Wow is this a hotel or a hospital. This hospital really looks great and can be mistaken as a hotel. The lobby was very clean and elegantly design for a hospital. The place also got CBTL for their coffeeshop and a cafeteria by Chef Florabel wow! 9786

Asian hospital is among the top hospital in the south. Topnotch equipment and facilities. Had my stress test here today; maybe stress at work is not enough thats why the company doctor asked me to have a 2d echo stress test. Hahaha... The nurse and the doctor who assisted where very nice and very accomodating even if I arrived late for my appointmemt. They took care of me like a VIP 128522.

The only problem for me for this hospital is its in Alabang and its like a maze for me in this area. Better get uber or grabcar when you are going if you are not familiar with the place. I remember one time when the taxi got lost in alabang and suddenly we were back at slex/skyway 128561. So better have uber or grab that have waze.

Overall one of the best hospital. 128522

Most decent hospital in the south. Less people than Makati Med. Exorbitant laboratory/blood test fees! Better fees at Hi Precision.
They really need to renovate their restrooms.

No photo for this one. Got admitted to this hospital due to acute gastroenteritis.

What I liked in this hospital is that they have great service starting from the emergency room until you get discharged.

The nurses and the doctor in the ER were friendly. It really helps that they're friendly if you're already feeling sick. They put you in a room after triaging so you can rest while waiting for your doctor. The room was clean and well airconditioned (it's actually cold or I was just really sick).

I got the standard private room and stayed there for 2 days. It was spacious and clean. There's a cushioned bench where a watcher can sleep and a chair which is comfortable. The restroom was clean and spacious as well. It feels like a hotel room.

When you get discharged, you can ask for someone to assist you to get your bags and help you load them to your car. I don't know if other hospitals provide this service.

Really great service. If I need to get confined again (I hope not), I'll definitely pick this hospital.

That's the view from our room on the 10/F 128522
I find it strange that I'm reviewing a hospital 127973 but I just have to share my experience at 'the most expensive hospital in the Philippines'.
Hubby was scheduled to have a procedure done so we checked in the day before. Checking in (admitting? I'm not sure Ano tama 128513) was a breeze! You just present your admitting orders along with all your necessary docs (Philhealth, HMO) and the staff will assist you right away. No 'sungit' or 'I've been working all day' look from other hospitals I've been to.
Once the room is ready, someone from guest services will come with a trolley to assist you with your bags. Parang Hotel talaga! They'll make sure that the ac is working properly, bed is working, bathroom is clean etc.
Under our hmo, we got a private room which was very spacious, had a window bench a chair with an ottoman beside the bed. Upon checking out you can bring home your pillows.
Nurses change every few hours/shift. They were all very knowledgeable, kind and professional. You will really feel like you're in good hands.
Housekeeping and food services came in regularly.
Upon discharge, you just need to wait for a call from the billing dept to know if everything is ok and ready.
A lot of people say that this place is overrated, over priced etc but I feel you get what you pay for 128077šŸ¼

Frequent visitor of this hospital because this is where hubby's doctor is. (Hi Dr. Amante) 128513

Great doctors and friendly staff. I like that they have an affordable cafeteria with decent meals here. They also have an ample seats within each floor where patients can wait. The lobby should have additional chairs though. And I hope they renovate their toilets because some has broken cubicle doors and the tiles look dirty. Parking is also a challenge because it gets full easily.

Medical procedures here are a bit expensive than in SLMC Global but I feel that SLMC is more high-tech.

As I am typing this, I am lying in one of the Standard Private Rooms of the Asian Hospital and Medical Center.

This is not the first time I've been confined here, but this is the first where I had to undergo surgery.

Emergency Room Nurses were quick to bring me to Urgent Care, the Doctors were very responsive & you really feel like you're in good hands. The HMO people always follows-up & updates you, too. The RadTech people (CT Scan, MRI, etc.) were also very nice.

I was wheeled to and fro while the Doctors were trying to figure out what was causing my excruciating abdominal pain. But each & every time, I was surrounded by smiling & accommodating Nurses, Orderlies & Technicians.

While I was getting the tests needed to properly diagnose my condition, I didn't feel scared or anxious because I was constantly assured by the staff that I was gonna be ok (Positivism is always a PLUS when you're in a hospital). Even in the OR, the Doctors & Nurses made me feel light & happy, even if they were gonna open me up and go through my innards!

The rooms here, yes, even the Semi-Private ones, are actually very nice & comfortable. The BEST in the Southern Metro. The food is ok, but it's way better than other hospital or cafeteria food. The Housekeeping comes in like clockwork every day to clean. The CNAs are very respectful & accommodating as well.

My only pet peeve here is their WiFi. It's free, but connecting to it is sooo hard! My brother just gave me his WiFi Stick so my Mom could monitor me through FaceTime.

The Asian Hospital and Medical Center may be pricier than that of other Tertiary Hospitals here in these parts, but you get your money's worth in the service and medical care you receive here.

Was rushed to the ER the other night due to severe back pain. The pain was freakin' bad that my breathing became affected.

Top notch hospital, almost hotel like (but second only to St.Lukes BGC) with a really huge lobby and no hospital smell.

ER response was quite fast. They have private rooms in their ER contrary to ward looking versions in other hospitals. The place was clean and their apparatus for getting your vital signs were all digital.

