I’ve frequented their Podium branch before they closed then. In fact I celebrated my birthday here already. If you are to have two dishes to try and indulge in, it’s their Malayan Chicken Curry with Potatoes and Deep Fried King Fish with Mango Thai Style.

Well for this visit I had, we tried 4 of 5 desserts. Three were excellent except one. Still a great deal for Php 80 each. I’ll come back for their Sago and Coconut for sure. It has a rich taste of Cocunut, Sago and fruits!

Before this visit, I had not dined here since they were still in their pioneer branch in Greenbelt. Tagal na!

We didn't want to baboy ourselves so we ordered just enough for the 2 of us. We got the gadogado and the lamb rendang. I was excited to try the gadogado as my Lola makes a delicious version of this. It's a far cry from how she makes it, but ok na din. The peanut sauce needs to be nuttier for me. It's a small order too so I'll probably order 2 of these if I decide to try this again.

Lamb rendang was ok. It's a full plate but it has mostly fries garlic and coconut. Almost no sauce at all, which rendang is. But I liked the combination of the veggie and meat we ordered.

They just opened in Aura. I might try them again.

We had an issue with our Nasi Goreng because the rice was sooooo hard we couldn't eat it at all, it seemed uncook. We told a waitress regarding it & I just hated how rude she handled the situation. She asked us if gusto namin ipacook ulit? She got the plate & went to the kitchen. Then when she went out, she told us na same lang daw ung rice being served to everyone & if ipapaluto daw ulit mas titigas ung rice. I couldn't even chew it! Urgh. Na high blood ako, gosh! Then we called the attention of the manager & yeah good thing he handled the situation well. We got a new Nasi Goreng & the rice is definitely different from what was served earlier.

Banana Leaf's Thai Iced tea is love 128151
I prefer sipping this kind of drink over pricey coffee or overrated milk teas (here in our office vicinity).

This refreshing drink is perfect for me. Not too sweet and milky. I wouldn't mind drinking a pitcher of it! ㅋㅋㅋ
