I have been a fan of Army Navy ever since I got a bite of their Freedom Fries. It is by far my favorite fries from any place out here in Manila. It's thin, slightly crisp and coated, and best of all, flavorful. Wash it down with LiberTEA and call it a day. Done and done.

My go-to heavy meal would have to be their burritos. If not their steak burrito, it's gotta be the carnitas burrito. The breakfast burrito definitely appeals to the breakfast lover in me, and it's something I crave a lot. It's seriously comfort food for me at the highest level, and Army Navy satisfies my cravings like no other.

Tip: They now serve breakfast, all day.

Pro Tip: Get the sausage and bacon breakfast meal. Affordably-priced and delicious!

Cheers,
Mickey

Run for the bunker! Army Navy specializes in hamburgers and burritos with a military motif. Some branches are designed to resemble a quonset hut. Army Navy is a sister restaurant of Yellow Cab.

I always say, come in suuuper hungry, walk out full and happy!!! You surely will! My favorite is Steak Quesadilla (folded tortilla filled with meat, cheese, sautéed onions and green bell pepper, toasted and served with salsa), with the additional order of Freedom Fries (seasoned thin-cut, crispy, zesty fries) and Libertea (freshly brewed iced tea). My favorite! I love their Libertea, it has a refreshing taste after eating the saucy quesadilla. I also like the special Army Navy sauce!

They also have burgers, burritos, all day breakfast meal, sandwich, nachos, onion ring, soup, fried chicken, tacos, other quesadilla, querida mia (pizza), toast, milkshake, soda and their infamous Starving Sailor! A thinly sliced beef steak/chicken topped with jalapeño-cheese spread, green bell pepper, and caramelized onions in an 8 inch sourdough bread! Now, who wouldn't want to run to that bunker?!!

Maybe the spicy tortilla soup and veggie burrito weren't the best choices on this hot afternoon with a barely functioning AC but the extra heat is worth it. Wish they put a bit more lime to the soup though

Tried the steak starving sailor. Bf and I liked it. However there were a lot of onions and I know in Philly cheesesteak style of sandwiches one would expect this, but I'm just not into onions. Buti nalang jan si bf taga ubos! :D

Been here for 3 times already. Good service.

I had a chicken burrito, and
When i noticed a strange texture on my palate, i inspected what i was eating. It was raw chicken. Beware of what you eat out there. Raw chicken = salmonella poisoning. They should really be
More careful about who cooks
And prepares food. It was not the first time.

This army navy branch is probably the most spacious one i've been to. This has two floors and parking at the back.

I finally decided to try the Starving Sailor with chicken with an order of onion rings. While my aunt ordered their breakfast burrito with an order of freedom fries. This was all for take-out.

Here, instead of you picking up your order from the window they just simply head over to your table and give the orders to you.

When one of the servers saw me getting ready to walk out the store he hurriedly walked towards the door and opened it for me and even the guard opened the car door for me.

So plus a 127775 on the service.

Now the sourdough for my starving sailor was a bit tough. But they really didn't get stingy with the chicken and cheese. I liked how juicy and soft the chicken was and the slices of green bell pepper went well with it.

I found the onion rings bitin, i wish there was more with every order.

While my aunt really liked her breakfast burrito.

This branch is quite small compared to the other branches. Also, it has a limited parking space.

Army navy's famous Freedom Fries tastes like KFC's but has a hint of spice. Their Libertea is somewhat refreshing. What I like here the most is the Starving Sailor. They use really good sour dough. And oh, the bell peppers and caramelized onions in it makes it absolutely delicious! 128523

About the price... hmm i'll say a bit pricey for students.

This branch is spacious for its location. From the outside I thought it could only house around 20 people but I was proved wrong.

I ordered their freedom fries and cheese quesadilla for take away. Gahd I love their fries! Crunchy, a bit spicy, and generous amount for 75php. 128523 Service was preety fast. 128077

Just -111088 because one of the crew was unattentive. I had to repeat my order thrice (if I remember it right). I don't know if she just didn't hear me clearly or she was spacing out. 128558

I wonder if the place gets packed during weekends.

It was a slow day when I went, and a gloomy one at that. Their place is quite spacious, but I only found about two spots in the dining area (g/f) comfortable to sit at. The place could've used more light.

The Chicken Quesadilla was really good. Filling, plus it came with fresh tomato salsa and garlic-mayo-like sauce. Another thing I want to rave about is that Cheese-Jalapeno dip! Suprisingly cheap at 20 pesos, it’s the perfect kind of thick! I like this more than the Frito Lay Cheddar Cheese dip you find in the grocery that’s around 140 pesos.

Next to pasta and milk tea, quesadillas are my third favorite. 128525

There was a month before summer started that I was having their chicken quesadilla twice a week. Medyo addict lang.. 128523I used to order their cheese quesadilla only when I wasn't that adventurous yet and now I always crave for this. They have this hint of kili-kili spice in it which for some reason, I really like. They have a generous serving of veggies which I have no idea what they're called since I'm a veggie hater and chicken and cheese!

I was also not a fan of iced tea til I met their Libertea which is so refreshing in so many levels! I like the fact that you don't really get to taste so much sugar like the packed iced tea plus it has a hint of calamansi and lemon.

Not to forget their famous freedom fries! I feel so free whenever I eat them! 128541 These are the kind of fries I like. It's similar to the ones in KFC with a hint of spice in it. Don't worry, it's not the kili-kili spice HAHA!

Their chicken is also good but not something I will ever crave for. Got to try their Breakfast Burrito, Marty's Style with cheese! YUM! I only got to bite from this one but it really leaves you with a full stomach since it's huuuge!

P.S They'll be giving out free Freedom Fries on June 12 for every order of a burger! Which I know I won't order since I don't eat burgers LOL will let someone order the burger so I can have the free fries teehee

First time we tried army navy burgers in GHills, we loved it esp the grill taste & clean taste of the patty - didn't taste like extenders. Loved the fries & iced tea too.

So we started to frequent their branch in Katipunan when it opened. Liked the operating hours too, good for late night dates w/ my nephews.

Quite disappointing on our last visit, the burger didn't taste as fresh as before. Last time we ate at their timog branch, it even gave me tummy trouble. Haven't been back since.

The 3-stars is for the memory of past visits, not the more recent ones.

Hope they return to their previous quality.
