Three of their 4 cinemas are priced at PhP400 with popcorn and water. The 3 cinemas have the reclining seats.

I always think it’s better to spend money on food than to watch a movie. That’s one of the reasons why we haven’t visited a movie house in a long time. Last time I checked on sure seats, our last movie date was April 2016. With Netflix and all, I can watch good film and series whenever I wanted to (that’s another reason).

So here’s the deal. We only watch a movie if 1) it has to be a very good film 2) action-packed movie with my hubby’s fave hero characters 3) Tagalog movie only if John Lloyd is the bida 128514. Sorry naman. #wepapyoutoo

Anyway, so I had us booked via sureseats the movie of Avengers: Infinity War (2nd day). We always watch at Trinoma Cinema but this time I know that there were lots of people going crazy about this new Marvel Movie. So I thought of Vertis North’s Ayala Cinema. Having no clue of how much movie is, I booked immediately while hubby is sleeping. By the way, this movie is a surprise date for him since he really wanted to watch this film.

Next day, we went to Vertis North early to watch the said movie. I paid 400 each plus admin fee of 50 for online booking. I was so happy because I learned that the Php400 fee consists of popcorn and a bottle of water already. The bonus part is, all the seats at Cinema 3 were lazy boy. They had nice interior, good sound and clean place. We really enjoyed our movie experience. It was indeed a very relaxing movie date for Mr. and Mrs. C 10084️.

Too bad my reclining chair won’t work!!! Didn’t enjoy watching Black Panther tuloy 🤪

Don’t reserve F2 in cinema 3 not unless you ask the staff if it’s fix already 🤨

I watched Transformers: The Last Knight at one of the 4 cinemas of the newly opened Vertis North (beside Trinoma; still with only a few stores open and also free parking) last month. Since this is a lifestyle or neighborhood mall, it only has 4 cinemas, but the one we went to, Cinema 1, had an impressive all Lazy Boy theater. The only hitch I found with the set up was that the table extension isn't easy to set up. Oh yes, they have a table between the chairs for convenient placement of the snacks so great idea. Been waiting for this a while already to happen in the PH, in fact I experienced a cinema in Austin where they served food like a resto. But it's okay, it's more of a novelty than a norm.

This features a Dolby Atmos sound system. Very very good and top of the line. 128522

The staff were also hyping to me their Cinema 2 which features a GIANT screen, which I got to slip in and see afterwards, it did look huge, like an IMAX, but I don't know the inherent advantage of such a size. Anyway, this is something to look forward to. I write this as I'm about to watch Valerian today also at Vertis North. 128522

Side Note: This was my least favorite of the 5 Transformers movie. Ugh. 128545

Right now, the lazy boy theater is at an Intro Price of P300 only, which is about 30 to 40% cheaper than other Ayala cinemas with Lazy Boy chairs.
