Never tried any Vietnamese food, and that made me curious to try the Banh Mi. But before doing so, i had hard time searching its location at SM Megamall, used there locator situated strategically in stretch if mall both ends of Bldg A and B. Never did I realize the store is just located at Mega A and only has kiosk for those who want to at least try it. No idea what to order, the server just recommends the original one. Since it will be first bite then, i decided to make it half. It costs php99 for a 6 inch Banh Mi, not bad and partnered it with Vietnamese Iced Tea. Took them long to serve my order, the large cup of tea was served right after validation of my receipt. It took them long due to the fact i guess that sandwich was made to be toasted. The situation is quite transparent with all the servers were easily be seen preparing your desired choice of sandwich. The time spent is worth the wait. Ugh! I didn't expect i will be getting hooked right after my first bite. The crunch is a test of its freshness of bread. I can't imagine how they did that knowing the bread was not seen being toasted and yet the crunchiness still there up to your last bite. Its content is superb, with silantro, secret sauce, veggies and leaned pork inside; that seriously complements with spiced up condiment, Sriracha Sauce. Vietnamese Tea reminded me something though i couldn't recall perhaps it 's way comparable to Thai Tea i have tasted long time ago. The short time i had was enough to experience Banh Mi and that being a sandwich guy, i definitely recommend this one to those who are willing to explore Vietnamese Meal and once i got to drop by Megamall, will surely be looking forward to have a footlong order of Banh Mi at Banh Mi Kitchen. Surely you'll never regret, have its crunchy first bite. Damn!

Got a half-sized 'The Classic' sandwhich (99php) before going to the movies yesterday. A little pricey in terms of size but the taste totally made up for it. I kinda regret not getting the full size! 128517

I love Vietnamese food so I'm always eager to try any Vietnamese restaurants that I find. I saw this at SM Megamall and reserved my Friday lunch for this. I ordered the P99 The Classic Banh Mi but it's just half of the original size and I think the full size could have been the better option if you're looking for a lunch-worthy serving size. If I compare this to Bon Banh Mi, here's my verdict:
Bread - Banh Mi Kitchen
Taste - Bon Banh Mi
Size - Bon Banh Mi

But overall experience is good and there are more flavors to choose from. 128523128077🏻

After trying a lot of bahn mi sandwich this one is one of the best.

Prices are quite reasonable.
Service is okey and the place is clean.

Viet iced tea is also okey.

I haven't tried authentic Banh Mi's but I swear, this place serves FREAKIN' GOOD ones! We got The Classic which was packed with Vietnamese ham, pork paté, pickled veggies, cilantro and hoisin sauce. The flavors really blend well together and contrary to other comments, I loved their generosity on the paté. The crunchiness of the baguette made a huge difference too. Definitely a new favorite here in Mega and it's perfect for those on-the-go and are on a busy shopping spree.9786

I was suppose to do some errands at mega and plan to be here early so i can check out the food scene here. But due to a chill friday night drink i woke up late, edsa was traffic as usual so when i got here its already late afternoon 128529

This place was recommended by my friend who warned me that if ever the bread was not crunchy i should complain. Hmmm... good thing was that mines today was crunchy good as advertise at their screen.

Went for their classic at 150. It was really worth it and was really good. Bread was crunchy.... parsly blends well with their vietnamese ham but liver spread was abit overwhelming. A few minutes later i realize it was all gone and i forgot to put sriracha sauce. 128549

There goes my brunch-da for the day.

They offer Vietnamese sandwich which comprised of crunchy baguette and fresh delicious ingredients.

I got to Mega early so I tried half first of The Classic which is 99PHp. And I liked it so much I ordered two more for take out: The Classic (whole - 149PHp) and Lemongrass Pork (whole - 149PHp). Sulit for the price!

I stumbled upon this place I was strolling the long halls of SM Megamall. I tried this out, well, basically out of curiosity. I ordered The Classic flavor and it tasted good. Its flavorful and very appealing to the eyes. One thing that didn't go well I think was its bread. It was too crunchy, which didn't seem to match the meat.

Pretty accurate version of the Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwich. However, they really used a lot of vetsin. I had a crazy migraine that lasted a few hours. Too bad because I enjoyed it as a snack. I recommend it if you're fine with the additives. Its really worth trying at least once.

Haha! Sorry dennis almost the same ang picture natin!

And Sayang! If only this was spotted earlier, we could have made this our main meal. Honestly, banh mi kitchen is offers much more satisfying and affordable meal.

128204128525 beef tapa whole for 189 pesos
Love the crunchy bread with the liver spread, and the really tender tapa! I could actually have another one but we have to go shortly. What's better is because you can order a half sandwich. Yes, uso ang half dito (parang half rice lang)

We instructed the server to divide it into 3 kaso it was way too unequal. I had the largest part. Thanks Elaine O and Dennis O haha!!

I wish they have a bigger place though. Ang awkward ng dining expeeience because your back will be touching the other customer's back. Haha.

The latest food trend in manila foodscene. BanhMi have finally arrive in our foodscene. I've been in love with this sandwhich ever since I've tasted it in Vietnam. A simple cheap streetside viet sandwhich that goes well with a cup of viet coffee.

After our dessert in Yo Panda, just as we go down the escalator we noticed Banhmi Kitchen. We immediately went back up since we are still bitin from our lunch in Makansutra. We went for the wagyu tapa. The meat was tender good with a hint of sweetness. The liver patte was delicious and the egg omelette inbetween give another layer of texture. The veggies were also all fresh good.

