Very late night hunger on a weekend, while the kids were out for gramps overnight, had hubby and I searching for a place to satisfy our rumbling tummies. Good thing Better Living has started to provide 24/7 options for night owls. We spotted Army Navy and went right in.

We would usually order burrito and burger but during this visit, we wanted nothing but RICE! I got their Adobo Flakes Meal while hubby opted for the Longga Meal, both served with garlic rice and egg.

The Adobo Flakes had generous serving of pulled pork that was tasty and had a strong garlic taste. Their vinegar was a good compliment and made the adobo taste even better.

Hubby's former boss told him that they supply the lonnga of Army Navy so he was so curious to try. Fortunately, their lonnga was good! Salty, garlicky and flavorful, it was a perfect match with the garlic rice.

I was also seriously craving for some churros that night so I blindly gave Army Navy's Churros a try. I opted for their chocolate dip instead of caramel. Honestly, you can skip their churros LOL they were just okay - crunchy, greasy and the chocolate dip was meh.

Anyhow, Army Navy's LiberTea is still top notch and oh their Freedom Fries too! I love mine with generous drizzle of mayo, which you can request for free, and ketchup!

We celebrated our Valentine's Day brunch here.. I had their bacon breakfast with 22oz brewed iced tea, my mom had a veggie burrito, my brother had their classic burger, cheesy fries with bacon and jalapeños.

Their breakfast is good, had to figure out the deep fried longganisa looking on the side. My mom's critic about the burrito is that the veggies supposed to be a little crunchy not soggy. Their fries is over priced and under-bacon as per my brother..

Total price P700++

Late post

Bacon breakfast was great! Crunchy and salty, may daughter loved it. I had their tinapang bangus, and it was just ok. Crispy garlic bits on rice was delish! Serving was just right for the price. I wish it came with complementary coffee, though..

FREEDOM!!!!

Before my BIG DAY, I didn't pass the chance to drop by Army Navy. I just got to have some comfort food before fasting.

I have been wanting to try their Freedom Toast a la mode but I haven't really had the chance since I don't go out often and I rely on take out food most of the time. So today was my chance.

Freedom Toast a la Mode with Blueberry - gosh it was good! The serving was small though but the toast was crunchy on the outside but definitely soft inside. It had generous blueberry topping (canned blueberry with thick sauce) and an equally generous scoop of vanilla ice cream. Grabe winner!

Then I also got their Freedom Fries and topped it off with loads of ketchup and mayo. And of course, Libertea for my drink!

Burp! Great afternoon snack indeed 128541128541128541

The burger is a man's meal. But what I love about Army Navy is their chicken and tea. Fries are good too. Different from the usual Mcdo or Jollibee fries.
