There was a crazy thunderstorm hereabouts a couple of weeks ago. It was so loud that you could really feel the house shake. The gods must have been having a bowling party! My brother in law who lives in Ponticelli gave us a call cos the power is already out in their area and they'll be heading here to Alabang to spend the night. Unfortunately, about 20mins after his call we lost power too! Buti nalang my 2 in 1 emergency light and fan was fully charged 128516 so we gave them a call to check in nalang somewhere since it's dead narin here.
So I've already settled in with my light and book (whut) when we got another call that they've already checked in azumi but there's already electricity at their place 128517 they wanted to know if we wanted their room, of course!
I hastily packed an overnight bag and went off to azumi (which is 5mins away btw 128513)
Check in was quick, they just checked our IDs and we got the key cards for our room. There were about 5 other guests from our village that night hehe.
Room had 2 queen size beds (sorry had to fix it up again for the pics 128517), a ref, ample closet space, a sink, a working desk, TV and Kettle. What they didn't have was a hair dryer 128529 temp was adjustable and we had a small balcony as well. OMG I love their cable! They had KBS2 AND MBC!
Sleep was a bit restless (namamahay?) and you can hear the noise a bit from Alabang Zapote Rd. I guess you can request for a higher floor if you're not comfortable with the city noise. Woke up around 7 to check out the breakfast spread at Romulo Cafe which was meh as in. Ate here a few years ago and it was already meh, apparently they didn't improve at all. Hubby went home around 8 to work but I stayed until 12 to maximize the stay.
Less one star though cos the bathroom door can either be closed for the shower or closed for the corridor - which means water will splash everywhere when you take a shower. Weird.
Nice boutique hotel imo, it's my 2nd time here. Good for families w babies since there are refs for the milk AND the power doesn't die when you take out the key card! But pls work on the food 128533

This boutique hotel is popular for its chic interiors and roofdeck pool atop south manila. Rooms are impressively clean with sleek minimalist design. Food is served by Romulo Cafe.

Banks, malls, and restaurants are accessibly situated around the area.

So going here from QC was a bit of a hassle when commuting. We took a cab and it costed us around 500 pesos. You can actually take other methods of transportation but its all up to you.

Off to the hotel, they were packed during mother's day weekend. It just so happened that its our anniversary weekend too. Their front desk was very busy and we have been accomodated after 30 minutes; it was good enough since we're so tired from the traveling.

Their location is very close to Molito and ATC. This was very convenient for us. We had a wide range of choices for dinner.

The room was simple and cozy. We had a fridge, microwave oven, couch, queen bed, balcony. The pool was crowded since its a summer weekend. Also you might find that the water is a bit salty because they say its salt water...

The weekend was great. We had a good time to relax and celebrate our anniversary.

clean and eco-friendly room. bathroom may be exposed but you can opt to bring down the blinds for privacy. i love their shower, very fine drops of water to your body. makes you want to stay inside the shower room longer than usual (considering the bed weather we have right now). 128513

- comfortable bed
- theres a day bed in the room (loved this the most)
- very clean bath and room
- good water pressure and temperature
- most affordable minibar EVER! Soda is 35php and act II microwavable popcorn just 40php 128076🏻
- very good hotel restaurant (romulo's cafe)
- free parking
- they have a nail spa and offer in-room massages which was very relaxing
- great location! Very near malls and commercial areas

- my extra pillows never arrived
- check in and check out a little but slow
- hotel very noisy! You can hear the people walking and talking along the halls, and footsteps coming from the top floor are disturbing (awful awful noise)

Overall, would recommend despite things to improve.

Great place just to relax, and get away for awhile
Rooms are simple, cozy, and furnished with what you need, including fast internet wifi! Slept really well here, the bed is really comfortable. Only problems I encountered is the parking space, it is quite cramped and the view! Couldn't get a nice view of the sunset and sunrise

Yep its close to the malls, however crossing the street is like playing crossy road

One of the most relaxing staycation ever! 128522
I first saw this Azumi Botique Hotel through Bangs Garcia's IG post. And then I've tried to find their website and surprisingly it's so near from my Office in Alabang.
We stayed for 1 night only just to experience their Infinity Pool, Php3000 for 1night inclusive of 2 Buffet Breakfast at Romulo's Cafe.
The Room was very cozy, pretty and clean. I love the color combinations of the wall and furnitures.
The Staffs are very accomodating. They assisted us very well.
The Infinity Pool is actually the highlight of our stay. We got to see it by daytime and by night to see the difference. 128514 I much appreciated the night photo coz of the green lights of the pool. Very relaxing.

