The town of Luna, well known stopover for those traveling in the North. It is used to called Namacpacan (original name of Luna). The town is famous for various sites such as the Baluarte Watch Tower (century-old watch tower). Built by Spaniards, the mighty Baluarte was used as watch tower observation post by the authorities impending danger from the sea. Apart from the magnificent structure to beachfront is known for pebble picking, with various shiny colored stones lining up the shores.
Today, Baluarte stands disarray, vertically cut in two because of eroded base and foundation, it's two halves stand through concrete post supports on its sides.
