My regular haircut place since I was in college. They know their stuff and sometimes even know your hair better than you do 128540 and can give recommendations based on your preferences and style.

So if I get the same haircut every month why go to a salon and not a barbershop? Well from experience... most barbers in barbershops know how to cut hair 1 or 2 ways regardless of how your hair responds to the cut. This makes it hard if your hair type isn't cooperative or if your preference isn't within what they normally do.

Never had a complaint so far in Tony & Jackey. Very friendly and accomodating staff, and professional stylists. 128518

Haircut-wise, this place has Korean stylists that know their stuff. They'll ask your preferred style and give you tips on what can also work for you. No complaints with the pampering and efficiency of the cut.

The downside of this place for me is the constant badgering of the staff, from the hair washer to the hair cutter, to buy their conditioner and hair products from Korea. Having worked in customer service before, I know that if a customer has to say NO three times already, it means you are pushing too hard or making the customer irate.

I would've enjoyed my haircut if not that I had to keep declining their offers and told them pointedly that, "yes you've made it very clear my hair is dry so please stop reminding me"

P500 for a cut is not cheap but it's worth it. But if you hate pesky sales people, save yourself the hassle and go somewhere less in your face about product sales.

Haircut time while waiting for the flood to subside. My hair is already looking a bit messy after two months of not visiting Tony & Jackey.

I was torn between keeping my Gerald Anderson look (lelz!128102) or just go for a quick trim. See, my hair belongs to the curly type aka "sponghadong buhok" so deciding to just cut a little of my hair will mean I'll have to iron it everyday. Cutting my hair short on the other hand would enhance my chubby cheeks aka "majubis mode". 128518

In the end, I went for the "majubis na fez haircut" since it's more practical. Ung wash and dry tapos gorah na? Magpa-papayat na lang ulet ako haha. The haircut was done nicely but the ate who washed my hair did a poor job. 128529

Wala nang before and after pic since I'll see you on Saturday for the looloo eatup! Weeee!!!

I had my hair (bangs) done here for P100, I wasn't that satisfied though. But the people here were very accommodating and the service was fast, pati yung pag-gupit sakin sobrang fast. Hahaha!

Oh, and are they supposed to issue me a receipt? I didn't receive any kasi. Na-realize ko lang nung naka-alis na ako at gusto ko sanang bumalik para ipa-ayos bangs ko. Haha!

The Korean guy who did my hair looks like Kim Bum. Pang bawi na rin. Lol 128541

Please don't laugh at me 128544.

I courageously posted my before and after photo just for the sake of looloo. This looloo thing is so addicting dunno why I keep on posting. Anyway, back to hair.

Initially, I only planned to have a haircut. Although, I was already contemplating of whether to do some highlights. I didn't want to have chemicals on my scalp but I also wanted to try something new. So after my haircut, the korean stylist asked me if I want to color my hair. I asked her how much if only to highlight a portion of my hair. She said P500. Then I asked if to highlight the top of my hair, she said P1500. I thought, not bad although I never really tried coloring in a salon before. Then I asked if the chemicals would touch my scalp and she said no. Ok so i said yes. She got surprised and said , now na?
I showed her the photo of the hair that I wanted (ready pala!) and she did it. It took only 30-40 minutes for the whole process. After shampooing, they blow dry the hair and then plantsa my hair pa.

The stylist was so polite. She was multitasking with 3 customers at the same time but she was dear enough to tell me to wait for some more time . She cut very fast and did the cellophane thingy precisely.

I am giving 4 stars in terms of good service. I just hope I don't get any allergic reaction to the chemicals though. 128591
