Baliwag Grill has there own restaurant here in BF. From the outside it looks like a massive Building but it has a small Floor area once inside. Attended a baptismal Reception and had the entire air-conditioned Room reserve by the celebrant. Like most establishments along Aguirre Avenue, this restaurant repurposed the once residential area into a sprawling restaurant. The partions between the rooms were an indicator. Food was served buffet style, what's a party without Baliwag's signature Lechon Manok and Liempo. Meat lovers would certainly enjoy this. I certainly did, good thing it was served right off the Grill, thus maintaining the meat's softness and juiciness. The Liempo was good on its own but a Little bit of sarsa added more of that smoky liver taste. Pancit Canton was filled with meat and vegetables, seasoned just right and not too salty. Fish Fillet - served with a butter Herb sauce, soft and also flavorful Piece of Fish. Tahong with cheese was also served per table, i think this was grilled first because of that smoky taste. Fried kang kong with Garlic Mayo sauce - a Little bit oily but very addicting choice of appetizer. Service was quick and friendly. Service water and iced tea was refilled without asking. Ordered a side Chicharon to complete that Baliwag experience.

I'm glad Baliwag didn't venture out to become one of those try-hard fancy Filipino restaurants with crap-tasting food. It's authentic and affordable lutong bahay, just the way I like it. We had Kare-Kare (Php 290) and my favorite Filipino dish, Sinigang na Sugpo/Hipon (Php 245). Each dish serves 3 people and both were great! Super sulit! I love how their food taste like home.

Ambience is quite gloomy, I think it's because of the lighting. And what's up with the cocky closing shift waiters? They're accommodating but they all have this common pa-pogi vibe. Ka-bv. 128514

This is a good place for Filipino dishes.

I love their crispy hito with buro on the side. The fish is very juicy on the inside and deep fried crispy on the outside. This is a must try since I rarely eat hito.

A good place to dine if you crave for Filipino Food and a few drinks. Although I tried their Visayas Ave branch (not listed in looloo yet). Service is okay, food is good. Ambience is chill. Budget is 300 pesos+++ per person for a decent meal.

Baliwag is well known for its liempo, but in the restaurants they offer other filipino favorites like inasal, bulalo, sisig, etc. Great price for the quantity of food. Home cooked meal at its best.

Want to try something different? Order the cripy ulo. If you feel bad eating poor piggies head, you can ask then to chop it up before serving so it looks like cripy pata :)
