We were too clingy a couple of weeks ago that we met up for lunch almost everyday. 128514 One of those days, lunch was at Bacolod Chicken Inasal in Greenbelt. Our go to place for cheap meals. 128517 They are usually full during lunch so Julie went ahead of us to reserve a seat.

I had inasal na paa (chicken thigh) with plain rice. I wanted to avoid too much oil so I requested them not to brush it with chicken oil. But then, I realized it was different without it. It tasted like ordinary grilled chicken. No flavor at all. The chicken was also a bit dry. 128542 My fault anyway so lesson learned, wag magpaka-healthy. 128514

Julie J had the same order but she returned hers to the kitchen because the inside still has blood. Yina M had garlic rice and two sticks of chicken gizzard which looked delicious!

Service still as slow as before. Inattentive staff too. 128528 Place is too small and cramped. You can barely move coz you might hit the person sitting next to your table.

Rainy days are here again! We've craved for some 'mainit na sabaw' for lunch and in this part of town, Bacolod Chicken Inasal is the only place you can get original batchoy! This batchoy goes best with the usual inasal favorites - paa and pecho. Just wish they would offer offer unli rice.

It's #NBErrday for me Yina M Kirby G and Julie J. As usual, we can't decide where to eat today. After throwing several suggestions, we agreed to eat at ChiBax. 128514

Service was a bit sucky. Orders took a long time to be served. Kirby arrived later than us yet he got his food first. 128527 We were seated outside so it was also hard to call the waiter's attention.

We all got chicken inasal (pecho/ paa) with rice. Julie also ordered Aligue Pasta which she obviously loved. I dunno but the chicken looked smaller than what they serve in Glorietta. Nevertheless, chicken was well-marinated and the meat itself was still juicy. 9786

As the only chicken Inasal resto in this side of town, Bacolod Chicken Inasal is usually jampacked during lunch. Favorites are the usual paa and pecho. Their batchoy is also really good and a perfect match for your inasal. Fruit juices are kinda expensive (@P75), hence i usually opt for their bottomless iced tea (@P55). I have noticed the difference in size of their chicken compared to other Inasal restos but the authentic flavor will make you forget the size difference.

Ps. Photo taken from Bacolod Chicken Inasal's poster :-)

Decent enough place. I actually like chicken cooked Bacolod-style and I've tried this resto's version of the fame chicken and liked it but this was in their other branch in Paseo. The one I tasted here was a bit dry.

Store needs to look at product consistency.