The nurses, doctors and med techs were friendly, smiling almost every time they talk to me. Lab tests were done quickly too, compared to the long waiting games in other hospitals. The physician assigned to me made sure that I understood what's causing the pain and gave me examples and even scenarios. Good job!

Really good ER experience! 128522

Good facilities. Clean and classy place. Friendly and accomodating staff. The only downside is the parking.

But 5 stars because there's a great news to top them all 128522

My dinner for tonight was fish fillet, roasted pork in sweet sauce (dunno if that's what they call it), sukiyaki, and sliced watermelons. I was really surprised that they serve sukiyaki and watermelons now! I remember back then they used to give pumpkin or corn soup lang. And bananas, pears, or apples for the fruits. Hospital food's improving! 128077

It's funny how one of the nurses here on the 10th floor recognized our surname. Yo kuya Patrick B I think ikaw yung naalala niya. Hahaha.

(It's been a while, hi |ooloo!)

Bitin kayo? Eto na...

We got to Asian at 4:45AM. We were greeted by the guard and was pointed to the reception area. Nice to see more than 3 people working at the hospital!

Mr. Receptionist asked Jeff to fill his info in. By the time he was done with the form, two more nurses were there to listen to his story. His temp was checked using either the baril-sa-ulo or ear thermometer (forgive me, I have no idea what it's called and I forgot which was used, but I AM SURE it's the sanitized one.) A few more minutes and the nurses told him to wait because they're getting the doctor for him. Meantime he was placed under "Urgent" case.

No drawing morbid pictures in our head, unlike Mr. ParaƱaque Med nurse. We appreciate it a lot.

Couple more minutes and we were led to a temporary room. And a couple more, the doctor was there with us. By this time, Sheldon G and Jeff's mom were on their way. Just in case Jeff needed to be admitted, I told him he was better with his mom. They got there by 5AM. Sheldon and I left by 5:15.

It was by 10AM that Jeff was released. He said they did their ultrasound right away but of course, they had to wait for results and doctor's orders and release.

Apparently, it was the sundot ng basketball's fault. The trauma the thumb took didn't show up until after 5 days. It looked scary but there wasn't anything to worry about.

Although Asian is plenty expensive, you get the service you need, the time you need it. This is why it's my first choice. Not because Makati Med, St. Lukes, etc aren't as effective, but because Asian is just more accessible for us. Hindi pa kami pawis-pawis sa ka-woworry sa dapat mangyare sa amin. The place was cold, but i liked it!

PS, it's also nice that doctors and nurses (M and F alike) are eye candies. Lol!

AHMC's such a good hospital. Two buildingsā€“the hospital and the doctors building. The hospital building's lobby doesn't even look like a hospital lobby, it's more like a hotel lobby! Comfy couches and cool air-condition. It's not even magulo and noisy unlike other hospitals, in fact, they have someone to play the piano. Relaxing.

Back then I get confined quarterly due to asthma, I'm usually admitted at the 6th floor which is the pedia floor. (Yes I'm still counted as pedia! 128514) My family and friends would joke that I'm already a stockholder since I'm in and out of this hospital. 128514 My patient's tag is printed with my photo pa. Haha

I'm not sure if it's the Standard or Superior room, but it's nice and spacious. It has a white board where the nurse-in-charge would write his/her name and some reminders. I remember one nurse wrote 'get well soon'. Aww how sweet. 9786

The bathroom's spacious as well, with hot and cold shower, sanitized toilet, and since I'm at the pedia floor, the shower curtains are cute. Haha talk about pandas and giraffes!

The hospital bed's hi-tech, you can adjust how high your bed would be and how it would be inclined with the buttons on the side. The IV is hi-tech din! It's connected to an apparatus which monitors the amount of fluid and such.

The hospital food arrives on time. Oh and they'll give you a menu so you can choose what you want for the next day. Coolbeans! But of course the food listed depends on your prescribed diet.

The people here are very friendlyā€“from the nurses, to the maintenance people, to the canteen crew who deliver your food, to the guys at the lobby who assist you with your luggage and stuff, and to the guards. They'll even give you a rose on the day of your discharge.

The wifi isn't free unless you're admitted at the 10th floor (executive suites), though. And the parking is very limited, so sometimes we park at Festival Mall and just ride a shuttle to AHMC.

This hospital's like my second home. On Saturdays, if I'm not out at the mall, you can find me here. LOL kidding 128514

I have been in and out of the Asian Hospital and Medical Center several times for various reasons and I must admit that for the last 2 years their service has improved by leaps and bounds.

They seem to be going for a pampered hotel experience and they are certainly succeeding. The lobby is airy and light, well appointed and immaculately clean. A pianist was even playing when we entered.

Checking in wasn't a problem either, in fact, it was quick and painless. We presented our Maxicare card and the doctor's admitting orders and in 10 minutes flat we had a room booked. A Guest Services employee brought us to the room and explained all the "doo-dads" as well as introduced us to the attending nurse, Namae. She's was so pleasant and well-mannered that the feeling we got was of genuine care and concern.

30 minutes after, the Account Managers of Maxicare came in and explained all items covered by our company health policy. We were given an exclusive help hot line if we had any more questions that were not covered by their briefing. Really impressive!!! 128515128079128079

Am still holding back 1 star though because parking is a H U G E problem. I guess, when the new wing is built, they will re-open the other parking areas. Maybe for the mean time they should have a valet service.
