Good beer but extremely bad service. still must try for beer lovers. I was looking for the brewmaster but he is available only in the morning. haha! i wonder hoe they do small batches and maintain yeast production constant.

I missed going here the last time I was in Baguio so i made sure to visit during my last visit in September.

The beer selection are varied and you'll definitely find one that is suitable for your taste!

Their Isaw looked very yummy but didn't try it as we just came from a buffet dinner. Maybe next time!

If you do not have a car, might be challenging to find a taxi late at night so be prepared to walk for a few kilometers on a cold night.

The place was a long ride from the place where we were staying at but it's worth the ride.

The beers are good, the pasta is great with the place being serene with great scenery. They have different variety of beers from the percentage of alcohol, bitterness of it and they are precise and well known for their craft.

The staff are also great and the service is superb.

This place will forever remain in my heart every time I visit Baguio. And oh, please don't be fooled by the geotag here in looloo. It's actually along Marcos highway, not Palispis. Just hail a cab and tell the driver Marcoa highway and from the city, it should be on your left, you can't miss it. The whole 3 floors of building belongs to them.

It is indeed a proper brewery. The beers were good, just not a big fan of the small space, siguro I was just expecting too much, parang ang laki laki kasi sa pictures. Though puwede din na marami lang talaga tao. We just stayed at the tasting room.

Great spot to enjoy a great beer (or four 128539) with great company amidst the cool Baguio weather! They've got something for everyone here on tap. Let em know if you want something dark, light, with fruity notes, or strong.... they got it! Go to this place to get a better appreciation of craft beer just by the sheer variety of brews they've put together, each with its own personality. Do note these are all brewed in house!

I had several rounds of different brews. Too much to remember what specifically (my mental notes disappeared with my hangover) so i cant make specific recommendations right now. But again, theres something for everyone so whether you're a serious or casual beer drinker you cant go wrong. 128076

Perfect sidetrip after a chill climb up north. Great beer, ambiance, staffs and of course, free taste of beers! Cheers! You should try Hop Attack or Englishman in New York if you want a bitter beer. The bitter, the better! 128514127867127867127867127866

Their Kraken Stout beer is so good. I love dark beer and this one is one of the best I've had.

The burger though was a great let down for me. I expected so much for a P400 burger but it was just okay. I didn't like the patty. It's not as tender as the usual beef patty. It's a bit rubbery.

I'd still go back here for good beer for sure.

It was just okay. For the prices they charge, my husband and I expected much more. Don't go for the food!!!! The shrimp ala ale was blah. The shrimps were not fresh, the sauce was mmmmm.

Not coming back.

Craft beers are quite popular in the US, according to my friend who lives there. In fact, she wants to open one here in the Philippines. This is a local bar, owned by Filipinos who had lived abroad, learned to brew their own beer and decided to bring it back to their land because our local beers is quite boring. I am saying this out of honesty and sincerity, I love SMB, but eventually, you'll get bored of the same thing over and over again, plus there isn't really special going on on our local brands.

So believe me when I say I am glad a place like this opened. They are located in Marcos Highway, just around 5 minutes from town proper. You'll pass the building where the bar is located on the way up to Baguio.

On the second floor of the building, you'll find their brewing and tasting room casually lined with a number of wooden barrels as makeshift bar tables. I think it was a great idea. They certainly played a lot with the beer brewing theme. Huge glass windows lined one side of the room and long bar tables and bar chairs are free to occupy with a view of Baguio City. There is a long bar where you can stand and ask for a taste of their several concoctions. The bartender/staff was so accommodating.

He really was. He asked if it was our first time and what taste we preferred. Personally, I told him I didn't like tropical flavors so he recommended the Kabunyan beer first. It's a wheat stout American beer. I loved it.

We also tried various Indian Pale Ales like the Englishman and New York, Busy Bee, Anomaly (a tropical flavored beer which I hated) and Kalayaan. We tried the three fruit beers looking for a sweet savor and ended up ordering a glass of Keywheat or Kiwi beer. I also like the Kraken and reserved it for my next glass.

They have a blackboard with the beer menu, ABV and IBU displayed. Happy hour starts from 5-8 PM so you get 20 Pesos off a glass.

Prices are above average. It's not the place to go for your typical barkada night drinking session. It's for people who have acquired taste for beers and people looking for something different. They also have canned beers you can take home. It's just a few Pesos under 1000 Pesos for a six pack. But believe me, if you're in love with a craft beer, you have to take one home. We brought our beers to the roof deck and look at the view!

We also ordered a platter of Beef Nachos. It was one of the best I have ever tasted so far, with flavorful ground beef, tomatoes and onions, topped with melted stretched mozzarella cheese, served with a choice of 2 dips, a red spicy tomato based dipped and a white garlic mayo one. Loved the garlic mayo.

We didn't want to drink a lot, because we planned to head out early tomorrow to visit Cafe in the Sky for breakfast, so another round and I asked for the bartender to "unleash the Kraken". There is an acoustic band for the night, but I don't know if it is an everyday thing. We were there Friday night.

