When a friend invited us to go a few weeks back, and since it would be on a side of Boracay we haven't been to - we decided to go right there and then. It's been years since I last went to Boracay so this trip seemed like an exploratory one again.

Asya Premier is on the very end of the Boracay beach, if Microtel and Fridays is the end of Station 1, Asya is on the very end - way past the last resort of Station 3. It being remote, it helps since you get to experience the Boracay of the past where it's only you and a few others looking at the infamous sunset Boracay has to offer.

A grand lobby welcomes you as you entire the resort, the room as you can see is spacious and luxurious, and you have your own dipping pool with jacuzzi. The owners decided to make perfect use of the hilly terrain to make the villas each have a great view of the sea.

The centerpiece is the grand infinity pool at the base of the hill before you hit the beach. In as much as I wanted to ask for access for one of the higher villas to take a picture, modesty took the best of me and I didn't ask anymore.

They give water bottles in 2 separate times, in the morning when they make the room up as you leave, and another one during the turn down service when you're having dinner.

Service is impeccable as you're greeted with your name by select staff, I'm guessing the superiors are tasked to remember you by name as I got greeted with my name several times whether it be at the restaurant or even just by walking back to the room. I've only experienced that twice, in Amanpulo and in Pangulasian Island.

The place also perhaps gave me the longest set of house rules I've ever needed to agree with as a staying guest. Rules on drone use, noise levels, etc. are all defined to really protect the privacy of each guest.

We got to walk the entire length of the white beach since Asya was really the last resort on one end - you can clearly see that Station 3 and 2 are heavily congested. There are now even pure Chinese restaurants with pure Chinese menus to cater to the mainland Chinese tourists, as they now outnumber the Korean and Japanese guests.

If you really think about it, the efforts being done by PRD is now necessary so that the future generation can still see the beauty of Boracay. It rained on the 3rd day and the small puddles and pathway flooding give the indication that the place is in dire need of a sewage system.

Boracay is actually on the wrong side of the news these days as reports of sanitation and waste issues will be everything you hear. While it's a 50-50 situation when tourist arrivals boom, when the area isn't equipped as well to handle the influx - it also destroys the environment.

If you're planning to make the trip, consider staying here to get the Boracay experience like how it should be. Peaceful, majestic & pristine!

This was taken a few years back. We were staying at the Asya @ Station 2 and since the Premier had just opened, they invited us to tour the place.

We toured the suites, took a dip in their private beach and relaxed in their infinity pool 128077

If you're looking for some quiet time, away from all the noise and just want some privacy, THIS is the place!

Also, if you want some good food, try their restaurant. Tho thats in a different review 128521 since we went back last year just to eat here.
