Stayed here during the weekend. And I must say I was very impressed, among all their properties this I will.say is the best.
Its a serviced apartment so room.has kitchen, dining table and dryer/washer .very convenient compare to a regular hotel.

So this was during New Year. Haha!
We stayed here, checked in early. Got ourselves a room quick tho no one brought us there compared to Discovery Primea. The room was small too. It was a step down from what we stayed in. And the service was not good too. We asked for extra utensils but they took so long to respond and in the end they got nothing to give us.

The Ascott is not only excellent, but it lands in the top spot for me in the "Best Bang for you Buck" category.
For a rate that's in the mid $100 range per night, you get a roomy studio apartment with a kitchen, and washer/dryer. The bathroom is huge too with a full sized tub and standing shower. Bonus points for the rainfall shower head. And the quality was on point as well with wood/marble materials all around. It feels like a quality you would easily spend $200 -$300/night at other locations in Manila.
There's a gym and it's on point. Besides the usual cardio and weight machines, they had kettlebells! 5 stars for that!
Next to the gym is a 25m pool with a nice lounging area they even had bar next too it. Holla!
The breakfast buffet had a pretty good spread, which was included with the room rate (another 5 stars for that), and the staff was super nice!
There's free wi-fi throughout and the reliability/speed was pretty solid. They even have the option to upgrade to higher speeds, for a fee ofcourse.
Lastly, the location is great as you're within a few blocks from places to eat and hang out including High Street, Forbes, and the Fort Strip.
Overall, I would easily stay here again on my next trip to Manila!
