurant up front that's always jam packed because for my entire stay in Bora, there was not one night Aria wasn't full for dinner.

We decided to have dinner here on our first night because we heard good reviews about the place. When we got there, it took awhile for someone to attend to us, which was excusable because it was a full house. The service was just okay, pretty inconsistent. Some servers were quite attentive to our needs while there were some times that you needed to repeatedly wave your hands in the air like you just don't care to get their attention 128588. We were warned that food would be served w/in 15 to 20 minutes so it was okay that it took awhile for the food to come out.

I can't remember the names if what we ate much because I was too busy talking to my friends, and they were the ones who ordered. What I can say, though, is that for a place that was really hyped up, nothing really stood out for me. Don't get me wrong , the food was good, but with the attention it was receiving, I expected it to blow me away, which unfortunately it did not.

The Aglio Olio and the White Vongolle we ordered tasted like something I could easily whip up at home. They both actually became a bit bland for me to the point that I couldn't distinguish which of the two pastas I was eating 128513. The pizza was a better choice. We got their Quatri Formaggi Pizza, which consisted of four flavors, their sea food pizza, anchovie pizza, meat lovers pizza, and one more whose name I can't remember 128541. Each of the pizzas was quite flavorful in their own ways. The crust was crunchy and thin with the taste and texture of an authentic brickfire cooked pizza. They were also pretty generous with the topping for each flavor, which was a plus for me 128077. Dishes are pretty pricey though for its size. We had to order two pastas and two pizzas just so that our group would be satisfied (nagdessert pa after 128514).

Overall, Aria is a place worth trying once, but not some place you'd repeatedly go back to during your stay. I guess its one of those "not that bad but not that good either" kind of experience for me. 128523
