I loved banh mi kitchen’s vegetarian satay. It’s good and at the same time, healthy. The place is nice but the chairs and tables are too close to each other that your backs tend to touch when someone’s sitting on the other table. But anyway, the banh mis they offer are really good and i will definitely come back for more! Their milktea tastes weird. Or maybe i’m just not used to it. Their wagyu banh mi is so good that it turned out to be one of my faves besides their Protein monster which is packed with meat and egg. So crunchy, so good!

I used one of the two BMK coupons I received from a foodies' eat-up last week at its Sheridan, Mandaluyong branch. Too bad that the new Vegetarian Satay Banh Mi wasn't included in the promo.

The coupon allowed me to choose any of the banh mi creations (except of course, again, the Vegetarian Satay Banh Mi) and any drink, which also included their new Lemongrass Pandan.

I was with my date who bought an extra beverage just for me: the Damn Strong iced coffee (large, ₱120). 128522 It's been a favorite since I first tasted it from the foodie eat-up. He chose the free Lemongrass Pandan drink from the coupon promo.

As for the banh mi sandwich itself, I chose the Lemongrass Pork, regular size. He asked whether the regular size one would be really enough for us. I assured him that the sandwich was big and good enough to be shared by two persons.

Good thing the lady crew served the sandwich in half.

He was curious about the sriracha. It was his first time to try it. 128513

If you have read my previous Banh Mi Kitchen review on its Sheridan branch, I mentioned about the "Crunch Test". It is to assure that their banh mi breads have the ideal crunchy, crackling crust. If customers do not find the bread crunchy, they can send it back and have it replaced with a new bread -- it has got to be really crunchy this time. Isn't that nice?

Fortunately, the bread was crispy and crunchy on the outside, and soft on the inside. Expect it to be really messy to eat though. 128513 It was delicious and filling (I loved the omelette in it), except that I don't like coriander. I took out a lot of the coriander leaves from the sandwich. My date, fortunately, likes coriander a lot so he ate the ones I removed. 128514

I really enjoyed my Damn Strong iced coffee a lot. My date liked his Lemongrass Pandan drink.

(The last two pictures were taken from my date's new phablet. I was testing its camera).

I so love banh mi! When we visited banh mi kitchen, we ordered their lemongrass chicken and protein monster. Both are good. The baguette are crunchy as always. The lady staff is also nice. The food gets to your table a little longer since they freshly bake their baguette for a fresh and crunchy banh mi. The kiosk itself is cute. The tables and chairs on this branch are small and if it gets crowded, your backs would eventually touch each other (which happened to me). 128514

The best banh mi your money can get in Manila. The sandwich takes you back to the narrow side streets of saigon’s warm embrace. Super crunchy

The iced coffee will keep you awake for days.

I like this outlet, where you can sit and relax while having your sandwich — and have everyone passing by stare at you! Lol!
I think the protein monster has the most value for money, and very good for meat lovers like myself.

One of my fav place at megamall. Whether for snacks or lunch, it never fails when it comes to the crunchiness of its bread.

Wer na u d2 banh mi 128514128514128514

The first time I tasted a banh mi, my mouth did a little happy dance with the flavor party in my mouth, and so I was kind of excited when my friends and I got to stop over here for a little snack before we went our merry way one day.

This place has a stall-type setup in the middle of the mall, with a few chairs and tables set out. They serve a few banh mi variants as well as a few drinks. Prices ranged from 100-200 php, so pretty affordable. We decided on the classic banh mi.

The baguette was nice and crisp and ingredients were fresh. It tasted..well, classic haha. Simple and satisfying. 128076

I love Vietnamese food! I love banh mis! There are too few stores selling good banh mis IMO, so I was really excited to try Banh Mi Kitchen... They promise a crunchy baguette (the building block of a great banh mi) loaded with delicious goodies inside... I wanted to try the classic banh mi, regular size please! My fiance was able to try the wagyu tapa and the protein monster (we have been here twice, I only got the classic both times). I personally liked the classic banh mi. Similar taste to Vietnamese banh mis, but just okay not really something special. They make good on their promise of a crunchy baguette, but that alone doesn't guarantee a delicious sandwich. My fiance liked the wagyu tapa more than the protein monster-- I have to agree... The protein monster was too meaty for my liking, piled with too many things so that nothing stood out in the end. The wagyu tapa tastes better for us, less ingredients that one is able to acutally appreciate everything. I was also able to try the Vietnamese iced tea and coffee on different visits and sadly, I must say that I didn't like either drink. Skip the iced tea, really!128529

I must say that both visits were okay. I would give them 4127775, but the video that was on a loop was 300% annoying tbh. At some point I wanted to throw something at the screen just to stop the video. Not looking forward to dining in because of it. The banh mis were not bad, drinks were not.

