The Barasoain Church is a Roman Catholic church built in 1888 in Malolos, Bulacan. It is about 42 kilometers only away from Manila. I was amazed that this church was built many years ago. The church recorded some of the important events occurred in the country.
It's one of the most tourist destination in Malolos Bulacan. Because of its historical fact. Many people are going there because they say that when you have a mass there you will be having many blessings. You will be truly blessed when you go there.
They have a mini museum beside the historical church. Some of the historical churches are far from the Manila. But the Barasoain Church from Manila is about 3 hours only.
We saw other people like foreigners and filipinos are going there to have mass. You will be blessed when you go there and be amazed.

Heard mass here on Valentine's Day with my BF. I fell in love with its interior and façade. Caught the last mass and Binyagang Bayan. People are friendly here. The tricycle driver who drove us from Crossing to the church took a shortcut that led to the back gate of the church so we're able to catch the mass! Traffic is heavy from the crossing up to the church so I suggest you commute if you want to go here instead of bringing your own transpo.

This is how the church in the ten peso bill looks like at night. Amazing. Though I have been living near Barasoain like forever, I am still in awe whenever I enter the place. Memories of our heroes are etched in every corner of the said church.

The historical Barasoain Church. The venue of the Malolos Congress. A church and a museum.

I love attending Sunday masses here. The church is not that crowded with people but crowded with cars at the parking area. After each every mass, the priest will bless the mass attendees with holy water.

There is also an interactive museum here. You can visit the museum for free, but only those with advanced reservation can watch the music and lights show inside.

This is my first time here and Im glad that we've stopped by. 128124

I thought that it was a big church but it wasn't. Its a bit small which makes it more intimate. I enjoyed every details of this church, from the saints to the paintings of the ceiling and the gold altar.

Its magical! 128124128522

Stop by to say a little prayer inside and to have a quick tour of the church.

Still standing its majestic posture since 1630; although the original structure was burned during the outbreak in the Philippine revolution (as per Barasoain Church website) and it was renovated but you could still see the superb architecture of the church. 128588

The church have a nearby school, La Consolacion, and a museum. There is also Cafe Barasoain inside, beside the school (small cafe), I didn't have a taste of the drinks but I think it's good based on the numerous people on queue. 128517

One thing I like about old churches; they have "Priest's Corner" (not sure what it is called) but it's the one corner elevated for the priest to speak at during homily. I find it historically amusing. 9962

Check the museum beside the church. They have a collection of vestments, hymnals and sacred images on display.