Overall this a great delicious find that is also wallet friendly. Nice one! 128522128077

I'm always looking for a place nearby to eat for lunch and I'm so glad to discover that Banh Mi Kitchen is currently in Powerplant mall's POP by Retail Lab store. I tried the Wagyu Beef Tapa and it was really good. The meat was tender and the sauce just blends all the ingredients perfectly. Serving was hefty and the bread was really crunchy! Truly passed the crunch test! :) By the way, their Vietnamese Iced Coffee was great too!

One of the best I've tried 128077128523
They have different fillings, but when in doubt, order the classic. I did. And loved it.
They say the secret to a good banh mi is in the bun/bread. Panalo ang bread nila! Kaya pala they have this #crunchtest , try etttt!
Had the milk tea, which is ok. I wanted to get sana the iced coffee but it was out of stock. Hmmm next time then.

Quick stop @ this new food stall in 4th Flr Bldg A of SM Megamall. Finally, I get to taste Banh Mi for the first time. Heard a lot from friends about this Vietnamese sandwich. Its bread is a baguette.. But this one is crunchy (but not hard) and I find it good. I quickly chose the classic banh mi ( half costs P99, while the whole bun costs P149). Had the half bun , just to satisfy my cravings. The classic has vietnamese ham, roast pork, cucumber, pickled raddish, carrot, mayo, hoisin sauce, and seasoned pate. My verdict: i love it. Bold taste but not overpowering. It has distinct flavors compared with the usual sandwich that we have. Plus I enjoyed the crunchiness of the bread128076🏼 i can finish a whole bun next visit 10084

Also tried , Vietnamese iced tea (one cup is P60), taste is close to the taste of milk tea. For me its ok.

Finally gave in to the #CrunchTest , had their Classic Banhmi partying in my tummy with its different fresh ingredients.
.
.
This sandwich called Banh Mi is a traditional street food in Vietnam wherein the form of its recipe is in French, as it being eaten with a toasted baguette. They have various selections, but the one I got is one of their best sellers. It is made up of: Ham, Roast pork, Homemade pate, pickled veggies and cilantro. For unique flavors, you may also enjoy other kinds such as: Wagyu Tapa, Beef Rendang, etc. Price for full ranges from 149php to 189 php and the regular ones cost 99 to 129php.
.
.
Plus they have 2 beverages which can be paired up with their Banh Mi. For 99php you can get either a glass of their Viet Coffee or Viet Iced Tea (the one in orange). Gotta love the crunchyness that they take seriously because you can have your Banh Mi replaced when they serve it soft (or not crunchy at all).

The Banh Mi sandwich is born and raised in Vietnam with heavy influences from the French.   This is a product  of French colonialism in Indochina, combining ingredients from the French (baguettes, pâté, jalapeño, and mayonnaise) with native Vietnamese ingredients, such as cilantro, cucumber, and pickled carrots and daikon.

History lesson aside,  i was dead set on trying Banh Mi Kitchen,  the new kid on the block.  I didn't have difficulty finding their location albeit the crowd in Mega on a Sunday afternoon.  It's a small space with wooden chairs and tables.  Their menu is straightforward - different types of Banh Mi,  Vietnamese coffee and some refreshments.  The prices are the same,  php 129 for the small size and php 189 for the large size (6 inches give or take).

We settled on the Beef Rendang variant.  I like curry,  he likes beef.  This is the best option,  odd as it may sound but it's killer when incorporated in the sandwich.  This would be stellar if they added more liver pâté,  mayonnaise and more veggies.  A slice of cheese wouldn't hurt.   Albeit the lack of the aforementioned elements,  Banh Mi Kitchen delivered.

I was a Bon Bahn Mi addict when my office was still at Chino Roces.

99 bucks for a large Bahn Mi. Free delivery for a min 300 bucks. Easily 3 sandwiches for me! My only complaint was that the veggies weren't pickled.

Enter these guys who will give Bon Bahn Mi a run for their money!

They highlight their crunchy baguette.

And crunchy it is! Very very crunchy! 128522

For 149 bucks for the Full Classic Bahn Mi, it was a hefty 6 inches of meat and pickled veggies. I love that they were generous with the cilantro! If I could marry Cilantro, I will! 128513

It was yummy that I decided to take out 3 full sandwiches for the family.

Tip: warm your take out at 250° for 3 minutes.

If you don't heat them, they will be chewy.

Prices are very reasonable. The only downside is it's located at Megamall. Parking is hard. Driving there is also a pain if you're from QC. Other than that, all upsides!

Sulit'

Kiosk dishes out crunchy and fresh bahn mis. Even better than some bahn mi I had in Vietnam. Ordered for the classic, but wasnt available. Got the wagyu tapa and lemongrass instead. Iced viet coffee was refreshing, OA lang sa dami ng condensed milk.

I spotted the Banh Mi Kitchen kiosk while walking around Megamall. I excitedly vibered my dad and sister as they enjoy eating Banh Mi sandwiches. A few days after the sighting, i headed on over for a quick bite.

The server was very friendly and accommodating. Do note that I was the only diner at that time. I went with his recommendation and ordered The Classic - vietnamese ham, roast pork, pate, cucumber, pickled radish and carrot, mayo, hoisin sauce. Quite a handful of ingredients for a sandwich. Flavors weren't bold or overpowering. The sandwich was good. Bread was crunchy but not too hard. Vegetables tasted fresh. It was quite a messy mouthful so I think I won't have it split into 2 pieces for easier handling. The P149 price tag was pretty reasonable.

Their other sandwich flavors sound interesting too - Lemongrass Pork, Kani Bonito, Wagyu Tapa, Beef Rendang and Protein Monster. I would probably go for the Protein Monster next time if I were very hungry.

P. S. I couldn't stop watching their video that was on loop the whole time. The food looked so mouthwatering.
