VietnANAMAZING...was what my mind is shouting whe we ate at Ba noi's..(sorry can't fight it) We ordered Bun Cha Gio Thit Nuong, basically it is a vermicelli with pork spring rolls and different types of meat. Pho Ga or in laymans term chicken noodle soup. And an additional order of freshly baked bread..

Really loved how they cooked their food specially when you love veggies. You might forget what you ordered but you will never forget how it tasted. We will surely come back..128525128525128525128525

Wow! The food at this place!!!

I really, really loved how fresh and crisp everything was! We ordered the Pho Bo (because my friend was craving for some pho :) It's your basic pho - beef noodle soup with veggies. Really yummy during the burrrrrr months.

The Bun Cha Gio Thit Nuong (pictured) may have been my favorite. Rice noodles with pork and beef spring rolls and veggies??? YES PLEASE! So good when doused (not so much) with the chili sauce. Note: all the sauces were the perfect compliments to all the dishes.

The Goi Cuon (pork, shrimp and vermicelli rolled in rice paper) was probably another one of my faves, even though I wasn't able to enjoy it with the shrimp (I'm allergic, FML). The peanut sauce brought out the pork's meatiness (fattiness?) and gave it the umfff it needed.

Service was much to be desired, but everything else was just great!

P.S. - try the fresh sugarcane with lime. yum!

Another satisfying meal thanks to Ba Noi's!

The goi cuon (vermicelli rolls) is a staple must try. Six pieces per order at P215.

For entrees,
- the bo luc lac (beef with dried basil), tender and tasty, is not to be missed. P370
- the ga nuong (grilled chicken) was nothing extraordinary but a safe dish to order if you want chicken. P270

Service could have been more attentive, especially since it wasn't a full house.

Their pho bo definitely tastes like the ones i've had in VN, but their bun cha leaves much to be desired. Crazy how these cost more than twice as much as the ones you find in VN. Missing how cheap food and drinks are in VN. The ca phe sua da's coffee grounds are also genuinely Vietnamese, using Vietnam's own Trung Nguyen coffee.

First of all, the food is great. We usually make it a point to go there once a week. However,
last May 11, 2016 while we were having some drinks and enjoying our food, there was this
waiter named Cross who rudely asked us our last orders. We we completely stunned because
it was only 8:30 PM and there was another couple right next to us still having their dinner We
asked him if he knew what time it was and that it was still too early. He didn't even acknowledge us and just walked away. And while at it. we think all the male waiters are really rude and lazy
as we still have to remind them our orders every once in awhile. Anyways, I can commend
all the female waitresses there. I hope management would take notice and action as we really
intend to return but not in the near future.

I wasn't expecting much honestly. I thought it would be just another restaurant. But wow I was pleasantly surprised. My family and I really enjoyed our meal here. The service was super fast and friendly. The food was flavorful, fresh and tasty.

MUST ORDER: Bo Luc Lac - melt in your mouth cubes paired with fried basil leaves. Match made in heaven, texture and taste at its finest.

Honorable Mentions - Pomelo & Shrimp Salad - we ate all the lobster crackers until we realized you're supposed to use them as a base for the salad. Woops. But this is a fun and creative take on the typical pomelo salad. Boy it was so good.

Grilled LemonGrass Chicken Rice Noodle Bowl (forgot exact name)- large bowl is good for two hungry people and three not so hungry people. The grilled chicken is tender and not at all dry!

Not a fan of the goi cuon wrapping which was sticky. Reminded me of mochi. The rice noodles they use are also too thick for my taste. i will live with it. I know some people prefer this.

Vietnamese run with the parentals.

On the table
🔹goi cuon (fresh shrimp & pork spring rolls) - fresh tasting and very filling since there was a lot of noodles. Should have requested for vinegar, not a fan of peanut sauce
🔹goi buoi tom thit (pomelo & shrimp salad) not a fruit person either so went for the shrimp and crackers
🔹pho bo (beef noodles) - comforting and real tasty
🔹ga nuong (lemongrass chicken) - this was ok
🔹bo luc lac (beef with basil) - very tender and flavorful, my fave from this meal
🔹ca basa nuoung ngu vi (grilled fish in garlic spring onion oil) - you could taste the charred/burnt parts. Drowning it in the sauce of the chicken didn't help either

Although most of the dishes were good, they weren't that great for me to make this my go to place for Vietnamese food. Prices are a bit high considering the serving portions.

I really loved our experience at their Perea branch and told my officemate that I wanted to have their pho again. Our boss was still on leave that day so we took the opportunity to go out and have lunch somewhere.

I ordered their fresh spring roll, and tried their chicken pho. My officemate got the beef pho, and their green mango salad.

I was so disappointed with the spring roll because the wrapper was too sticky! We had a hard time separating the rolls and picking it up from the plate. 128557

The chicken pho was really good though! Perfect for when you want a light and healthy meal. It's better when you squeeze the lime into it. But if you don't like the zesty taste, it's perfectly fine if you don't use it. 9786

One weird thing about this restaurant.. It's colder when you sit outside the restaurant. Hahaha!

Service was good. I think they just need to teach their staff again how to prepare their rice paper.

I expected a lot about this restaurant, but it disappoints.

Spring roll is okay, my sister and I loved the peanut sauce.

Chicken curry, it was sweet. Is it really like this? I don't hate it but I don't love it either.

Beef Noodles, it made my sister really full, the taste though is ordinary.

Warm pandan cake, it was like the traditional kuchinta. It was served warm with coconut milk. It was a nice dessert.

Ba noi's food are ordinary for us but it made us left the restaurant with big tummies. 128522

I've been missing my trip to Hanoi and the food so we decided to have lunch at Ba Noi's.

I like the rustic feel of the restaurant's design and it reminded me of the caphe's in Hanoi.

Goi Cuon - shrimp and pork spring rolls
One order is enough as an appetizer for up to 6 people. The roll is packed with vermicelli noodles so the roll is sort of fat. Their peanut sauce works really well to give flavor to the roll.

Pho Ga - Chicken noodle soup
The pho was alright. It's not as good as the pho from Vietnam mainly because the soup stock lacks impact. It's not bland but it's not flavorful either.

Bun Cha Gio Thit Nuong - dry noodles with fried spring rolls and grilled pork
The homemade sauce is sweet and tangy but try to ask for more if you can for the large order. The spring rolls and the grilled pork are flavorful enough so eat them together with the noodles.

Bo Luc Lac - stir-fry beef
5 stars for this. Flavorful and tender beef cubes.

Bonus: VIETNAMESE DRIP COFFEE 10084

The fresh spring rolls had more vermicelli noodles than the shrimp and veggies -- fillers.

The beef pho's soup broth was lacking in flavor, not hot enough when it was served. The bean sprouts they served looked wilted already.

My family celebrated Father's Day lunch here earlier. We were the most in a table dining and the place was packed. Thank God we made reservations because the place is smaller compared to the one in Kapitolyo and so much people were lining up to dine here too.

Anyway, we had so much on the table. (The photo probably shows only 1/5 of the total food we had) Haha everything was so good! Pick anything on the menu and I guarantee that you will enjoy it! 100841008410084