Stayed on the top most floor for a conference. We were at the conference room but beside it there appeared to be accommodation, a spacious room that would have easy access to the infinity pool on the roof top with a wonderful view of the colorful city lights at night. It was very windy outside so we stayed indoors. Food was delicious and we had too much fun, as if we were not in a conference.

The ever reliable girlfriend brought me here just last weekend to celebrate my birthday and boy, The boutique hotel was awesome! it was relatively easy to find despite the traffic, very quick to check in , parking was easy, the staff truly helpful and the view was great, and they have this Citibank sixty percent promo for only 3,300 bucks which has an uncanny quirk- all the stuff in the ref is all yours for free! Would you believe it?? Different kinds of Beers , Sola Ice tea, water, Soju, you name it ! Too bad we never swam in the salt water infinity pool at the hotel's topmost floor because we woke up kind of late. But I'm sure one of these days will be back there!! Btw, Theres a small mall in front of the hotel-Molito in case you forgot to bring something. You would alao want to try their signature Filipino restaurant at the ground floor- the ever improving Romulo's Restaurant.. next time I will also try drinking at their bar on the penthouse which has an incomparabale view of the city, truly my first ever sleep over in the Alabang area was memorable!! #12Days

I sleep really well in hotel beds for some reason. I love the clean sheets and bathrooms, I love the room service, the sky bars, the pool, the view, it's always a good stuff. I love waking up in the morning for coffee and a continental breakfast. It's always nice having that space alone or with someone in a hotel when you don't want to deal with the outside world. Anyone else feel the same way?

We booked for a room in Azumi for 2 nights for a much-needed weekend staycation and the experience is superb, memorable, I just can't find anything negative to say.

DISCLAIMER: This will be the longest review I will make by far so brace yourselves people, but I promise you it'll be worth it. 128521128523

Azumi is just a 3-minute walk away from Molito Mall and a 5-minute walk from Alabang Town Centre. 7/11 is just around the corner. I have also researched, it is 20 minutes away from NAIA by car via Skyway.

You get a free parking and free WiFi access. They also have a complimentary daily shuttle to ATC. Rooms are air-conditioned, equipped with basic appliances like flat-screen TV, safe, microwave oven, refrigerator, electric kettle, complimentary instant coffee and bottled water, flatware and cutleries, and supplied with a few grocery items charged based on consumption at an affordable price. The refrigerator is well stocked with bottled beers, sodas in can, and fruit drinks.

The rooms include a sitting area (sofa bed), a long desk should you need to lay down your stuff. Bathroom is very clean and has a rain shower and hot water. Rooms have modern and classy interiors. I loved their soft queen-sized bed and clean sheets and comforters.

Local cuisine is served at Romulo Café which is located at the lobby.

The lobby is so posh, it has an array of photo frames, books and travel mementos. Nail Spa is also located at the lobby should you need pampering.

Staffs are very nice, helpful, and courteous. They can help you with items available upon request incase you need a hair dryer, can opener, iron, rice cooker, chopsticks, or if you feel more comfortable taking a bath using tabo and timba. 128541

"Azumi" in Japanese means "safe residence." Which is why for security purposes, you will be given a proximity card that you need to swipe at the elevator to access only the floor where your room is. You will ofcourse have an access to the lobby, parking levels, and Pent House where the pool is without having to swipe the key card.

I've read some negative reviews prior to our stay about the lack of privacy because of the transparent glass wall in between the bathroom and the room. Some people said it was awkward to take a shower while friends or family members can watch them, unless you are in a honeymoon or romantic stay and then sure you may plan far a last minute strip tease show. 128518 Well, the good news is, it seems like they pay attention to negative feedbacks, our bathroom had blackout blinds which can be lifted down should we need privacy. In any case your room doesn't have one, i'm sure they can sort that out.

Azumi has a strict no smoking policy anywhere in the building including the rooms, roof deck, and pool area. They have a designated smoking lounge outside the lobby and at the outdoor cafe area of Romulo's Café.

Now, up to their Pent House where the salt water infinity pool is, it will give you a 360 degree view of the Alabang Skyline. Our night swim at the pool while looking at the stunning view was the highlight of our stay.

Talk about the value of money, we don't mind spending as much again for a repeat experience because we had a wonderful experience from start to finish and we will be happy to return. I was particularly impressed with their genuinely friendly staffs and excellent service. One of the best hotels I ever stayed in. We will be back, Azumi! 128521

Value for money!!!

Location: Walking distance from Molito and Alabang Town Center which means you'll never get bored or hungry! 7-11 is just around the corner so no worries if you get hungry in the middle of the night. It is also situated where you can jog early in the morning. :)

Standard Room: Simple and posh. The room has the basic appliances that you need like refrigerator and microwave oven. :)

Facilities: It has a rooftop infinity lap pool which gives you a good view of Alabang. Parallel to the pool is their spacious function room.

