Fresh huge sweet strawberries! That's what's on this strawberry shortcake at BCC's coffee shop. The pie was really good but if I'd have my own design, I would have less of the pie and more of the fresh strawberries! 128517128540

If I remember it right, this shortcake is just a hundred pesos. You don't get these in your local coffee shop in Manila and I do wish I had more of this during our short stay in the City of Pines.

Did you know that you can get these famous and delicious Raisin Bread and Banana Bread from Baguio Country Club without traveling for 5-6 hours? Yes, they have stall inside Heaven and Eggs Glorietta 4. For Php145.00 and Php245.00 per loaf you can taste the Best Raisin Bread and Banana Bread, respectively. 127838127820

We always had our business conference here and never did I experience any trouble. So when I was bileted here for business overnight, I didn't expect trouble...

1. I was wearing Fit Flops (not flip flops) and went to Raisin Bread Café to order raisin bread for snacks. My attention was called because "no slippers were allowed". I said I was just going to buy and take some out, but the lady who approached me wouldn't allow it. So I had to go back upstairs to my room and just order via phone. Which took them 30 minutes to bring up an order of raisin bread.

2. Today, I decided to go down for breakfast at 9am. I was stopped because apparently, breakfast today was only until 8:30am due to stakeholder's meeting. Well, why wasn't I informed then?! They said that they distributed flyers. Obviously I didn't get any. And they could've informed me when I was checking in yesterday! So much hassle!

3. They then ushered me to Raisin Bread Café for my breakfast but it was only limited to their set menu. So disappointed because I really wanted tocino and tapa for breakfast, which they had during the breakfast buffet.

So far, the negative things just keep piling up. Making me want to shorten my stay here. Will probably leave right after breakfast.

Boo! BCC 128169128169128169128169128169

Baguio's only AAA Resort. Have worked here before. Never gets old! It's exclusive to its members only! But if you know a member of the club, let them endorse you so that you can experience and use the amenities and facilities of the club!

Always a pleasant stay in BCC! Although the structures are old, I like the vibe cause you really feel like you're in Baguio. You really get to getaway from the hustle and bustle.

Food is good! Service is also good as always! 128076

Spent the weekend at Baguio Country Club with the family last week. 128107128109 Mom booked a suite with two bedrooms and a connecting living room/ dining area and balcony. Perfect place if you want to unwind. Very comfy and relaxing. 128524 Our room was facing the other side of the country club so I kinda missed the nice view of the golf course. 9971

Superb service from their staff too. They were very attentive to all our needs. We had problems with poor wifi signal when we arrived and they sent their IT guy right away to install a router inside our room. 128077

They are renovating certain areas right now so expect some portions to be closed.

YOLO experience...Best banana bread I've ever tried! Craving for more pero bukas na siguro. Refrigerate muna para mas masarap hehe!

Really thankful for BCC to have outlets here in the south. Got the banana bread for P200 at the ATC's weekend market area at the Activity Center. On regular days, these should be available at Tempura near the cinema area.

One of the most healthiest bread I've tried. Its a wheat bread that tastes like a normal bread and it has nuts on top. Goodah 127838

Luck doesn't come too often in a day, a week, a month. Or perhaps months, for that matter.

We were supposed to go to Baguio earlier this year but due to certain circumstances, we were not able to visit the summer capital.

But lo and behold. Today, we are truly blessed! We finally had our taste of lovely Baguio. We didn't get to smell the fresh pine scent while driving amidst the winding Kennon, but tasting Baguio Country Club's raisin bread was much like beaming us up to the BCC and allowing us to savor the rich, thick raisin bread everyone is craving for.

We didn't think twice when we saw a shelf of Baguio Country Club's ever-famous raisin and banana breads at Alabang Town Center, right inside Tempura's store near the ATC Cinemas. A loaf costs P200, half loaf is P100. Not really sure how much it costs in Baguio but hey, that didn't really matter. What really matters is that we were able to savor this special raisin bread straight from the City of Pines, right here at home.

Another friend wanna sponsor my 2nd night .....Feeling special 9786

Baguio Country Club takes pride in its exclusivity. Members enjoy the perks of this place such as golf9971️, heated swimming pool127946, bowling127923, billiards 127921 and the like. However, if you are not a member, you can still enter or stay as a guest if u hv a friend who is a member . And the weather is priceless. During Christmas time127876127876, they sometimes light the fireplace when it gets too cold at night.

