It's another trip from calaca batangas so it was an opportunity to go for chill time here at solenad. It's typically cooler here than manila especially during these 'ber' months

As we all know, banapple got really fancy interior and this branch is fancy as well. This branch got similar (as other branches) round tables--however tgey got rectangular plastic ones outside which is very good for groupies.

This barbecue ribs was tough to eat. It was such a let down kasi i was already loving the ambience. Tsk tsk.
However i still believe that this is just coincidental.

Oh they have fish din pala but it does not look so appetizing

One late afternoon my daughters and I decided to drive around the city and give them a little tour. I used to work around this area but man i was surprised we got lost! And so we parked at Solenad 3, walked few blocks and my mini me's got hungry so we chose the closest resto, Banapple. My eldest's fave is the Banoffee pie so we didn't skip it. We got the Chicken breast parmigiano which i think is good for 2 peeps, and ordered another home-style meal which is Bacon fried chicken steak with milk'shroom gravy. The place is a bit small, i believe could only accommodated up to 20-30 pax. But they have tables and chairs outside so if you opt to enjoy the green scenery better occupy the seats outside. They are open from 10am to 10pm daily. #50ksummergiveaway

When you eat banapple's cake you feel like its your birthday! Happy to eat at Banapple Nuvali Solenad branch. I can still taste the cake whenever i burp (sounds weird) but its true haha. The ambiance is so nice especially when you look outside the store there are people chatting, green space and children are playing. Its so relaxing to eat here especially after you job hunt in makati. ✅ (hope to be hired real soon) #loolooexplorerpackgiveaway

Banapple is always packed regardless of the branch. Customers seems to like their big servings at an affordable cost.

My first visit to Banapple was probably in 2010 at a branch in Katipunan. It was just an okay experience and since then I can count the number of times I've inside their place. For some reason I can't find the dish that will make me crave for days.

It's the same with the latest visit at their newly opened branch in Nuvali. The Lasagna roll was above alright but it didn't leave an impression.

I also had a cake with strawberry and custard filling and it did't work out for me. The two flavors seems to better off by themselves.

Can anyone recommend a dish?

Decided to try their Hickory Ribs. Waited for about 15 minutes for my order. I was expecting the ribs to be hot off the grill but it wasn't. Meat wasn't tender enough but it was ok. The only thing I enjoyed was its flavor. Exactly the barbecue sauce I wanted. Not the traditional Pinoy sweet barbecue but the American style peppery barbecue sauce.

I still enjoyed my meal in spite of everything. Could have been better if at was a little bit fresh off the grill.
