Our CebAdventure wouldn't be complete if we don't offer a prayer to our god almighty.

Another famous landmark in Cebu and considered as the oldest roman catholic church in the country. I've been so blessed and grateful by having the opportunity to pray at the sto.nino statue. Good thing, the line is not that long. You would feel the serenity and happiness of being blessed in this sacred place.

The bell tower is still under reconstruction i'm not sure if it's because of what happened last year.

After the Magellan Cross visit, we walked outside to see Basilica Minore del Santo Nino. We noticed that the church bell tower was still under construction due to the past earthquake. As always, I said a little prayer, including my wish and knocked on the church door 3 times before entering the church. This habit was introduced by my friend to me when we were in high school and I’m still doing it every time I visit a church for the first time.

We went to the side of the church to light our Prayer candles and saw a lot of devotees offering candles and prayers. You can really feel the serenity and holiness in this church.

Feels good visit a church for the first time. You get to ask for a wish and be blessed9786️. Too bad we weren't able to hear mass. The church is still being renovated due to the damages of the earthquake last year.

It's always a pleasure to visit the basilica and relish hundreds of years of faith and and heritage.

Happy to see that the damages caused by the earth quake last year were now repaired and the place is getting back it's former glory. 128513

It was wednesday when we visited the Basilica, we arrived around 4pm and it was raining. There was a mass so finished it first before looking around.

The picture above shows the damaged part o the church- still under re-construction. We entered, prayed, then went in line for Sto. Niño.

Your Visit in Cebu is not complete if you didn't see this, especially if you are a complete religious person,. And my visit is complete,.well, I'm not that religious but I really appreciate places like this.. It is actually our first stop the next day of our stay in cebu on January just this year.. Although it's ruined bec. Of the calamity , you can still see the beauty , although the architecture is simple, you will still get amazed... By the way it's just near magellan's cross..
We also attended mass here, it's just that, the mass held outside, infront of the church, and beside is a school..bec. It's not yet allowed inside bec. It's kind of dangerous cause by some falling debris.. It's still under construction that time..I just don't know now if they are finished reconstructing it.
Never mind losing my inflooence points but I will recommend this to all of you .. 1285161285229992128146
