After our Calaguas island adventure with mom and my sister, we stopped over here to wait for our bus schedule back to manila. Other's surfed while we eat to kill time and of course check the beach out 128513

Their food was so-so so I didn't bother taking a photo, their service was blaaaah waiters won't even notice us we only ordered shakes and burgers but it took them a looooong time to serve it. You know it's too long when you're already done checking the place out and snapped hundred of photos for your instagram account. I didn't notice the time because i enjoyed taking photos sa resto nila. There interior is nostalgic-ish. They even have a vintage table football and retro designs on the wall. And their couches are diner style.

Overall the place was okay, will not recommend to eat there if you're really hungry na kasi it will take timeeeee 🕐
But the ambience was nice, very maaliwalas and windy because the beach was just in front of them. And the interior was retro style 128522

We had an impromptu trip to Daet a couple of weeks ago when my grandpa passed away. I haven't visited the province for 15 years so I was also kinda excited for a mini reunion with my cousins and other relatives.

Since we can't stay at my grandpa's house, we had to look for an affordable hotel or resort. My cousins suggested Bagasbas Lighthouse since they've already stayed here before. Good thing they have rooms left even if we booked just two days ahead.

The resort was just right across Bagasbas Beach. They also have their own restaurant (Catherine's), a KTV bar and swimming pool.

We really won't be staying here the whole day so we opted for the cheapest room available, the Standard Trailer Room. They would require you to deposit 50% down payment upon confirmation and the balance to be settled before check in. The trailer rooms were basically container vans which they turned into small rooms. We had two single beds (you can also request for a twin bed), a table, mini fridge, tv, and aircon. The comfort room was clean and quite big (maarte ako sa CR when traveling 128517). Not bad for P1,900+ per night huh. It also comes with a free breakfast. Since we always had to leave early, we requested that they serve it at 6:30am instead of 7am. 9786

Their deluxe trailer room was bigger, and the CR has its own bath tub. They have standard rooms and family rooms available as well.

Don't forget to bring a bug spray otherwise you'll end up having lots of insect bites. Place was surrounded by plants so expect to see frogs outside especially when it starts to rain. I saw 9 while on my way to the resto. Yes, I counted 'em. Waaah! 128056