Romulo Café is at the lobby which is perfect if you're craving for Filipino dishes. :)

A salon establishment is also at the lobby. :)

Staff: Very courteous and helpful especially their security guards. :)

Experience: 1008410084100841008410084️ Will never get tired of going back to this place to chill and relax.

Awesome, awesome place for a staycation! Really enjoying the whole vibe of this hotel. Being in alabang, location-wise its far from all the hustle and bustle but not too detached from the city. Rooms are simple, comfy, and come with a balcony/veranda (for the garden rooms). Going up to the penthouse, you get to see their infinity pool overlooking alabang! The makati skyline from this vantage point looks really good. I'd go ahead and say that this is probably the most instagrammed spot in the hotel. 128247 Oh, and they dont charge crazy prices for the snacks and drinks at the in-room mini bar. I'm serious! So go ahead and indulge 128521

The free breakfast buffet was just so-so. What i enjoyed a lot though was the salpicao at the penthouse bar, but still quite expensive at P355. Wish they also provided glasses or cups to use in their rooms as well as offer house water at the bar (if you wanted some, you had to ask for bottled 128528).

But overall, i'm leaving this place a happy, refreshed, and satisfied customer. And thats what really matters i guess 128522

Singapore feels within Manila!

Wanting to swim up above? Don't need to book a plane ticket to Singapore to experience this kind of infinity pool!

Azumi Boutique Hotel it is!
It offers a beautiful ambience if you want to have a short getaway. Aside from the Salt Water Infinity Pool, this hotel is very nice and the interiors especially at the lobby and romulo cafe are very stylish.

Good thing is that it's just a walking distance to Alabang Town Center.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel for 3 nights. They have everything! Bar and Infinity Pool at the rooftop, Spa, Cafe, and a very relaxing rooms.

Yes, this was taken at the Azumi in Alabang so no, we were not at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. 128109

We checked in last October 3, 2015 for our first anniversary via We got the Garden Room for P2900 plus 23% tax so that's 3,600 in total. Their different room types are the King Room, Queen Room, Garden Room, Garden Corner Room, and the Penthouse. We didn't avail of the buffet breakfast at their restaurant, Romulo Café, which I think was 300 per head.

Anyway, we were warmly greeted by the hotel staff. Their lobby has a modern chic travel vibe to it. Check-in was a breeze at 2 p.m. and we were escorted up to our room by the bellboy who graciously helped is with our bags.

Our room was spacious! Bedding was superb, there was an extra couch for extra guests to sleep on. The couch was big enough for me to comfortably sleep on and I'm 5 foot 8! 128077🏼128077🏼

The hotel is eco friendly so they promote reusing towels and their bathrooms don't have bidets. The bathroom door is the same as the shower door, this is a common concept in eco friendly hotels like Holiday Inn Express. Btw, it's a see through bathroom so it's best if you pull down the shade before you take a bath! 128514 Rain shower and hot water? Check! 128077🏼128077🏼

The room has a kitchenette with a microwave, a sink, water heater, complimentary instant coffee and bottled water, and a two-door refrigerator. The ref is fully stocked with sodas, juices, and some beer. But of course, we opted to just buy outside but the prices of the drinks were okay, like 20-30 peso difference. Big tv with HDMI/USB compatibility, there's a desk where you can lay out your work stuff or just your stuff. 128514

The garden terrace had faux grass and a table good for two. Perfect for dinner and drinks. View-wise there was nothing but buildings but we didn't mind because.......

THE ROOF DECK! The beautiful, saltwater infinity pool was truly, a sight to behold. We went for a night swim and there were a few guests quietly enjoying the Alabang skyline. They had a bar and I think a restaurant as well but we didn't check that out anymore. They offer you beach towels to lie down on if you want to sit on the cushions beside the pool. Don't worry, the salt water doesn't sting like beach water, it's like a milder version of chlorine so it was just perfect.

We had food deliveries sent straight to our rooms and we just crossed the street to buy groceries from Puregold and pizza for dinner from Domino's.

Our morning swim was very relaxing, it was a bit hazy (SG vibes!) but the skies eventually cleared out and there were birds flying from a distance. How I wished every morning would start like this! 9925127946🏼

Check out was a breeze as well, we availed of their shuttle going to the mall across us (the hotel shuttle goes to the Molito Mall and ATC).

Overall, we would definitely come back. The hotel's location is very strategic, rooms are new and clean, staff was attentive, and the roof deck infinity pool was the cherry on top. Superb experience for our weekend getaway, they even put love swan-shaped towels on our bed because I noted that we were celebrating our anniversary! Plus points for that! 128077🏼128077🏼128077🏼

Adios! 128111
