Chistorra, Paella Negra and a bottle of red wine 127863! These are our usual orders when we dine at any Barcino branch. 128077🏻

My friends and I enjoyed Barcino last night! We got their paella negra, chorizo which would be go perfectly with the paella and pitchers of sangria. Definitely a must try!

No one really reviews Barcino, because no one's sober enough to remember what happened the next day -- except a Tita like me. 128540 Had a bottle of Bordeaux. Very decent wine. Although it wasn't chilled. I'm no wine expert, but shouldn't wine be chilled before serving? I usually chill mine, regardless of whether it's white, red or rose'. Anyway, to go with it, we ordered a meat & cheese platter, chorizo croquettes and baby eel. Food was decent. Like every tapas place in this city. But the service leaves much to be desired. It took forever for the anggulas (eel) to arrive. And upon following up, the witty server said "Hinuhuli pa." (Drumroll please) I'm pretty sure he's said that to a lot of customers, most of whom are drunk enough not to care -- but had he said that to an angry drunkard, gulo yan! Thank God I was happy enough not to care. 128539

Because there seems to be no other drinking place in Powerplant, Barcino is the default option. Not sure if I'll go out of my way to drink there as the service isn't exactly stellar. Next time, will just open a decent bottle at home and just buy cold cuts & cheese from S&R. (Ok fine, maybe I'll go back for the eel, but any self-respecting tapas place can cook the same dish in half the time.) To that I say "adios".

For a Spanish Restaurant you would think they serve good paella. Unfortunately their seafood paella was really bland and kinda dry. The tapas were pretty pricey for something that I could do at home (hello hamon & manchego cheese over at the Rustan's Supermarket deli section). The chorizo in olive oil (not really sure I forgot the name of the dish) was good though, very tasty.

Liked the ambience more than the food.

Aside from the good wine selections, paella is also their trademark. Ordered paella negra, blackened rice with squid ink and calamares and paella de marisco, basically this is a seafood paella. Great lunch for me today.

fight the summer heat with a chilled Beronia reserva rioja, manchego cheese, black paela , chicken bleu. order cheese in the deli section, you can have it sliced then other half for take out. better option than menu offer.

Barcino -- the go-to place for random meetups and parties. Some Manchego cheese and Iberico Ham to go with our house red wine. Perfect. 128077

My 2nd time to their bruch buffet.

Their place can hold up to 40 pax. Because of The holiday season, their inside dining was quickly reserved by the time i call .No choice.. But to reserve outside. Poor us.

There are changes i noticed this time. Before their buffet is only P895++ and yhis is inclusive of all yheir drinks (iced tea, coffee, sangria, wine.. Name it!) but now there's this sort of choice: P995++ for bottomless iced tea ONLY. & P1,095++ for All drinks.

If you love Spanish menu, this is the place and their brunch buffet is super sulit.

Foods i 10084️: on their buffet table i love their blue cheese, breads, salad, then of course the paella ( available upon request: seafood or negra.. Your choice!) , grilled seafood and chorizo is a must try, for dessert, i love the truffles!!

Service: attentive waiters. But i prefer the dining inside, its much accessible plus comfortable. Although the weather is cooperative when we dine.

My first ever cocktail intake was this calssic margarita. It was the start of my undying love for margaritas. Just don't take too long for you to finish the drink because it won't taste the same. A bit bitter from you first sip. Their mango mojito is also good.

We ordered the Altozano red wine, it was good. Good enough for a first time wine taster! Hahaha. I definitely wouldn't forget the cheese covered potato wedges 128077 It has a hint of spiciness to it, which I love!

I loved the Spanish theme and overall ambience of the place! The staff were very nice and were really accommodating. I'd definitely go back again, given the time. The place is good for catching up with your girls and just relax in the company of each other. Cheers! 127863

From the sea to my fork 128525

A huge lovely seafood spaghetti dish was served last night and it was a delight since I was craving for seafood pasta.

The place isn't all about wines This plus a good bottle of red wine wasn't so bad. 128525

This is one of our favorite meeting places in Rockwell. Both ambiance and food are great.

As you can see in the picture, we ordered Seafood Paella and Chicken Pork Paella for the main dish; red wine; and for dessert, Mousse De Queso Y Fresa. I love all of them! Torrijas taste fine too.

Thumbs up for this place! 128077

Barcino = perfect spot for fancy wine night with high school girl friends. 128131128131128131

127863 had a bottle of red, a bottle of white, and a bottle of rose for 6 of us. Red was okay, but loooved the white and rose wines. Too bad I didn't get the names. Oops.

127834 chorizo and cheese platter was awesome! friends had paella negra which they raved about while I had my grilled vegetables which were perfect!

127854 churros were bitin. Only five tiny pieces but it was good.

Overall, good experience! Quite pricey, but definitely coming back if I'm on splurging mode again. 128516
