You were right Erick B, Balai Pandesal's Kalihim was way too salty for my liking. The bread was a bit tough and dry, and the filling gets crumbly too. I thought it would vary per branch but nope.128078🏼 Sticking to their pandesals and Blue Kitchen or Tinapayan's Kalihim no matter how cheap this costs.

Why does pandesal have that powdery thing on top? Just asking because I saw them placing several batches in the oven and it was just dough...

This is our favorite pandesal, slightly sweeter and softer than the other big pandesal chain... They just have fewer choices of spreads... But no problem when in D.Tuazon! The two are side by side...

The toasted siopao is good too btw!128515 HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR GUYS!!!127881127882128165

Visited a friend and on our way home, we saw this and can't help but to buyyyy!!!!

Why do you have to be so good? Really love the taste of their pandesal. Kahit walang palaman, masarap na masarap na! 128076🏼 But be sure to finish it on the day of purchase (or at most the next day) because no matter how good and tasty their pandesals are, the down side is, mabilis siya tumigas. 128527

Bought pandesal and toasted siopao before going home for pasalubong.
The taasted asado was good but the pandesal was delicious and my wife liked it very much!
Was tempted to make an ice cream sandwich but decided maybe some other time :)

Really good pandesal!128077128077128077

I have always loved Pan de Manila, but this is a pretty strong competitor... My bf actually prefers their bread! Small but packs a punch...10084

But this is my choice-is it really named pan de regla?

Sayang that their Bonito 1 peso Pandesal is already out of stock the time i was here. I just ordered their Medium sized pandesal at 3pesos each which is not super init, they just reheat it in the oven but i guess the best pa din ang Oven fresh bread!

I just enjoyed the store kasi they have varieties of products from Mugs to spreads and all. I got this Chilled Taho too for around 35 pesos!128077

No photos but omg their pan de sal and spanish breads! They're best eaten when warm and they're oh so soft! Great breads here. I prefer Balai over Pan De Manila because their breads seem to have been made with love. Corny I know but I just get this happy feeling after eating one :)

One morning, as I was on the way to work, I saw that this newly opened bakery was swarmed with people, so I decided to try their best seller to see why this is so.

Spanish bread (Php 32), the popular Filipino sweet bread stick typically enjoyed for breakfast or mid-day merienda. This delicious soft bread roll with buttery crumb filling inside is one of my favorite buys from the bakery.

Balai Pandesal is the bread for people who fancy eating pandesal on its own, for its sweet and creamy taste is enough to be eaten bare.

Although smaller in size and volume, it is packed with flavous that keep you wanting more and more. This also explains why people patiently queue to have a taste of Balai's creations.

YAYY! They already have my favorite bakery in their database!

SERIOUSLY GUYS, you should try their pandesalitas (3.00Php/piece)! They increased the price from 2.50/piece to 3.00/piece, but hey, it's still sulit! Very tasty, soft, and not airy (puro hangin)!

Hehe! 100841008410084
