It was my first time to visit any Tony & Jackey branch though I've been meaning to try for years. Anyway, I finally got the chance to do so because we purchased vouchers beforehand (999php for their hair color & haircut) plus Fisher Mall is literally walking distance from my place.
The salon is very bright, simple yet elegant and it looks neat. We booked an appointment to ensure our slots but the place isn't packed so you guys don't really have to worry and wait that long to be accomodated. Plus, all the people there were soooooo nice. They were all smiles and they even offered complementary coffee or green tea.
I made up my mind on dye-ing my hair purple but that wasn't part of their hair color package so I paid additional 1,500php for their hair manicure service to achieve the color that I wanted. They dyed my roots first to get even coloration then proceeded to the hair manicure (side note: it's actually a hair treatment similar to "cellophane", it adds color & shine, livens up dull hair, etc). They applied purple-colored cream onto my hair, left it for about 30-40 minutes while steam was being emitted from a machine thingy. Then they shampooed my hair. Sadly, the color that i wanted wasnt achieved on the first try so the stylist suggested that we do it again, and so I agreed - and voila, I got the color that I wanted. The treatment also lived up to my expectations, my hair is now softer & shinier.
Special thanks to the stylist: Dan He was super duper nice. He kept on trying to converse in Tagalog and English as well as in Korean because I told him I can understand it a bit. Haha. He cut my hair the way I wanted as well, and I'm definitely going back because he suggested something to make my hairstyle better.
So if you guys plan on hitting the salon and on getting a makeover, try Bang's by T&J on Fisher Mall, I highly recommend the place, it is a bit on the pricey side but it's definitely worth it. Oh and go look for Dan!
