The food's taste was good although the serving was for sharing and the waiter did not tell us that it was, so we just assumed that it was good for one.. The food seemed dull the moment we ate a third of it..

The salad was just ok, i think they put on too much dressing on our salad.. The curry was ok but it was too hot when it was served(naturally, since it was baked) but when it cooled down it was not enticing for my taste buds anymore.. The fried noodles was not so ok, it was good only for the first two spoonfuls

Their tea was good though.. Im not sure if i'll be back in this restaurant.. I wasn't thrilled with the taste but the service crews were very accommodating, they got that going, which is nice..

This is actually the 2nd time to visit this place after, i think, 2yrs? Anyway, they still have the good service and unique banana leaf plating which is so "asian" but the last time, they had the banana leaf on top of the plate, if i remembered correctly. Hehe.

I also loved their food variety, the asian-ness of the place. Too bad, i can't try all since i can't eat pork and seafood, but it should look delish for others who can 128077

For the price, it's quite affordable but worth it. We ordered the salted fish fried rice and the fish in taosi sauce plus beef rendang. It was all for sharing of 3 persons and just right 128055

The first and second time I ate here, I was really head over heels to their food! But I guess, the third time's no longer a charm for me 128530

I brought my parents here because we were craving for some Pad Thai.I thought they had the best tasting pad thai back then (since I've never tried one from the other restos before), but boy I was so wrong. I was so disappointed with their pad thai that my home-cooked version was way better than Banana Leaf's. 128581I found their Pad Thai salty. I didn't like the flavor of soy sauce on it.

Probably the only saving grace for this lunch was their Roti Canai!!128147128147 Roti Canai with cheese dipped in their curry sauce was a sure winner! I loved every bit of it! Even their curry sauce was the bomb! 128163 Really a must try order here in Banana Leaf.

We also ordered Tilapia Fillet with Malayan Cream Sauce. The cream sauce had mixed with oatmeal. The sauce kinda tasted like baby food. 128118128118 Their hainanese chicken was also okay. Nothing too special though.128020

Curry and Roti Canai.10084️ These 2 are probably the only things that will make me come back for Banana Leaf. Crossing out Pad Thai to this list! 128541

I live pita bread and anything with curry so Banana Leaf I went.

Their branch in Robinsons Place Manila had enough seats even on busy days, service is good, didn't wait long and the staffs were helpful.

I love their pita bread which was served warm and just with the perfect thickness and taste, I ordered chickpea bean paste for dip which is my fave as its always made fresh.

We had noodles and curry for main course, it wasn't spicy since my friend can't eat spicy food. In general, they serve good food and value for money.

We planned of eating in banana leaf for Sunday lunch.

What I love about banana leaf is they use real banana leaf as plate. I think the name of the restaurant speaks for itself

We orders HK style sweet corns and crab soup but unfortunately it's tasteless.

I love there fried rice but I forgot the name because their food is somehow complicated. They have variety of Vietnamese, Singaporean and Thai food so except the name to be unfamiliar haha

We ordered kangkong with a sauce which I can't remember again and it's too salty 128532

The clams and prawns also seems tasteless for me. I just thought of something. What if I have colds what can I taste from it?

I orders the lemon grass tea with honey. I don't know if its really like that cause I'm used that the iced tea looks brown but when they served it. It was light brown almost near to the color of water. Hmmm

But the winner dish for me is the dessert pandanus pancake with coconut toppings. I love the caramel in it and the coconut.

All in all, 3 stars since they serve fast an the crew are courteous :)

What's your fave dish?
