First lunch in baguio..real plan should be at 50's diner (waiting) just beside of this restaurant. They serve filipino dishes so we ordered karekare-nutty and creamy. Pakbet with bagnet- you can taste the veggies are fresh because of its natural sweetness. and backyard chicken-dry:( What i didnt like about the place has mosquitossssss:(((

People just probably dine here because of the unreasonable queue at 50's Diner but I think it's underrated. They serve good Filipino dishes here! The Bicol Express wasn't that spicy so everyone in the family got to taste it. It was definitely a hit! Also the Pork Binagoongan, ughh so crispy and not too salty. Although the sinigang was not that sour, I think you can request it to them. The service was fast too! Or maybe because there were just 3 tables occupied at that time but still! 128517 not to mention the beautiful interior 128525

Great place and great food! We found this restaurant unexpectedly because we were supposed to try 50's diner, but due to the long queue, we've decided to try Backyard -- and we were not disappointed at all!

They have a very chill "hipster" vibe kind of place. Accommodating staff and really good food! We tried out the Kare-kare, Pork binagoongan and Chicken (All of which tasted really good esp. the kare-kare!)

And for dessert, we tried their "heavenly" Apple crumble pie. I said heavenly bec. it really is! lol It has a touch of cinnamon and a really good crust.

Kudos to Backyard!! 128079128079128079

Their service was really bad!! I wasn't able to eat because they forgot my order..twice!!!!I think their staff at that time was unorganized.

My sister ordered their chicken ala kiev.Although it tasted nice it would've been better if it was not so dry. Their fries was a mixture of potato and kamote (sweet potatoes) I'm not sure if that is a plus.

The things I almost liked about this place was their interior design.

Oh and they serve their iced tea frappe (yah 'iced tea frappe') in jars so that's a plus.
