How adventurous do you think you can be with your ice cream? Imagine this, how blissful would it be to have a different flavor per day? Well, with Baskin Robbins, this sugary fantasy can become a reality.

A little history lesson: Baskin-Robbins is the world’s largest chain of ice cream specialty shop restaurants. The brand is based in Canton, Massachusetts and was founded in 1945 by Burt Baskin and Irv Robbins in Glendale, California.

Remember the one flavor a day? Well, the company is well known for its “31 flavors” slogan. The idea is that a customer could have a different flavor of ice cream every day of any month—now, that will never be boring!

Last week, I was invited to Baskin Robbins in Glorietta 2. The store was well lit and looked very inviting, I arrived to several kids enjoying their respective sweets of choice, which made me think, what do I want to try?

I approached the counter and saw that the store has guides on how to pick and build your own sundae. The first step is to choose 1, 2, or 3 scoops of your favorite flavor, either in a waffle cone or cup; then, on to the toppings and boy, do they have a lot! You can have the regular ones like Hot Fudge, Whipped Cream, Caramel Pralines, White Chocolate Chips, among others or go premium with Chopped Almonds, Strawberry, Chocolate Candies, and Chocolate Wafer Balls.

The final step is finishing your sundae with yes, there’s more—whipped cream, cherry, and chopped almonds. Make your treats more lavishly delicious and eye-popping! Add Php 35 for colored waffles and Php 56 for fancy ones (colored waffles with a border of your toppings of choice).

Now on to what I was able to try: first was the Double Scoop of Maui Brownie Madness and Orange You Scared (the flavor of the month this November, with chocolate ice cream and orange-colored flakes) (Php 159) on the red Waffle Cone (Php 35). The creamy scoops were considerably big; you can trust me on this. The crispy colored waffle cone complemented the sweetness of the ice cream, taming it down a notch.

Next was the Brownie Ala Mode with playful Cotton Candy and with a hint of berry, Baseball Nut (Php 249) which married together a moist chunk of brownie and the saccharine goodness of the two flavors.

For those who like cookies as well, I also made my own award winning combination of Warm cookie of Double Fudge and Dark Chocolate sandwiched with their really cool Mint Ice Cream (Php 169). The invigorating minty flavor blended well with the cookies, which were of different flavors and textures. Refreshing to have!

Of course the classics will always be there! I tried the Banana Split (Php 369), which had a different twist, made modern with unusual ice cream choices of Pistachio, Cotton Candy, and Jamoca (coffee ice cream with roasted almonds and a rich chocolate fudge ribbon) This instagramable ensemble was topped with chocolate wafer balls, hot fudge, and rainbow sprinkles. This was a festive creamy treat, fit for a celebration!

Not to forget the milkshake lovers, Baskin Robbins has something for everyone. I chose the Strawberry Milkshake using their real Strawberry flavor, and it did not disappoint me as well. It had that familiar velvety goodness and right amount of sweetness.

Yep, this was a sugar filled adventure to remember! Wanna make one too, Baskin is waiting for you.

Hmm seems to me we always find ourselves in a Baskin Robbins branch every Sunday. It's almost like an automatic thing hahaha
This time I ordered something for myself. Used to be I just get a bit of a taste from handsome hubby's order . You know just trying to watch my sugar intake kuno (asa)

I had a sample of salted caramel flavor and my will just dissolved. Serves me right tempting the Gods by going to the counter where the lady was more than happy to oblige my heart's desires.

Oh well, it was worth it huhuhu. That salted caramel ice cream was silky with some crunch and melty and creamy and sweet and salty. I think I could finish a pint of that in one sitting....

Baskin Robbins has a new menu item that will only be around for a limited time only: warm ice cream cookie sandwiches!

For the cookies, you get three options: Double Fudge, Dark Chocolate Chunk, and White Chunk Macadamia Nut. You can have two different cookies to sandwich your choice of ice cream!

Being the chocolate lover that I am, I chose the Double Fudge and Dark Chocolate Chunk cookies to go with the Sea Salt Caramel Espresso ice cream, which happens to be the Flavor of the Month too.

The cookies had a nice chewiness to them and the ice cream is really good. You can really taste the salt but it isn't overwhelming. I find it a touch too pricey for Php169 tho.

Love Potion #31 is definitely LOVE! 128525

How to beat the summer heat? White chocolate and raspberry ice creams swirled with a raspberry ribbon and loaded with raspberry-filled dark chocolate hearts and chocolate chips! I added a waffle cup with almonds to make it more delicious and I totally love it!

As always, Baskin Robbins never fail to satisfy my cravings to ice cream. Simple joys and bringing you back to your childhood- that's what I'm feeling everytime I eat ice cream. :)
Since I really love chocolate, any food with chocolate will surely be a delight for me, that's why I never missed to eat chocolate- flavored ice cream here. Showing you what I ordered, the mint chocolate chip and world class chocolate. It was heaven :)

Hurrah for this Ice Cream joint!! Ice cream for dessert after lunch from Buffalo's. 128077 Asked the crew which are their best-sellers and she told me that Chocolate Trilogy is really good and so I had one scoop of it and the other one is their Jamoca Almond Fudge and it did not disappoint!! 128513 Very creamy and delish so no need for toppings!!

Super worth it!! A bit pricey tho for an ice cream but I'm pretty sure you'll really love and enjoy it like I did. 10084128513 So they have 31 flavors from what I have read on their website I had tried two flavors so 29 to go but then I am not a fan of Mint Flavored ice cream so minus one that means 28 to go hahahahaha!!! Long way to go for me tho!! 1285149786

I've always been a milkshake-guy and this was one of the best milkshakes I've had in a while. Cotton Candy was a spot on! :)

Is this gelato or regular ice cream? Either way, ice cream was think and delicious. We chose the regular single scoop Caramel Turtle Truffle and the Chocolate Chip Dough (?). The former has small chocolate turtles! I love it. :) Very creative. I like the facade of the place too. Looks so clean and fun.

Tried out this place out of curiosity. Hm, I totally forgot what I ordered but I prefer hubby's order-strawberry/berry.

A bit expensive compared to others. Worht the try but probably not returning anytime soon.

I still prefer gelatos.

Have you heard of a cotton candy ice cream flavor before? How about movie theater popcorn? Nope? Neither do I. These are only some of the unique flavors that I found at the newly opened Baskin Robbins in Glorietta 5. My friends and I happened to pass by the store last Thursday and decided to give it a go.

My friends ordered Caramel Praline Cheesecake and Gold Medal Ribbon. The former is how a Starbucks Praline frappe would taste like if it's turned into an ice cream, while the latter has a rich vanilla flavor with a hint of chocolate.

I had the Cotton Candy Wonderland because it tasted just as it promised, cotton candy! It's very sweet so I'm pretty sure kids and kids at heart would love it.

It's 85 pesos a scoop though. Yes, it's expensive. Apart from ice cream they also have milkshakes and ice cream cakes, which we didn't get to try. Well, next time!
