I thought it was OK.

My mama wanted some dessert and she specifically requested for some Baskin Robbins after lunch to which my papa agreed to. They have no sugar added flavors and frozen yogurts aside from the regular ice cream flavors. The regular scoop costs Php 119, a bit pricey but the scoop is big enough for sharing.

My baby sister is NUTS about Baskin Robbins (well all three of us are, she’s just a little more extreme about it.) Because of this, we never miss out on a chance to have a scoop whenever we’re in Southmall (I can’t stop thanking the heavens for such a wonderful gift to all us ice cream lovers from the south).

On this particular day, their new promo caught our attention: Get a FREE Junior Scoop if you have anything PINK on you. (Valid only every Wednesday) 128090128089128091127746

Ah yes, all you Mean Girls fans would know the catch here. “On Wednesdays we wear pink!” as Karen Smith would say. 128587🏽128582🏽128129🏽

Luckily, I was wearing something pink! I had my pink Vans on! Hooray for us! 128099

The couple ahead of us didn’t have anything pink so the crew gave them a tiny pink sample spoon and called it valid! So you can imagine my excitement when our turn came. 128526

But for some reason, the guy in charge wasn’t too helpful about the promo. We initially told him we’d avail of the promo. Turns out there was a fine print on the flyer stating that we had to order a double scoop to avail of the promo, so that’s what we did. When we showed him my shoe, I could see his eyes roll and how reluctant he was to give us our free scoop. 127846127846127846

Nonetheless, we still enjoyed our ice cream and at P145 for 3 scoops, that’s definitely not a bad deal! Maverick Christopher P loved their pistachio and strawberry 9786127846

One thing I can say - Baskin Robbins brings back a huge part of my childhood. 🇸🇦

I could remember nights when my dad would bring me to the hospital my mom worked at to pick her up after her shift but before that we would stop by Baskin Robbins for a scoop. If I did well in school that day he would get me a sundae with the works!

Moving to the PH was definitely difficult especially when I was just 16 and I had to live on my own. Getting to eat food from my hometown was comforting. And let me tell you, there is no ice cream joint in the whole of Manila like BR.

Finally, after 10 long years BR decided to open a branch here. I was so giddy! As soon as I heard I dragged Maverick Christopher P with me to get some.

It's pricier compared to Saudi but it is definitely worth it. 10084

I love ice creams! I enjoyed what I ordered (Love Potion No. 31). It's yummy but quite pricey.

A few months ago, I noticed that Bono Artisinal Gelato has closed down which was a bit sad cos I've been wanting to try their cereal and milk which i always read in Clarissa P's reviews. Anyways, last week while I was running errands around sm, I noticed some pink and purple balloons near chatime. Lo and behold, baskin and Robbins! It was actually their blessing that day (with priest and candles and all) so I said I'd come back with the hubbybear the next day.
I've fond memories of baskin in Alabang twin cinema (20 years ago!) and I'm happy to see that the variety is still there. I opted for a kiddie sized sorbet (php85) while the bear got a double scoop. The taste is actually very similar to blue bunny in s&r.
Less one star though cos they don't have a seating area where you can enjoy your dessert.
