After a long and tiring day I decided to stroll around Ayala looking a place to eat and while searching at Zomato I found a nearby restaurant that could satisfy my cravings and it won't even hurt my pocket lol. I was so curious on trying out Banapple since my friend already ate here back then, so out of curiosity and some research I've finally came to the decision of eating here though Ayala Triangle Park has lots of restaurants in one corner!

Back to the review, seating was convenient (you actually don't need a reservation or maybe because it was night time), accomodating staff, fast service and the food was excellent. I was surprised with the Penne Bolognese being that many! The serving size was for two people but only for P200 and the Gobblin' Goblin Cake was good, I wasn't even able to finish it because I was already full with the Penne Bolognese. I recommend this to everyone who wants big serving sizes at a reasonable prize! Just avoid lunch breaks. The interior looks really nice, it felt like home to me!

Overall rating: 10/10, definitely going back here!! #Halloolooween2016

Their beef salpicao is quite different than the usual... This one's sweet and salty. Haha! I liked it but I still prefer the beef salpicao which is garlicky and salty. 128077🏼

This Apple Caramel Crumble cake is better at second time around 128525
The first time I tried this cake is I chose it to served warm and I did not liked it as it has bitter taste effect from apple. Not until last night, I chose it as it is(cold as it was refrigerated), and it was waaaay beyond i remember it tasted. I love it at this time. 128525 Of course we also had Banoffee pie and as usual, I love it as always 10084127856

I do not know If I am the only one who doesn't know these but there are already Junior Chicken Pies and Junior Tuna Pies available for sale! They have the same taste from the original only difference is the size. Kudos to Banapple for thinking about small eaters! 128513

I am a constant fan of Banoffee pie of Banapple Pies & Cheesecakes which has been my comfort food and my personal unbeatable top pick for cakes. I always tend to compare and it has become my baseline. Price, size and quality wise is so incomparable!

With a price of P115 the size can be good enough for two. And the taste? 128525128525128525 I sooo love the base crust and the caramel blend with banana and chocolate and whipped cream. It is just so sweet and perfect at the same time. 128513

A must-try in Banapple 128521

I ordered the Bacon Fried Chicken Steaks with Milk'shroom Gravy (P205). 3-5 pieces of fried chicken fillets with milk and mushroom gravy were topped with bacon pieces. This viand was served with garlic rice and corn relish.

It was okay. To be honest, the chicken was kinda of bland and the gravy was not really that tasty. I regretted not ordering the Garlic Beef Tapa. 128557 Oh well. 128557

Banapple is the place you go when you want big servings that's still within your budget. I have always enjoyed their bog servings. Their big pies are my favorite! Especially the chicken and I am thrilled that they have a junior version of those savory pies now. Their tapas are great, would be better with sunny side up though their creamy scrambled egg is a good match too. Who can say no to their lasagna roll ups, and this chicken parmegiano. My friend and I decided to just split the one serving to two and it is fitting. It's just of the right amount of serving. Just shows that their serving is really big. Their cakes are great as always! This branch is usually jammed so be sure bring patience with you. But, it's all worth the wait! The staffs are friendly and accommodating too. Always a joy to go back here! Just that I hope they'll have a bigger place to accommodate more.

Ordered pies for takeaway this lunch visit. Place was really hot, no aircon, it's even colder outside. Line was really long and place was packed despite the heat.

Has it been this long since i last visit this place? You have to order at the counter, together with the ones who are ordering for to go then wait to be seated. It used to be seat 1st then order. Waiting time at the cashier/counter is now longer.

Having no where else to go on a Sunday morning here in the triangle, we dined in for breakfast. I am not a fan of their food. I just find the savory food sweet.

I ordered myself a tapa. I had a feeling it was the sweet kind. I wanted to get the salpicao, but an extra egg for my daughter was 60 pesos and I was too stingy to pay for that. As expected tapa was sweet. Konti na Lang dessert na sya. Should've just ordered the salpicao or hickory ribs.

My son got the chicken steak which was ok. He didn't like the corn that came with it because it was to pepper-y for him. H got a crab stick & mango sandwich.

We ordered a very pretty caramel cheesecake for 130 pesos. Sayang, it's made of flour more than cream cheese. I should've realized this before I ordered dessert, with the low price tag there's really no way they can bake a real cheesecake.

How many here loves banapples chicken parmigiano? I dont have to ask this because all of you loves it.

Chicken parmigiano are chicken tender fillets breast encrusted in a parmesan crumb mixture topped with stewed tomato meat sauce and melted mozarella above the chicken fillet. (Served with glazed buttercarrots)

The last time i was here was about two years ago. In my mind sweets are the main thing to go to, so i don't consider food here for meal consumption. What brought me to Ayala Triangle for merienda was my craving for mantao buns at Wee Nam Kee. It's closed for renovation. I ended up dragging my feet to banapple and met up with a friend that works uber close.

Was debating on the burger or a savory pie, but I ended up getting the crunchy chicken fillet and bell pepper sandwich P165 which was their best-seller. True to their word, it IS good and worth it. Filling for merienda so i classified it as early dinner.

My friend ordered the cheese and mushroom pie which was HEAVY, flavorful and buttery. Again, super worth your money at P165. It's served with potato salad which makes it even more filling. It felt like an anvil was shoved into your stomach, but a tasty anvil!

Will keep banapple in mind for lunch or dinner options. Will come back!!!

Aircon wasn't working though :(

Working near Ayala Triangle and being too lazy to walk or too cheap to take a cab to Glorietta, I can no longer count the number of times I ate here. Cheap, big serving, and the taste never change! Ordered something I've never tried Herbed Chicken Rolls with Basil Cream Sauce which I think will be my new staple while my boyfriend had his usual Hickory Smoked Barbecued Country Ribs and we also had our usual Trio of Sausage Fettuccine. Yup we always order 2 entrees and pasta haha. But of course we didn't finish it all. We had some for take out and ate it for dinner.

PS I haven't posted in a while but I always use looloo! Laging sagot sa tanong na 'San tayo kakain?' 'Looloo it!'. 128518
