Pho Bo and this dish (forgot the name but its like pares with star anise) is really good. Size is big. Good ambiance but bad customer service, we are still eating and the crew started to mop the floor where we are seated. I understand that we came near closing time and the need to make "diskarte" for them to come home early but sana they don't sacrifice the customer experience. Honestly, up to now di ako makaget-over, I'm still thinking if I'm going to give them a second chance.

Just a week or two and we are back at this restaurant. It was a wet Sunday and it was just after hearing the Wors of God in our Church. My boy wanted Mama Lous' Mac and Cheese so I had to buy there. But us, we wanted Vietnamese food. So Ba nois itvis. I ordered the grilled chicken Ban Mhi, chicken noodle soup, the chicken curry, my wife ordered some kind of leafy vegetable and fried spring rolls and for deasert pandan roll or cake.

The griled chicken ban mhi was really good. There was the crunch with every bite. Chicken was not tipid either. Vegies were there also. Good Ban Mgi but I think Pho Hoa's is better just a notch. The noodle soup was alao good, tamer than Pho Hoa's which my wife enjoys. I had to put all the chilis given and sriracha to give it a more fiery taste on this cold wet weather. The chicken curry and spring rolls were just a repeat from our previous visit, so I guess its going to be a staple when we go back here. The veggies was okay, carnivore in me. Oh yeah, we also ordered crispy noodles which was also good with a sweet twist.

Again, we will be back!

First time to eat at this place. Was very curious since they had pictures of their food posted in their window. We ordered spring rolls, pork riblets, chicken curry and pandan cake for dessert. The spring rolls were okay, same usual taste of spring rolls I have tried. The riblets were also good. It had a spicy kick at the end. The chicken was quite different. First time I ever had curry that was sweet tasting. The pandan was ewally sticky and a good way to end the meal. The waiters could bemuch more attentive. Price wise I think its a tad steep for the portions being served. But I think the taste was there. Definitely will be back to try their pho and ban mi sandwiches.

Satisfied my pho craving at Ba Noi's today! Split a large seafood pho (P410), and the broth was really really really good and hearty. 128149 I was super shocked at the serving size, cuz even if it was split, it was still really big!

I just wish they paid more attention to both the quality and quantity of the seafood. It seemed as they were scrimping on it (small shrimp and squid), and parang overcooked sila since the texture was rubbery.

Ordered the dry rice noodles w/ fried spring rolls and grilled pork/Bun Cha Gio Thit Nuo. Generous serving for their P250 bowl. I liked the dish, the sauce though is kinda sweet (for me anyway).
The iced Vietnamese coffee (P110) is good! It's strong but me likey 128521128076.

Ba Noi's >>>>> Pho Hoa.
Must try their long-ass garlic bread. One of the best I've ever tasted.

Our failed attempt at dining in Silantro led us to Ba Noi's...128513

We got our usual fried spring rolls and I ordered the iced Vietnamese coffee... We also wanted the Banh Mi with garlic butter... For our main dosh, we shared the ga nu'ong, which is chicken marinated in a lemongrass soy mix served on top of vermicelli noodles...

Spring rolls were good, but the coffee was a far cry from Di Cofi's Cafe Sua Da... It has now become the standard for Vietnamese coffee for me... We both didn't enjoy the chicken dish that much... But the Banh Mi was pretty good!128516

Super sulit student meal for P120! You just need to present your school ID. Promo is during weekday from 10am - 3pm, if I remember correctly.

Lemongrass iced tea was too sweet though so I had to dilute it. 128513

I'm glad this place offers cheaper food options for students. 128077🏼 Good job!

I love their fresh spring rolls and pho bo. Their pomelo salad was great, too. Not a fan of their deep fried catfish and the grilled chicken dish...nothing special.

I thought their fresh buko is quite expensive at 110php/pc. All others are reasonably priced. Sulit ang 195php fresh spring rolls, imho. 128521

Service was a bit slow and the food was served by batch. I dunno if it's because of the lunch hour rush and father's day lunch combo. 128529

4 stars because of their fresh spring rolls and phò. 128513

#latepost

Had dinner with two cousins, one of them suddenly so health-conscious recently... He insisted on dinner at Ba Noi's, where he enjoyed the Pho... As for me, I tried the Bun Cha Gio Thit Nuong, essentially fried spring rolls over noodles... I liked it, a slight difference from my usual order, but still the same...128513 Of course, I ordered the iced Vietnamese coffee... Liked my "healthy" dinner...

Ordered their grilled cream dory in garlic-spring onion roll. Love the taste of its sauce. It was my first time to try a cream dory cooked with such kind of sauce. Didn't taste like fish at all! Their afternoon brew coffee was also go-oood! 128076🏼

Ba Noi in Up Town is not as good as the one in Kapitolyo. Or maybe because I've tried legit vietnamese food when I went to Vietnam. I don't know it was disappointing. :( But it was still ok, it just didnt turn out as I expected. zao was better.
