it's a nice time going to a world class zoo in the philippines. good thing it didn't rain. 128077128077128077128077128077

on our way to the zoo, while stuck in traffic, we saw this bread shop (picture) selling flowers 128514128514128514

Celebrated my first Mother's day here with my daughter, husband and his Angelicum friends and their kids.

The place is huge. We had fun but it's super hot! Bring water, food, extra clothes and |ooloo umbrella. They sell food at a reasonable price but the food choices are limited to BBQ, liempo and hotdog.

We saw snakes being fed. (Not fun part of the tour.) I feel bad for the chicken. The tour guide said that the snakes are fed once every two months. (Swerte pa kame? Hmmm not sure kase parang ayoko na kumain ng chicken after eh.) We even saw a tiger peed on the guest before us. Speechless!

It's a nice place for family bonding. It's way better than Manila Zoo! Haha

The place was too big. You will really need a guide if you do not want to miss anything. The animals are allowed to be touched. I love the urangutan and those cute cubs roaming around the zoo. Good point is, they allow their guests to bring food inside. 128515

one of its kind...best zoo in the country so far. we have been here for nth time including each educational fieldtrips my kids have.

we just hope big mammals will soon be included (i.e. elephant, giraffe & among others)...

nice side trips in case you're heading or around east of metro manila... its worth the trip as a saying goes...

I think our plan of going to this place wry early on a Sunday was a smart move. I highly recommend this to everyone who has not been here because it is far. But once you get to it, you will see that it is worth the trip :)

The animals look well taken care of. The place was spacious and clean. The staff were very helpful and they really looked like they LIKED working in the zoo!

One suggestion we would like the zoo to h e is a map of the place. We did not want a zoo guide so we had to find our way around by trial and error. It was fun, though :)

See mischievous monkeys, catch the breathtaking white peafowl, hang around the white tigers, get up close and personal with the turtles, bathe the pygmy hippo and chime in with the chimps when they start howling.

RODRIGUEZ Rizal's pride. If he's an alive human being, he'll give all praises to this wonder, for making this almost remote province well known today. Definitely a good place to visit if you love animal sight seeing.