By the way, here are their social sites/accounts if you're interested to have a look.

You can always check my Instagram account for more pictures!

Craving for a super chill night in Baguio? This is definitely the place to be: Delicious craft beer, a rooftop with an amazing Baguio view, plus this very good band (I swear the guy's voice is just 10084️). Kind of pricey lang the beers but take note that they brew their own beers and the price is very much worth it.

Visiting Baguio is always fun. Aside from the cool and fresher than Manila breeze (sad that I have to make it relative as Baguio is turning into another Manila with its crazy traffic and trash problems), I love that I get to disconnect from everything. Yes, disconnect because I literally have no signal at R’s rest house.

On my birthday weekend, we were crazy enough to head to Baguio during Panagbenga Flower Festival. But it wasn’t totally a crazy idea as traffic wasn’t that bad going to the land of strawberries and ube jam. It wasn’t even traffic in the city. Then again, must visit restaurants like Café by the Ruins are packed. *cries*

R2 happened to be in Baguio too that weekend as Grab had a GrabHorse promo in Burnham Park. We arranged to meet up on our last night there and R2 recommended Baguio Craft Brewery.

We agreed to meet up at the brewery around 10 p.m. and when we got there, R2 was nowhere to be found. Apparently, he was still around Hill Station that time.

While waiting for R2, R and I opted to get a glass of beer each. I went with Lagud (PHP170) while R got Rolling Fog (PHP170).

If you're tired, you might not enjoy this place as there are very limited seats inside. There are only about 10 uncomforatble bar stools inside. I guess the owners do not want people lingering around.

After a few minutes, our drinks arrived.

Lagud (5.04% ABV and 20 IBU), which is a strawberry flavored beer, tasted like beer with syrup. I felt that there was absolutely no harmony between the natural bitterness of beer and the sweetness of strawberries.

R's wheat beer, Rolling Fog (6.1% ABV and 21.52 IBU), tasted strange too. It was slighter bitterer than mine.

R2 arrived after a few sips. Undecided, R2 asked for samples.

Whaaat? R and I didn't know we could ask for samples. If we knew, we could have chosen a better tasting beer.

R2 went with the fruit beer called Keywheat (5.04% ABV and 20 IBU) which is a word play to incorporate the beer's flavor, kiwi. And it tasted a lot better than our drinks. It was light and refreshing.

I learned my lesson. Always ask for free samples.

Note: ABV means Alcohol By Volume while IBU means International Bittering Units.

Wide variety of beers. Since I was with the team, we were sort of a huge group. I was able to taste different kinds 127867

But since I'm not a beer person, I wasn't able to really "appreciate" it. The place is cute and ambiance is so chill. I love it here!!!!! 128571

This microbrewery was a first in Baguio. Im an advocate of microbreweries.

The place is located away from the noise if the city center. We arrived in the middle of a raggae peformance of a local artist at the rooftop area. Can you be more artsy than that?

The strawberry beer was the clea winner for me. I think even non-beer drinkers would love it.

Great beer selection! We had their kiwi beer, Hops Attack, passionfruit beer, and Englishman in New York. Food is okay (had the fish and chips and the buffalo chicken wings) but necessary; you might get buzzed before you know it. There's a roof deck where you can drink, and it has heaters. But if it's windy, you'll still freeze to death unless you're dressed right. At least if you're drinking outside, your beer never gets warm. There's an indoor space that's protected and much warmer, but it's a bit small; mostly standing space. Still, it's a great place to go have a bunch of beers to choose from.

Baguio Craft Brewery is easily one of the newer "must" visit places in the City of Pines. On a long holiday weekend though, expect a rather jam packed/SRO venue where you may end up having your drink standing along the even packed open-air corridors.

I liked the fact that prior to getting your brew of choice, they allow guests to sample a shot of the selections. I tried a shot of a number of brews and liked their Rolling Fog and Passionfruit, but ended up with the brews that I really enjoyed.

My Fave brews-- Kiwi, Stout, and Englishman in NY.

Keywheat, Kiwi flavored beer, was DA BOMB! I would have gotten my own glass but I just shared with my sister because I wasn't too much in the mood to drink. I hope I can go back here sooner than later. Or something cool like this opens in Manila. I mean we have flavored beer in Manila but it just ain't as good.

This place is a must for when you're in Baguio! 128076

After having our "dinner" in the night market, we headed to BCB for a good drink... I have chosen Kraken for my drink as i always prefer wheat beer. And since it is brewed locally, i would assume it is the healthy choice... Heheheh. (No one informed us that there were samplers to have a taste of all their flavors.. Or maybe it was taken out already.. Not sure though...)

Loved the taste of Kraken!! Dark with a hint of sweetness. I havent really checked into the details of my drink but sure it was good.

Ambience wise, the interior is great as it is exudes the feeling that you are in a european bar. Cozy as it was mostly made up of wood. The best part is their rooftop area where you can chill out al fresco style. We went there around 10:30pm and the place was so cool! Like figuratively and literally.. As the fog passes you while you are drinking!

Try and experience! 128513

I just hope they could enhance the system on how to take and serve orders.