Ordered The Classic for P149.00. Bread is still soft and a bit crunchy after hours of travel.

Never tried any Vietnamese food, and that made me curious to try the Banh Mi. But before doing so, i had hard time searching its location at SM Megamall, used there locator situated strategically in stretch if mall both ends of Bldg A and B. Never did I realize the store is just located at Mega A and only has kiosk for those who want to at least try it. No idea what to order, the server just recommends the original one. Since it will be first bite then, i decided to make it half. It costs php99 for a 6 inch Banh Mi, not bad and partnered it with Vietnamese Iced Tea. Took them long to serve my order, the large cup of tea was served right after validation of my receipt. It took them long due to the fact i guess that sandwich was made to be toasted. The situation is quite transparent with all the servers were easily be seen preparing your desired choice of sandwich. The time spent is worth the wait. Ugh! I didn't expect i will be getting hooked right after my first bite. The crunch is a test of its freshness of bread. I can't imagine how they did that knowing the bread was not seen being toasted and yet the crunchiness still there up to your last bite. Its content is superb, with silantro, secret sauce, veggies and leaned pork inside; that seriously complements with spiced up condiment, Sriracha Sauce. Vietnamese Tea reminded me something though i couldn't recall perhaps it 's way comparable to Thai Tea i have tasted long time ago. The short time i had was enough to experience Banh Mi and that being a sandwich guy, i definitely recommend this one to those who are willing to explore Vietnamese Meal and once i got to drop by Megamall, will surely be looking forward to have a footlong order of Banh Mi at Banh Mi Kitchen. Surely you'll never regret, have its crunchy first bite. Damn!

Got a half-sized 'The Classic' sandwhich (99php) before going to the movies yesterday. A little pricey in terms of size but the taste totally made up for it. I kinda regret not getting the full size! 128517

I love Vietnamese food so I'm always eager to try any Vietnamese restaurants that I find. I saw this at SM Megamall and reserved my Friday lunch for this. I ordered the P99 The Classic Banh Mi but it's just half of the original size and I think the full size could have been the better option if you're looking for a lunch-worthy serving size. If I compare this to Bon Banh Mi, here's my verdict:
Bread - Banh Mi Kitchen
Taste - Bon Banh Mi
Size - Bon Banh Mi

But overall experience is good and there are more flavors to choose from. 128523128077🏻

After trying a lot of bahn mi sandwich this one is one of the best.

Prices are quite reasonable.
Service is okey and the place is clean.

Viet iced tea is also okey.

I haven't tried authentic Banh Mi's but I swear, this place serves FREAKIN' GOOD ones! We got The Classic which was packed with Vietnamese ham, pork paté, pickled veggies, cilantro and hoisin sauce. The flavors really blend well together and contrary to other comments, I loved their generosity on the paté. The crunchiness of the baguette made a huge difference too. Definitely a new favorite here in Mega and it's perfect for those on-the-go and are on a busy shopping spree.9786

I was suppose to do some errands at mega and plan to be here early so i can check out the food scene here. But due to a chill friday night drink i woke up late, edsa was traffic as usual so when i got here its already late afternoon 128529

This place was recommended by my friend who warned me that if ever the bread was not crunchy i should complain. Hmmm... good thing was that mines today was crunchy good as advertise at their screen.

Went for their classic at 150. It was really worth it and was really good. Bread was crunchy.... parsly blends well with their vietnamese ham but liver spread was abit overwhelming. A few minutes later i realize it was all gone and i forgot to put sriracha sauce. 128549

There goes my brunch-da for the day.

They offer Vietnamese sandwich which comprised of crunchy baguette and fresh delicious ingredients.

I got to Mega early so I tried half first of The Classic which is 99PHp. And I liked it so much I ordered two more for take out: The Classic (whole - 149PHp) and Lemongrass Pork (whole - 149PHp). Sulit for the price!

I stumbled upon this place I was strolling the long halls of SM Megamall. I tried this out, well, basically out of curiosity. I ordered The Classic flavor and it tasted good. Its flavorful and very appealing to the eyes. One thing that didn't go well I think was its bread. It was too crunchy, which didn't seem to match the meat.

Pretty accurate version of the Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwich. However, they really used a lot of vetsin. I had a crazy migraine that lasted a few hours. Too bad because I enjoyed it as a snack. I recommend it if you're fine with the additives. Its really worth trying at least once.
