Are you looking for a very affordable accommodation in Panglao, Bohol without sacrificing comfort and convenience? Then, stay at Ashiya-na! It has high ratings in Agoda (9.1/10) and (9.3/10) and I'll tell you why.

What I like about the place:
- Convenient and safe location. All restaurants and other establishments are walking distance. Very quite as it is tucked in one of the streets. Not beach front but it is just 200m away from the beach (2-3min walk)
- Rooms are spacious
- Separate toilet and bathroom. Hot and cold shower available
- Generous supply of toiletries and towels
- Comfortable, soft bed
- Fast WiFi connection! I can even watch videos on Youtube in HD without buffering
- Very affordable. I only paid less than P8,000 for 3 nights. That already includes breakfast for 3 and extra bed
- Very clean from the interior to exterior of the premises
- There's cold water for drinking and hot water to make your coffee or tea
- Gina, the owner, is very accommodating, warm to her guests, and helpful. She even packed our breakfast when we went out early for the island hopping tour. She's one of the very reasons why you'll love the place. We encountered a problem on our first night because of double booking. Gina informed us days before our arrival and was very apologetic about it. She booked us in a nearby accommodation and fetched us the following day. Our airport transfer going back to the airport was free to compensate for the "inconvenience" she caused us (it saved me P500). In my mind, it wasn't a big deal. Also, we're already compensated for the great stay and service we experienced during our stay.
- Staff always smile and greet you every time you see them

What can be improved / suggestions for further satisfaction:
- Rooms don't have TV. Personally, having TV is just a nice-to-have for me since I can live with Internet connection alone. However, I was with my parents during the trip and there were times that we just stayed in the room. Luckily, they are into Facebook so they entertained themselves browsing and uploading their photos 128513
- Water coming from the faucet is a bit salty
