My go to home cooked place. 128522
I remember a few years back, my friends would go around the area to look for good eats.. But we always end up dining or getting take outs from here. 128076🏻

It's affordable and the food is just so good! 10084

Spotlight on SIZZLING SISIG.
Got excited to try it due to the enthusiasm of my officemates. Sadly, this isn't the chunky, crispy type of sisig you'd want to devour with extra rice!

Sure, their take on "sisig" is a must try and might pass for a good lunch, (but no) it just won't merit more than 2 stars because I don't like how the base pork is finely chopped that it nearly can't be classified as sisig anymore :(

swimming in oil, "onion-ated", sizzlin' with taba, and not much 'lamang loob' either.

Serving during our try is not that good. However, it's fast. We tried their best seller Sisig. It's good though, super oily. I think ate fe's best seller would be their Canton Guisado. Try it! :)))

A no fuss eatery found at the heart of Maginhawa. Food is affordable and on the cheap side, Ranging from 85-100 for short orders. Didn't bother at looking at the -log meals. If you need a quick affordable fix when you are near the area, this is the place. It can be hot as the place is not airconditioned. It could also be packed with a lot of people during crowded days and can be sweltery as hell. And when you do go, come in groups as you get to enjoy more selections.

Goto orders include sisig, curry, lechon kawali and their pancit. They also have vegetables but choices are minimal. I only order chopsuey and nothing else. They also sell pancit by the bilao amounting to around 700php (maybe for the biggest).

Service is quick. Food's okay. Can't expect more. Ambiance is so-so. Again, what do you expect?! 128522

The good: excellent value ( price / taste)
I will rate this place as 5 stars if only I will consider that. I recommend their sisig, and chicken silog.

The bad: small place, looks dirty not maintained properly. This place is basically a carinderia, so it's understandable. Good thing the road in maginhawa was fixed, so at least that part (shop entrance) is improved.

Since I prioritize value, I still rate the place 4 stars :)

This little unassuming home cooked place in Maginhawa Street serves the most sizzle for a plate of sisig. Literally.

The place can get cramped during dinner hours and is mostly filled with students from UP Diliman or residents of the village. Tables and chairs are mostly mono-bloc with additional wood counterparts.

The things on the menu are priced P80-P100. This famous sisig is worth around P90 good for 2 people with relatively good appetite. Costumers wait around 20 minutes for the platters. In waiting, they go into hiding.

The sisig is basically served just minutes after the oil is at maximum heat therefore it goes out of the kitchen literally jumping about. In our circle of friends, we try to assign a mixer, the one brave enough to reach out his hand and get the sautéing finished for our cause. Now how's that for adrenaline rush?

Who would not fall in love with Ate Fe's? At first the place looks shady but a bite of their lechon kawali and their sisig would make you think twice about your concept of heaven - because you would think you're already in it. I never get tired of this place.

A hyper take on the sizzle of sizzling sisig. They give out your platter straight from the oven with oil still jumping up and down on it. Worth P95 good for 2 people with real big appetite, the adrenaline rush and a few oil burns is worth it. Also try the sweet and sour pork. Yum.

Yummy beef broccoli with rice and their sisig! If you like home cooked food style, you'll love to eat here plus it's affordable. The place is not that nice, though.

If your looking for lutong bahay, well ito na yun? I tried their pork sisig (one of the bestseller) masarap 128079naman but after awhile nakakaumay na. And if you're not a fan of oil, dont order this, nagswimming ito sa mantIka. I also had chopsuey.,,at first sabi ko kulang sa lasa but yun ang naubos ko 127881kasi hindi nakakaumay and the veggies are fresh. 12807795 sisig + 60 chopsuey rice = laki tyan kasi nag extra rice pa pala ako!!! 128513

Don't expect much in terms of ambience or interiors. It's more of a carinderia than a restaurant. But man, sisig and rice for P60?? Good stuff. It wasn't the best sisig in the world but for the price, you can't complain. It's the type of sisig that'd go great with a bucket of cold beers. 127866

Cheap but yummy pinoy food. My favorites are chicksilog, fish broccoli and beef curry. Their sauce is always overflowing and everything looks soup-y but they're nice. :)
