I always anticipate Taco Tuesdays at Army Navy because who does not want free iced tea with their tacos right? Honestly, I am not very much a fan of their soft tacos but for Taco Tuesdays, I made an exception. I ordered their Chicken Soft Tacos and a side of their fries with bacon bits. I love the cheesy fries with bacon bits on top especially since I have been having Freedom fries for quite a while. (Para maiba naman ang lasa). As for the soft tacos, it was good. I was surprised that I enjoyed it more now because it is light yet filling. Before, I really steer away from this order but it was actually pretty good and fresh. It is best to squeeze the lime, add a bit of salsa and sauce to the mix. Take a bite and just enjoy the goodness. As always, their Libertea Iced Tea never fails. Just add a bit so that you can upgrade your free Iced Tea to a Large size instead of a Regular.

As usual, service was good! I actually dined by myself and it wasn’t a problem. The crew was nice and you get to enjoy the food without anyone bothering you. This particular branch is small but otherwise great for quick eats. I always frequent this branch because it is near my office and it is open 24/7 except when they have they monthly meetings (where they would close the shop for a short period of time).

Okay, you might be wondering, what the heck is the photo above? Well, it is actually my Steak Breakfast Burrito at first bite. Bear with me as I tell you my breakfast story.

Here goes:

I was getting tired of the breakfast meals so I decided to try their breakfast burritos. I was not a fan of their regular burritos but I thought maybe the breakfast burrito would be better. I ordered the Steak Breakfast Burrito and of course a large cup of Libertea Iced Tea. I have high hopes for this burrito and sadly it was not what I expected it to be. Yes, there were generous serving of steak and hash brown. Scrambled eggs are also inside the wrapped flour tortilla. It just was not my taste. I think I only finished the steak and hash brown but did not finish the whole meal.

I was sad that I did not have a good breakfast but at the same time, I learned that trying out new things or in this case, new items on the menu are not always bad. It would be a hit or a miss but you would not get to discover the other delicious things if you would not take the leap.

If you have not guessed it yet, I have a soft spot for Army Navy. There was a phase where every day, I would get up extra early and get ready for work so that I can pass by Army Navy to have my breakfast. I think I have tried everything on their breakfast menu, almost everything. For this day, I tried their Hungarian Sausage meal. This one takes a long time to get cooked. I literally waited 15-20 minutes for this to be served. Well, it was worth the wait. The sausage tastes great with a spicy tinge to it. A bit of ketchup as condiment can add variety to its taste. Best enjoyed with a sunny side up egg / “malasado”.

As usual, service is quick as it can be. A very friendly branch. It is actually self-service but when there are not a lot of people dining, they will deliver the food straight to your table.

Tip: You can ask them to slice the sausage to pieces if you want. 128513

My go to fast food restaurant would be Army Navy. Whether it is breakfast, lunch, snack or dinner, Army Navy does not disappoint. So one lunch time, we trekked towards Commercenter and dined at Army Navy. There are not really a lot of diners during our visit so we were able to choose our seats. Since it is also a Taco Tuesday, we decided to order their Tacos (the hard shelled ones) and got a complimentary Libertea Iced Tea (which you can upgrade to a large one).

We usually order the soft tacos but the hard shelled ones are a lovely surprise. It is pretty delicious with lots of veggies, tomatoes, beef and cheese. I was able to consume the two tacos in one sitting and it was just right for my hunger. I was not too full. Service is quick since it is not yet crowded. As always, loved the Libertea Iced Tea with extra ice.

These little chicken soft tacos are my lovies. One of my favorites here that's surely won't hurt your diet. Served with their very own salsa. I loved putting hot sauce, but giving up the onions and cilantro.

I was too lazy to think of where to eat so when my officemate asked me, I gave him a typical Filipino answer "Kahit saan." Lol!

I ordered the usual - classic burger and freedom
Fries. The burger was just okay. Buns with beef patty, tomato and lettuce. Nothing was special about it.

Their freedom fries is my favorite. That salty fries with a little spicy after taste in every bite. UGH! I'm still that patatas girl. 128514128514128514

Bacon craving satisfied! Army Navy's Bacon Breakfast definitely gave us the generous bacon breakfast we have always wanted. Believe it or not, this breakfast meal even comes with longganisa and fried egg (and garlic rice, of course!) making it an awesome breakfast bundle! Served 24/7, anyone can get this awesome bundle for only P140.

Insert photo : our team having breakfast after the 2015 Condura race

We ordered: steak burrito, vegetable burrito and bangusilog , blueberry pancakes

Verdict: Not our first time to eat here but it's my first time to post a review. I love the vegetable burrito - gives me less guilt. The pancakes are better than iHop ( just for my opinion). The Bangusilog is okay though the waiting time isn't really that fast.

And oh, I like the Freedom Fries too

We just love it here. Burrito (chicken) + Freedom fries = 10084️ The milkshakes are okay. Nothing special about the iced tea. The place is small & may need to expand once foot traffic picks-up. Oh! And they accept credit cards too. 128077

I've always been a fan of Army Navy. This is the only burger joint that I eat as I don't normally eat burgers. But this place always make me want to. Coupled with Freedom Fries and their Libertea, I'm one happy kid. 128523

However, I wasn't completely satisfied with their Chipotle Crispy Chicken Burger. I was looking forward to this but I guess, I shouldn't have expected much. I felt that it was lacking in sauce which was quite okay. I'm sticking to my usual burger-freedom fries-Libertea combo for now.

Army navy never fails to satisfy our late night cravings! After 2 failed attempts to get a table at draft molito, we decided to head over to commerce center for our late night Friday date.
Decided to split the starving sailor (which we tried for the first time) and of course our fave libertea. Less one star cos they ran out of freedom fries. We got tortilla chips instead.
The chips ma were good but the nacho cheese was served cold, they could've popped it in the microwave for a few seconds.
The sandwich was huge though! Good but I would've wanted a bit more meat.
Glad we tried it but will stick to the steak quesadilla or chipotle chicken sandwich next time 128513
