Banol Beach is an island where most tourist who availed the island tour packages stop over and have their lunch. It's a small island with few beach huts enough for about 30 people. The sand is fine and powdery white. The water is so blue and crystal clear. You can basically see your feet clearly when submerged under water.

All fees for this island and the food being served is already included in the tour package. So cool that the tour guide slash boat men are the ones who cook the food on the boat and serve it to us when done. The freshest and delicious seafood are being served as well as inihaw na baboy. We also had a local seafood delicacy which is "Lato". I'm not sure if we only have this in Coron but from what my papa told me we only have this here. It tastes sooooo good with inihaw na baboy and grilled fish. Island life at it's finest! 128076🏼

I've seen many beaches in my life and one of them can be found in Coron, Palawan. Banol beach is secluded, unspoiled, and clean. I like that it’s small, has fine white sand, few cottages, and pristine water. If you go to Coron without a package tour, you may visit this island for only 100 pesos per head.

There is a little store in the island, but it doesn’t really offer much. It is manned by the same people who maintain Banol. The cottages had long tables and benches where people could have a picnic. The sand was so white and fine, it can be compared with that in Boracay.

This was Coron before the commercialization.  The only way for the weary traveller to reach paradise is to take Super Ferry.

The visit was before the construction of the Busuanga airport.  I think the local officials are stil conceptualising the idea of having an airport.

I was having second thoughts about this trip...why? I get sea sick and for some odd reason i always remember Kate and Leo's movie while i am aboard a ship.  The idea of a sinking ship and me holding on to dear life via a life vest is terrifying.  I'd rather die on a plane crash,  quick and lights out in a matter of minutes.

We arrived at Coron after x number of years (12 hours,  pardon the exaggeration).   It was a typical rural city,  laid-back,  big-ass tricycles for going to point a to b.  The first day was a waste,  due to unforseen circumstances.  I dont want to bore you with the details and i might get sued for slander.

We hired a boat the next day for island-hopping.  Bought food at the local talipapa.  First stop was CYC island.  This is where the boatmen cooked our lunch while the rest of the gang took pictures.  I dont take a lot of photos during roadtrips because i prefer lounging around and enjoying the experience.  CYC is secluded,  perfect for illicit island getaways,  the sand is not as fine as the other islands.

Second stop was at Banol Beach.  This is where we had our lunch.  This is the kind of beach you picture in your head.  Clear blue waters,  white sand,  rock formations,  shirtless Ryan Gosling and you rocking a string bikini.

The sand is powdery white.  As fine as they can get.  The water is breathtaking.  Blue,  clear and calm.  This is a quiet beach,  perfect for skinny dipping and getting a tan while reading your favorite book.  It is so quiet i can hear all of the voices in my head.