Rooms are big ,clean cozy & well maintained .5✳️✳️✳️✳️✳️

Apart from their excellent facilities, this place is where you can find good food. I recommend that you try their delectable pastries; raisin bread and ensaymada. 1278381278491278544✳️✳️✳️✳️

Sumptuous breakfast 4✳️✳️✳️✳️ is served, and they also offer buffet 4✳️✳️✳️✳️ during dinner time. Saturday is usually a steak and wine night .127835127863

Hamada, 4✳️✳️✳️✳️ a Japanese Restaurant inside the country club where the chefs cook on-the-spot and right in front of you is also a must try 9786128077

Location, 5✳️✳️✳️✳️✳️ surrounded by greens & beside Camp John hay.. Quiet, lovely & peaceful 9786128077

Service is par excellence 5✳️✳️✳️✳️✳️

It was my first time to try their Crispy Dinuguan and maaaaaaaaan, it was crispy, alright!!! I enjoyed all of that to the last piece of bagnet. I wasn't expecting a lot of meat, but this was generous. So I had it back-to-back for two lunches.

That was the best part of BCC. I had a terrible time sleeping/resting in my room because some group was having an event 24/7 playing music from Air Supply to some jologs current song... :( I don't know where it was coming from but I bet the whole wing heard it. It was there for the duration of our stay, and all the personnel could say was, "sa engineering po kasi yun.". Andddd, that's it, no apologies, didn't explain WTH "engineering" was... Tsk.

We brought home those huge, heavy raisin breads, which I'm not a fan of, but had to try. Raisin's my enemy, but the bread was awesome siksik. If I could pick out and throw all the raisins they put in there, I'd eat it. But since it's so sulit, sayang yung raisin and I left the bread to be eaten by those who love it talaga.:) (eww, raisin)

Loved the cool Baguio air while dining, btw.

And yeah, no slippers and shorts. :(

Brought home banana and raisin bread as pasalubong. Banana bread was soft and yummy, i find the raisin bread a bit too sweet though it's better than The Manor's 128513

Backlog!!!128513

I spent a couple of nights in BCC this month, as a saling-pusa in the golf tournament my dad was a part of... It has literally been years since I've been back here, but surprisingly, it looks the same... The place is very well maintained, keeping up with the times while maintaining a classic feel...10084

Upon entering the lobby, you are welcomed by the comfy set of chairs by the stone fireplace... The country lodge surroundings immediately puts one at ease, especially after the long and winding drive up the mountain! The majestic golf course beckons a couple of steps away... It's still as lush as I remembered, with the sun making the manicured green look like an expansive carpet that extends as far as the eye can see... The smell of freshly baked goods from the Raisin Bread assaults your senses, tempting you to enter and eat before doing anything else... While there, think of reserving X number of loaves of raisin bread already, in time for your trip back home... These pretty much fly off the shelves, so reserve early on!128512

But BCC has more than just raisin bread and golf to offer its' patrons... I personally love their heated swimming pools-- one kiddie and one lap pool, with an outdoor jacuzzi to boot... I know that Baguio is not exactly synonymous with swimming, but their pools might just change your mind...127946

They have a well-equipped fitness center, which also offers several classes for guests and members alike... A little tip: hitting the gym between 1pm-4pm will slash the fee by 50% for the first hour... 128170

Have I also mentioned that they have a Bowling Alley, which also offers duck pin bowling-- about all I can manage!128540 their bowling lanes are within the vicinity of billiard tables and computers for rent... They also have a kids playroom and a playground for the energetic children in tow... And finally, they have the Green Zone, which is a walking trail for nature lovers, so really there is something for everyone...128516

But the activity I most enjoyed is in the Ladies' Locker Room, which has a sauna and a massage area... I highly recommend their Quintessential Massage- their version of the traditional hilot... I kid you not, it's one of the best massages I've had! P595 for an hour or P695 for an hour and a half... I just about slipped into a massage induced coma after, wherein I opted to sleep rather than eat dinner at the Rose Bowl... 128079 I would rather not say how many times I have indulged in this particular massage during my relaxing stay... 128522

Overall, I opted for a staycation far away from home... I truly needed time to lounge around and do nothing in order to recharge and BCC was the perfect retreat for this purpose!10084128077128512
