Attended a workshop at Astoria Palawan. It was an hour and a half drive from the airport and the city. It is good for families that intend to stay at the resort the whole duration of their stay.
The rooms are simple but well appointed. The bathroom presents a bit of difficulty as their shower/tubs are not really easy to get to and in fact may be dangerous for the elderly and children. The bathroom fittings take a bit of time to figure out ...
And stay you would. There are plenty of things to do at the resort.. but maybe the kids will just hang out at the nearby Waterpark. They offer a free one time entrance to the park for all checked in guests. They do have their own pool at the resort, bicycles for guesta to use, and a well appointed gym. Just walking around exploring is actually a treat in itself. The beachfront though is not as nice as the other places in Palawan.
The food is simple but delicious. The breakfast buffet offers a well chosen mix of international and local dishes. We loved the local desserts and local specialty food that they include in each meal.
But the best asset the resort has is the service. From the welcome to the send off...we felt like celebrities!

It's quite far from all the touristy places in Puerto Princesa, but they can arrange a tour for you (which would cost more than the usual rate if you book it in the city). So you come here to enjoy and relax, which you can most certainly do with their amenities such as free kayak, bikes, game room, karaoke room, etc.

It's also an eco-friendly hotel, though I have no clue in what way.

Good resort. Just don't stay here if you want to do the touristy tours in Puerto Princesa, it's far.

Staff are all very friendly, too.

Would have given 5 stars if not for their location. Sobrang layo sa lahat! We spent more than php10k just to get in and out of this resort. That's how inconvenient the location is.

Such a very very beautiful place.

It just opened this year. It's located 60km away from Puerto Princesa City. It's a beach front hotel. Travel time would be around 1-1.5 hours. Definitely a perfect place to relax. There are about five rooms per villa. There's a pool that changes color at night.

My parents are members here so we only paid the reservation fee. We came there after our Underground River Tour. We were welcomed with necklaces and a damp hand towel. Food was good also.

Sadly, we missed the grand opening.

Overall, it's a very wonderful experience.
