After having a filling meal, my friend and I wanted some dessert. We decided to visit the Army Navy at The Pearl Plaza in Pasig City. This is what we had:
Brownie ala Mode (P65)

The classic chocolate brownie topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzled with chocolate and caramel sauces. The brownie is a bit chewy, so I recommend letting the ice cream melt for a bit. This helps soften the brownie and infuses it with the vanilla flavor from the ice cream.

Bergy Bit (P95)

The Bergy Bit is a crisp, toasted chocolate croissant cut open and stuffed with vanilla ice cream, with the whole thing sprinkled with confectioner's sugar.

Plastic forks are offered to eat the Bergy Bit, but some may prefer to eat it by hand. I suggest allowing the ice cream to soften the croissant first when eating with a fork. Otherwise the croissant is too tough to cut. When eating by hand, I suggest eating it straight away. With the weather warming up, the ice cream will not waste time melting away.

The whole thing is quite sweet and sugary thanks to the croissant, and its crisp, flaky textures makes for a nice contrast to the ice cream. I would definitely recommend this dessert to anyone visiting.

Army Navy to the rescue yesterday, when Where's Marcel? has no available food yet for lunch. Good thing Army Navy is just few steps away. I decided to try something new in the menu, its the Adobo Flakes. I chose the All-Day-Breakfast, other one is the Burrito type.

This is a no brainer choice. The adobo flakes is served with my ever favorite garlic rice, sunny side up egg, and atchara on the side for P185. The adobo flakes is well flavored (not salty, and medium crispy). Its filling! 128077🏼128077🏼128077🏼
