Went here with Dep to use the vouchers we bought from Metrodeal (299php for 500php worth of merch). For 1500php, we sampled the following:

Chicken Satay (168php) — flavor was okay, I'm more impressed with how the chicken was done.

Barbecue Roasted Whole Baby Back Ribs (398php) — What I liked most about this was the meat is so tender, it's falling off the bones. The sauce is semi-sweet just how barbecue should be, but I don't think this was char roasted. No smoky taste nor smell, just bland bbq flavor.

Deep Fried Squid Flavored in Homemade Spicy Garlic (298php) — Serving can feed 2-3, garlic toppings was also of good proportion with the amount of squid but there's no trace of chili in it.

Crispy Seafood Noodles (188php) — I enjoyed this one since it had generous amount of shrimp and crab sticks, I was just probably looking for other 'seafood' article in it since the rest were veggies, mushrooms and kikiam.

Penang Fried Rice with Salted Fish and Chicken (188php) - I'd say this was a feast in my palate! The fried rice was lightly flavored, saltiness of the fish was quickly redeemed by the corn's sweetness, mixed veggies cooked just right it wasn't firm or saggy.

Roti Canai (88php) with Curry Dip (30php) — Thumbs up for me it's plainly good and satisfying.

Iced Tea Tarik (68php) — Their Teh Tarik was good, tea and milk really compliment each other. They could've just added more sweetened milk since drink looses its flavor as ice melts.

Sticky Rice with Mango (80php) - Just our plain 'biko' with ripe mangoes on the side, no more, no less.

Most food are good for sharing, place is clean and very homey with attentive and pleasing staff. They also charge 10% of total bill for service. Good go-to fix for your Southeast Asian cravings.

My family's go to restaurant when we're craving for ~asian~ fudz. Love love this place. The quality of food doesn't change! We've been going here for years already and the food's still very flavourful, delicious and affordable. 128523

two things I noticed though, for their vietnamese iced coffee, they don't serve it using the drip thinggy lol nakahalo na when they served it. Although the taste is the same, naaaliw lang ako sa dripping coffee.... Wala lang... Also their Chicken Satay got bigger????? Still very yummy though!!

Love ya banana leaf don't you evah change 128527

I love this Asian restaurant!!!

We wanted something light but yummy, and the food was great. In the photo: pomelo salad, grilled chicken mango salad and ribs. My favorite was the Laksa seafood soup!

After watching a movie, we all decided to here. Banana Leaf is one of my favorite restaurants.

Nasi Goreng is my kind of fried rice. With an amount of butter, some spices, prawns, chicken and egg, I can live with this. Wala ng ulam ulam.

Their Chicken Satay is better at this branch. I didn't enjoy this at their Greenbelt and Podium branch. Good Job! These tender skewers are served with spicy peanut sauce.

My ultimate favorite indonesian/malaysian dish is the beef rendang. The only 2 places I know that serves delicious Rendang is Banana Leaf and Sentosa in Shangrila. I always enjoy this beefy dish and the rich flavor of coconut together with some spices. Not to hanker for extra rice is impossible.

Malayan Chicken Curry is not something that I would order here. My friends however wanted to try the difference from the pinoy curry. Well, maanghang haha.

The best drink to partner would be Thai Iced Tea.

I will never get tired of Banana Leaf 128516

The Trinoma branch has the fastest service so far. The Promenade Greenhills branch is slow and is best avoided. In terms of food, Pad Thai is always an awesome choice and can. Be shared by two. The chicken satay (4 small sticks, tablespoon of peanut sauce), Tom Yum (only has 2 pcs of prawn swimming in really good soup with mushrooms here and there), & Hainanese chicken rice are also good but the servings are small. Have yet to try other things in their menu, hopefully the rest have bigger servings.

I never expect that I will love this restaurant.

Since Im a self proclaimed "taong trinoma" I always see this restaurant but never had an interest to try it. Until one night that we run out of good place to dine.

the uniform of their staff is very asian. I love the idea of literally eating on a banana leaf. Service is acceptable but needs improvement. Ambiance is okay. Food is above average.

We ordered chicken satay for appetizer. Its flavorful but too small. Price is reasonable for 168php. We also had Malayan beef curry. The sauce was superb. Not too spicy, Generous servings but the downside was their beef was not easy to cut or chew. Good for 3pax for only 288. Next was my ever favorite pad thai with all fairness. Its really delicious! Next to benjarong or can be leveled? A big serving for just 188php. Thai fried rice was also exceptional good for 3pax for only 188php

As you noticed their prices always end with no. 8 a good marketing strategy to appeal that the price is cheap. But for me price is affordable. Since their servings are big plus the food are delicious. Highly recommended asian restaurant on budget.

Celebrated my mom's birthday today at Banana Leaf just because she loves Singaporean food. 128512

First time to try Banana Leaf and the food was good. I like the spring rolls hehe

This review lacks one star because of the customer service.

Worth coming back for. Seriously! Especially those Vietnamese spring rolls. Rele a must-try. I'm not into rice mixed with any other recipe. When I dine I always get plain steamed rice. I must say theirs is good. It will encourage you to eat more cos of its aroma; smells rele good. For those 3 plus some beverage of our choice, 415 php each ain't bad. Single serving is good for 2 persons, except the steamed rice of course 128521

I don't mind eating dinner on a banana leaf., i wasn't expecting it lang.. Hehe.
(I cant remember the last time i eat here if i ate with banana leaf)
Sooo, they offer southeast asian cuisine., mostly thai.

We tried:
127831Chicken curry with potatoes 128077128077128077128077
(chicken chops are too small)
127841Chicken satay 128077128077128077
( i prefer mythai's)

Iam not a fan of thai drinks 127864
but my son insisted to try their
thai iced tea with lemon grass128077

Ended up finishing the drink cause he didn't like it. ( lasang halls candy - yung lemon127819)
I think their buko shake is overpriced (99) cause it was too small and it seems puro ice lang xia... LOL

But i really like their curry even my son too... He had two rice!
He even told me... "mommy masarap!"

Might go back and try their rice specialties with the seafood.

To start if off, did not like the ribs it tasted like menudo. Too much tomato sauce. I ordered the chicken satay, which was good, salted rice was good as well. Ordered the mussels the sauce was great. I loved their malayan seafood laksa it tasted super great a must try. The salad, thai vermicelli salad was heavy it made full in an instant. Might come back for the soup.
