Bacolod Chicken Inasal could be the most successful franchise of Inasal to date. Currently they are 15 stores strong and still looking into expand operations. I think their formula is found on their consistency and quality of food at an affordable price. One may not be able to distinguish the difference of the original one made in Bacolod and having one here in Manila.

On this trip I had my usual slab of Pecho (chicken breast). It’s tasty by itself, no need for extra soy sauce or chili oil. The meat is not greasy and its juiciness still intact in every bite. I also enjoyed a small serving of Vegetable Kare Kare for just Php 99.50. The sauce has enough peanut to make it delectable. For dessert, Maja Blanca gave a refreshing sweet finish to this quick lunch.

Thank God for the good weather and safe run. Ralph finished his first 21km - sub 2.30 and I'm one proud wifey here. 128079128523128525

We took our breakfast here since it was the only place with available seats that time. We ordered set meals and hubby opted to have the Sarap ng Buhay meal - chicken inasal, eggplant salad, garlic rice served with a glass of iced tea and buko pandan. Obviously, it tastes good for Ralph that made him order extra garlic rice and 2 fried eggs.

I took the other set meal (I forgot the name) and it consists 2 chicken adobo, hard boiled egg, plain rice served with maja blanca and a glass of iced tea. The chicken adobo was okay, not too salty and tastes like my mom's adobo.

Our desserts were served after our meal so it was not on the picture. My maja blanca was okay. Sweet and perfect partner of Adobo, perfect pantanggal umay.
