Got super hungry last time at SM Megamall so before I head to DFA for my passport renewal, I had my quick lunch alone at Bacolod Chicken Inasal since I was craving for chicken.

I would have loved to order their inihaw na manok but I was enticed by their chicken adobo with egg and maja blanca dessert! I don't know why but I really enjoy food with eggs nowadays. I forgot how much it costed but it was less than 200 bucks, maybe a 150? Sulit!

The adobo was very tasty especially they smothered garlic all over the chicken and the rice which I really, really like. I'm such a garlic lover! The maja blanca was kinda bland but at least I don't need to buy an ice cream anymore afterwards. So less star for that.

I sat outside while happily doing some people watching. Service was fast and the staff were accommodating amidst the number of customers they had that time.

Boneless Bangus meal with Iced Tea and Maja Blanca -

Bangus? Too small. Not flavorful. Fishy.
Iced Tea - okay.
Maja - taste is okay. Typical, but a little grainy.

Not worth it.

Note: The manager (I think) was so irritating. With a very loud voice, she is talking to one staff. Maybe she's discussing staff's wrong doings. Hay!

Wanted to have soup as it was a cold day. I decided to have La Paz Batchoy for lunch at Bacolod Chicken Inasal. I've always liked their La Paz Batchoy. However, the soup was bland on this particular visit, at this branch. The Robinson's Forum branch's batchoy is normally pretty tasty. It also took them quite a long time to serve it. I got chicken inasal to go with it, and the chicken leg had some slightly pink parts.

All in all, quite a disappointing visit :(
