Great for dinner date or some wine night with friends. Staffs are attentive. Red sangria is the best. We've also tried their sexy and cool and la vina white wine. Both have a fruity light taste.
Tip: Ask for complimentary bread before you ordered wine or foods as they only served it as requested.

/me has found a good sanctuary in GB5's Barcino. The place is quaint, there are no noisy people and the best part is that you are surrounded by bottles and bottles of wine. It's like a hidden deli. I was giddy when i walked in and around. I decided to get my friend a birthday present but ended up spending more.

I got a bottle of wine for myself just because i was attracted to the design. It was pretty smooth. Also bought a bottle of brined mushrooms. It's nice to read here, with a bottle of wine on a Saturday afternoon.

Excellent service from Ima. She was the only one in the store but answered all my questions. The artsy bottles of Vicente Gandia (not Vice Ganda) got me curious, plus the designs are worth keeping. Walked out feeling calm.

I ordered Verduras which turned out to be a simple yet delicious vegetable dish. If you're looking for something light and relatively healthy, try this.

My friend ordered the carbonara which was yummy. It was a huge serving, good for 2-3 people. The sauce was deliciously rich and creamy; I only wish it had more ham.

As always, I love this place as it's quiet and off the beaten path. Most people tend to go to the branch in Greenbelt 2 instead.

Very small place in comparison to their other branches but that's part of the charm. It's much more relaxed and quiet, so it's nice to linger over your wine and chat with your friends. They have a good wine selection within a broad price range, and they also have a small selection of cheeses and cold cuts in the refrigerated section which you can purchase and have served to you. You can also order from the Greenbelt 2 menu and they will bring the food over to the Greenbelt 5 location, so you can have all your favourite dishes.

I love coming here for a bottle (or more) of red wine paired with some cheese (MANCHEGO!). Once in a while I'll also order some of their tapas, I'd highly recommend their Gambas and croquettas. Their paella is also quite nice and a decent size.

This place has turned me into a serious wine lover 10084️!

Ambience is nice, such a great place to go for a date night or if your looking for a not so crowded place to talk. I haven't tried the food yet myself, but the wine list super extensive. If you don't know what to order, ask the waiter to suggest something. They'll open up a bottle and let you try it first. 128522. Looking at the menu, the prices were in the mid range. Bottles of wine go for around php 600 and up. (they have promos/discounts aswell)

Would totally recommend this place over and over again!

Just wow. Even their chicken and seafood paella are that good (lalo na yung tutong* hehe). Now I can't choose between paella negra or these two 128148128557 This is so hard. Decisions. Decisions.

Ordered a bottle of wine and tapas for a catch-up session with a friend who is based abroad.

Place is nice because its quiet and you can hear each other talking. Food is good as well but the only downside is that it closes at 9. 128532

After work drink with a good friend. We got a bottle of red, an order of tapas gourmet, the huevos something and mushroom croquettes.

A great place to hang out and catch-up with great friends with good food!127863127863127863

I don't really remember the names of the food we ordered during my brother's birthday but I do remember having a cheese and chorizo platter for appetizer. I'm not really fond of chorizos and all its forms because I honestly think it tastes the same lol! But my mom loves them and she thought it was good so I think it counts for something.

For the main course, we ordered paella which was huuuge we weren't able to finish it! I also had lamb while my brother had steak. Sorry, I really don't recall what they are called but it was of good quality. It was cooked the way we wanted it to be - medium well! Plus the meat was soft.

One can never leave Barcino tho without trying out their well-renowned Sangria! I'm not really the drinking type since I have low tolerance so my mom and I had to share one order. Gotta give it to them though because the fruits really blended well with the wine.

Loved their calamari and (fortunately) the tuna salad but wont go back to this branch because i was disappointed with their service. Our orders took forever, then a wrong salad was brought, the waiter insisting that it was what we ordered. ;-(. We were too hungry to argue and as I said, we were just lucky we liked the tuna salad (or was that hunger?).

i am a big fan of tapas and wine. i would hoard ramon roquetta cabernet sauvignon if i just have a place where i can stock all of it! the paella here is better than las flores. i heard though that the former chef's of barcino are in las flores already. chisms! 128540 ambiance was great and the food was delish. of course the wine we had was awesome!
