Hubby went out with his bandmates earlier today for a jam and ate here in Bagneto. He said that it was so good but expensive. But it's new to us so he bought one for me to try at home.

>> packaging is chaka. Who still uses styro? It's bad for the environment and food looks cheap. Yung tapsilugan sa kanto namin uses paper containers, P50 lang yun ha. Also brittle transparent plastic spoon and fork. Hated it.

>> P150 for a single serving of sisig, mahal nga. It's good but not mind blowing. Hindi match ang presyo sa lasa. Walang onions at konti lang ang siling haba. 128078

Masarap naman siya pero kaka-turn off ang presyo. Siguro max price for this is P100. Mas malaman kaysa sa Sisig Hooray but I personally prefer Sisig Hooray over this, kahit na oily pa siya.

A favorite among the establishments in Maginhawa's Z-Compound, Bagneto takes the Ilocano classic to a new level. Not only does it serve bagnet the traditional way, but it is also innovative with the different dishes that can be made from it. One can have it as a rice meal or a la carte, with selections such as sisig, binagoongan, and even kare-kare! On a budget? Prices here are very inexpensive considering the quality. Just be reminded that this joint is situated in an entirely al fresco compound.

Bagneto! The new superhero in town..with a taste!

If ever anyone in Manila that is originally from Ilocos and misses the taste of Bagnet, this is the closest! Nothing negative about Bagneto but of course original bagnet has it's own distinct taste and from the other restaus that are trying to copy, this is the closest you could possibly imagine! How was I able to say this? After a few Bagnet-filled duty at the hospital, I am already accustomed to it's personal taste. And I'm drooling over the church's laptop (because there's an ongoing pastor's meeting here--I'm no pastor, I'm just the Multimedia person today; and I'm using my personal phone for this review--incase anyone reading is thinking I'm making use of the church's property).

This can be found at Malingap's Z Compound, it's found at the almost-back end of the compound and is not impossible to miss because of the cute superhero piggy logo.

This food store offers 4 varieties of Bagnet (aside from the plain). They have Sisig, Kare-Kare, Binagoongan and BicolExpress versions (if I'm not mistaken).

I've tried four: Plain, Sisig, Kare-Kare and Binagoongan.

The Plain was my favourite. After a few times of munching this deadly food, this is Liempo x 5. :) It is crisp into perfection (this is how they normally cook their Bagnets), sorted into yummy parts and all. Then I tried Kare-Kare for a change, also a yum! Binagoongan, tastes fair enough (I'm not much of a fan of bagoong) but still good. Then my NOW FAVOURITE: Sisig. For me it's like a cross-breed of Liempo, sisig and bagnet into one. Drools. I personally like Sisig aside from liempo and bagnet so I like this much :)

Got nothing left to say! Just head over to Malingap and locate that red Z sign atop of an opened gate and walk over to the back end and look for Mr. Bagneto. Enjoy :)

PS. Their IG account replies over to your posts. And he's fun to exchange comments with! Teehee. :">

To Bagneto: Hi crush!

Finally got to eat at Bagneto!!! 128079128079128079128525128525128525

The bagnet with rice was amazing! My classmates and I didn't get to eat at the bench tables at Bagneto but apparently it's OK to bring food to other dining areas, as long as you're buying something there, I guess.

One of the best bagnet that I have ever tried. I think the secret is the thin slices of pork belly that they use. Everything is deep fried to perfection - that point where the fatty parts become really golden and crispy. The temptation is to eat the whole slice of bagnet - skin, meat, fats and all. Yes, very evil indeed just like the comic book villain that this restaurant is named after. Bad but good.

P.S. It's Magneto, in case you haven't figured it out yet.

110 bucks for an order of bagnet (without rice) is an amazing deal since you will be getting perfectly-cooked and very crispy bagnet slices. Enough said 128588🏻128076🏻128077🏻

Cheap but muy delicioso! Crunchy bagnet for php110 bucks. It's not fine dining but gets the job done when you're craving for a filling meal. We ordered everything on the menu (since they only offer 5 items): bagnet, kare-kare, Bicol express, binagoongan and sisig! All were good. 128521

Im not sure what this is called or how much it is because my H ordered it. Over 20 mins to get the pizza.

Diced bagnet, cheese, pesto and tomatoes on a thin crust. Really, really good. You could actually taste the bagnet and it was a pleasant change from the usual bacon on pizza.

I would give it a 5 if it had a little more bagnet128523

First of all, i will still call the location Maginhawa even it's already in Malingap because convenience.... Haha

The bagnet was so good although it wasn't served hot. If you're a heavy eater, you won't probably get full with the bagnet meal alone. But trust me, it's worth a try!

i was in the area so i took the opportunity to try bagneto. the boyfriend and i arrived around 3 pm and there's a number of people at the z compound already however bagneto was still empty. we ordered bagnet and binagoongan. i asked ate how long it will take for our food to be prepared, she said 10 min. i was okay with that. the thing i didn't like was they asked for a smaller bill when we were paying. common you should always have change if you are in the food business. our orders arrived after 5 min. it was expected coz we were the only customers.
i had the bagnet and it was thin and crisp just the way i liked it. the pork slices were just right to avoid the umay factor. the bagnet came with sarsa and sukang iloco with tomatoes and garlic. both complimented the bagnet well. the serving was just right, coz really this is too much putok batok na! i tasted the boyfriends binagoongan and it was good too. imagine bagnet slathered with bagoong. the bagoong used was not too salty and i liked it.
i will definitely come back to try the bicol express and karekare. for now, i think i have already reached my monthly dose of fried pork goodness.128077128077128077
