If you want a time out from rushed city life, go here. If you're finicky about amenities, pick another place because this place is pretty basic. However, the people are nice and the F&B head listens to what you need. The sand... the beach... the sunset... snorkeling off of the other nearby islands.... that's what you come here for.

I've included a photo of their conference space. Which beach resort owners could thinknof making conference areas more natural and in keeping with the venue...

By the way, the food was AWESOME!!!!! Great to eat by the beach and have a couple of brewskies...!

Bantyan Island is an island located in the Visayan Sea, Philippines. It is situated to the west of the northern end of Cebu Island, across the Tañon Strait.

Source:  Wikipedia

Our visit was ages ago,  i didnt bother taking photos of the islands we visited and their names is totally wiped out from my memory (this goes to show that the trip was not that memorable).

We were coerced into staying at Beach Placid.  Not in a bad way,  the tricycle driver recommended the resort and the way he phrased it is that we dont have any other options.  We gave in,  as we were too tired from the travel.

I forgot how much we paid for.  The resort is clean,  same with the rooms.  Running water,  clean bathroom and proper ventillation.  The beach front is clean and guests are free to frolic around the not-so-fine sands of Bantayan.  There are also chairs for guests who prefer reading a book while listening to the quiet hum of the wind

What's not cool about this resort is that they charge php 5.00 for a teeny tiny cup of hot water.   Imagine my dismay when i found out that we had to pay extra for hot water.  I think it is a con move,  as guests of the resort we should be entitled for free hot water,  right?  And you have to travel x number of kms to reach the nearest restaurant.

I hope that is not the case now. Who knows, maybe they charge php 10 for hot water now. We have to consider inflation, folks. 128522

Pam: tents can be set up in front of the beach, with the owner's kind permission.
