Seafood in the Tom Yum was fresh. Just the right spiciness.

The only Thai restaurant i like as I am not a fan of thai food. Heck, i almost starve in Bangkok last time because my picky palate doesnt like the taste of their cuisine! This resto i like though. I dunno if that's good or bad in terms if their authenticity. Hihihi

By far, the best no frills Thai Restaurant for me. Bangkok cafe serves authentic Thai cuisine that's easy on the budget. Their dishes always come with fresh ingredients and the taste has been consistently superb from the first time we tried it out.
The Tom Yam (hot and sour) soup's spiciness can be adjusted to your liking, just simply tell the waiter if you want it "mild" or "super hot". We always order the bagoong rice which comes with minced pork and strips of scrambled egg and green mangoes. Two other favorite dishes are Pla Dook Foo (crispy catfish with mango salad) and Porpia Tod (vegetable and vermicelli spring rolls).
Seating capacity is a bit limited so there are times when we have to go elsewhere when the restaurant is full. Delivery is not an option too because they do not have a regular rider who can do deliveries.

We keep coming back for their bagoong rice and spicy mussels. Love their sticky rice with mango too!

Small place. Friendly staff. Thai comfort food. Yup, I've decided that's what I think about this place. When I'm craving for some Thai flat noodles (Phad See Eaw) or some chili green curry (which I love because of the coconut milk) and some stir fried kangkong!
Kuya Anton (he's the chef) loves me too, so that's a plus! 128521

Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the quality of the food never changes. Having just had their spicy kangkong and finishing every last bit, I'm secretly wishing I could eat it everyday. Their service as usual was great. (Maybe because they've got 3 hardworking waiters covering just 8 tables) It's gonna be a while till I find another restaurant that'll be as special to me as this one, gastronomically speaking.

No visit is complete without an order of my favorite Phad See Eaw and it never disappoints! Kuya Anton, for all his years and mastery of the Thai cuisine, serves a menu that appeals to anyone's taste.

Always the best place to be when you're craving for Thai food. Their resident chef, Kuya Anton, has been cooking this cuisine for ages, and has been well-known among students, employees, and residents in the area.
