I loved that they have reserved seats. You can buy tickets one day in advance at the latest. Cinema 5 has the best Dolby Digital 7.1 system. Screen size is enough. The picture quality is fine. It is one of the best cinemas in Cebu.

I love also that they have rest rooms at the back of all their movie theaters except Cinema 5. Perhaps the only cineplex in the Philippines to have restrooms at the back. That makes the travel very shirt and can return to your seat quickly in the middle of watching a movie.

Almost forgot that I'm now here in Cebu so was a little startled that the ticket price was different! Hahaha. Paid P220. I got a good seat at the higher level, I opted to sit near the aisle whenever I'm alone. 128584128077🏼

Buy tickets at sureseats.com to avoid the long lines at the ticket booth. Their cinema is located near the foodcourt so it's a bit crowdy.

I finally get to watch The Choice. A Nicholas Sparks tweetums movie hahahaha! Superman forgot to work on the treadmill he got bloated somehow. Haha (Tom Welling, Smallville) but still a cutie. Hehe I'm in love with the place. I love Teresa Palmer's country house, every bit of it! I wanna have my own house someday on the countryside, by a lake or river and then you get to meet some hot, random guy paddling his boat haha overall the movie was ok. *Spoiler alert: Very unrealistic recovery. Haha! Wasn't very moving at all contrary to what rumors say, please! I was a puddle watching Inside Out! The best movie ever and it's just animation film.

But anyway, going back to the real issue here, the cinema I was watching at was Cinema 5, located at 4/F outside the main mall. I think it was still newly constructed. Very comfortable seats, easy to find seating plan. No problem at all. I was seated along row N and I prefer there by the aisle, somewhere a little bit further from the screen. I paid PhP220.

What's nice about Ayala Cinemas is that it has reserved seating. When you purchase a ticket, you are given the option to pick where you want to sit so long as it's still available. Ticketing system is computerized and efficient.

There are restrooms at the back of the cinemas except for Cinema 5. Audio is good. Seats can't be reclined but still comfortable. There is a priority lane for PWDs and Senior Citizens.

Since the cinemas are located in between the food stalls of the food court, it can get really crowded sometimes, most especially when there are long lines.

For some reason, only Ayala carries the movie 50 Shades here in Cebu. 128077

We watched last full show for Taken 3 here.

The fourth floor can be confusing as the ticket booth and theaters are scattered all over the floor. Cinema's is divided in between the food court.

Anyways, Once inside it is comfortable and modern but I prefer the SM Theaters in SM City Cebu.

Originally planned on watching Star Trek but only to find out the first screening that day was still at 6:45 PM since it shared a cinema with The Great Gatsby. 128542 But it was cool, I still haven't seen Gatsby anyway.

And boy I'm glad I finally did. I had my misgivings regarding the film at first, what with all of the negative feedback/reviews I've read online, but after watching I've learned not to trust all of what I read entirely and just go see it for myself. 128541

Man, it was awesome. 128077128077 I did not hate Tobey Maguire playing Nick Carraway as I thought I would, and Carey Mulligan was gorgeous and oh my lawd Leo!!! 128571 Couldn't think of any other actor who could play Jay Gatsby as flawlessly as Leo did. 128557 Gods and goddesses of film and cinematic achievements, give him his Oscar already! 128591 (Ok I just realized this is supposed to be a review for the cinema not the movie so I'll shut up about it now.)

Soooooo the cinema! Video and audio were of excellent quality. 128077 No glitches whatsoever. Very big screen (you can see Leo's wrinkles even if his face wasn't zoomed in). -1 127775 for their seats not being La-Z-Boys. 128529 Lol, I kid. 128540 Seats were comfy enough but a bit small (I'm a small person so that's saying something) and you couldn't recline them. A/C was doing its job well. There are also restrooms at the back so you don't have to go outside when nature calls. It wasn't free seating! Yay! I hate free seating; gives me an opportunity to hate other moviegoers when they get the nicer seats first.

The staff were also nice. After the movie, they smilingly asked us if we'd want to re-watch the movie so they could stamp us. 128522

Also, there's Taters (among many other food stalls) outside. +1 127775 for not crappy popcorn and my blueberry shizzled-up soda! 128513
