Batter or Dough serves thick, crispy-chewy flavored waffles. Well, they have the plain one too. When I visited, I wanted to be able to taste more flavors so, I ordered their sampler called Wampler. It's their standard whole waffle cut to 4 pieces to have one of plain, maple, cinnamon, and nutella flavors. Also tried an order of Peanut Butter. Good but nakakaumay since it was huge. 128514 I hope they can have customers choose the flavors they want for the Wampler. Price may just vary.

They're limited to sweet/dessert flavors now but they're going to have savory ones soon.

They also serve coffee and chocolate drinks. Their iced choco was good.

NOW THIS is my kind of WAFFLE. Tucked at the 4th floor of SM North's The Block, right across the cinema ticket booth, is Batter or Waffle, a new homegrown restaurant that serves good coffee and the best waffles I've ever tasted.

I loved the waffles, ranging between P95 and P200 depending on the flavor, it's crunchy outside, just the way I like it, and then nice and chewy inside. And even if it's not fresh and hot, the crunch remains, a nice plus.

I'm not going to give a tip as to what flavor to order because it's a personal choice, but if you're not sure, just get their Wampler, a 4 piece sampler version of their standard sized Waffle, cinnamon sugar, maple syrup, original and nuttella. I'm guessing the nuttella would be a classic top seller. But I'd also consider the cookie butter and Dulce de Leche. I also think the Batter Bomb is pretty good too.

I didn't get to try the other flavors (it was a sponsored foodie event), but like I said, it's up to you as a customer to pick your flavor but I highly recommend the ones up top.

Their coffee, a Brazilian and Sumatran blend, is good. Had their coffee black, it was good though a bit acidic for my taste. 127775127775127775127775 They also serve cool looking cold concoctions, but I went with the base black coffee to get a feel of the quality of their blend.

Brother and sister co-owners Kim and Bea were very kind and receptive to feedback. They developed this for 6 months, to be precisely crunchy outside with a good chewiness inside. And they're coming up with savory waffles soon, plus other items that's either batter or dough based. Looking forward to those soon.

Waffles are pancake's ripped cousin, and imho are superior haha. Anyway, decided to go check out this new place at SM North specializing in waffles and a couple of drinks.

Bright space with white and yellow interiors, nice and cheery! Menu is straightforward with prices in the 100-200 PHP range.

Since I wanted to try the plain waffle + their toppings, I chose their Wampler (150 PHP), a waffle sampler I assume 128514 It came with plain, Nutella, cinnamon sugar and whipped butter + maple syrup slices. So the big question: how was ittttt?? The waffles were nicely warm and crisp on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside with a lingering chewiness. Loved the texture! Tastewise, it was okay and was a good plain base for the varied toppings. My favorite was the Nutella one because 127851127851127851 and ended up ordering another whole Nutella one. Haha!

I also got ther Mocha Blendy for 155 PHP. Not too rich and not too sweet. Liked this, it paired well with the waffles.

Overall, nice place for a good snack! 128077
