Meeting place were supposed to be in Starbucks, but then JP and I were kind of hungry and looking for a bbq station to eat, until we found ourselves dining in Bacolod Inasal. 128077

I ordered the Chickito, it's a bbq chicken meat and I find it okay. When youre just into eating something before going for a ride, and you dont want a heavy stomach, this is one for you.

Had our dinner here before going to Baguio last Friday night. I had the "Mahaba ang Buhay" meal set that comes with Daing na bangus, a cup of rice, Langka with monggo something and maja blanca. All of this for 200 bucks only!

The food was good especially the fish. I don't eat langka but they seemed to like it. The maja blanca was okay for me. Service was okay and so as the place.

Had the Molo soup, Chicken inasal and tortang talong. For some reason the food taste better than i rember them. This is not the first time I ate at Bacolod chicken but this was the most enjoyable one.

All in all, service is quick.
Food is average.
Its the bangus lumpia ni mom that stands out.
Aside from its unique name it taste uniquely good!

Good ilonggo food. Personal favorites: batchoy and sisig rice (spicy and yummy, can't get enough of it!)

Had the pansit molo soup. This was way better than what I had a couple of weeks ago at Sarsa. At half the price!

Ordered sisig with java rice for lunch at a price of P113. Serving of sisig was small though. Sisig from Gerry's Grill tastes 20x better 128516 but it was okay, I guess.

We had some guests over from Capoeira Brazil in Shanghai, and they wanted to go eat some Filipino food after training. Since this was the most familiar Filipino food place nearby, we decided to take them here (it never occurred to me that there was a Dencio's nearby until I left the parking lot)

Surprisingly, they were game to try so many things like sisig, kare-kare, laing, and dinuguan! So we had two of each, plus of course inasal and chicken liver!

The sisig was okay, kind of chewy, but I like mine crunchy and a little more toasted. Not terrible, but not great.

The laing also tasted okay, but a little watered down. I think there might have been more sauce than gabi leaves.

I skipped out on the dinuguan and kare-kare. because our guests were enjoying them so much, but I did have the chicken, which was great! Even the chicken liver had some of the sweet, smokey, barbecue flavor!

Finally, we had some dessert, which is like their version of suman with mango pieces and vanilla sauce. I actually liked this quite a bit. It's almost similar to the sticky rice and mango desserts in Thai restaurants.

Overall we paid about 375 each for 6 people, which is pretty good for the amount of food we got to eat. We even had some Cerveza Negra! My recommendation if you come here, would probably be to stick to their chicken inasal (and related chicken parts if you're into that128513) and maybe some dessert. 128020

I should've rated this experience with 1 star only, but I have considered how attentive the servers were to my requests, so.. 2 stars for them 128521

I ordered for the GO 6 set (Pancit Molo + Pandesal + Turon). After a short while, food was served. It was good - tasted very Pinoy!

However, I was being disturbed by flies while eating. At first I tried to shoo them away but they kept coming back. Some of them even got into my bread 127838, as I've been saving it for last. Oh mhennn!! I quickly asked for it to be replaced, and good thing they did. So I got a hot one fresh from the kitchen. I trust that they didn't reheat the "flied bread" ..or else.. 128514128517128518

Even though I have forgiven them, the experience will never be forgotten. Eww. Too serious for a conclusion huh!!

P.S. Sorry, no photo.

Stayed here for dinner and drinks with colleagues. They have so many tables, meaning it's good that they have readiness to accommodate a lot of customers. Their beer bucket of 5 bottles is worth it, especially that I like Tanduay Ice.
The platter of cheese sticks and fries for pica-pica is a perfect partner for drinks.
Staff are always alert, friendly and service-oriented.

A fairly popular and cheap place to eat and drink with the barkada after work. Quite similar to JT's Manukan but I find their chicken to have more flavor and its cooked better. They also have one of the most delicious Pork Sisig i have ever had in a long time! Best to try on weekdays because this place gets packed on weekends! 128540

Sisig! -- I would go anywhere for sisig!

So.... my friend and I were looking for a place to chill and hang out, pass time, then we found ourselves at Metrowalk. When we arrived, there were already a lot of people, and we found seats outside Bacolod Chicken Inasal.

We ordered a bucket of beer for P198 (cheaper than the others priced at P260), and pork sisig which was gorgeous! Absolutely one of the best I've ever tasted.
