For about four years ago, my hubby and I used lived in Sampaloc Manila, so it's why I am very familiar with Dapitan Street.
For many people who didn't know, this is where you'll find the famous Tinapayan Bakery in the said street. Their property shows progress as their business grows rapidly. Laging may bago.
Hubby and I are fond of buying drinks and Bread Loaf from here. Medyo mahal compared sa iba pero masarap naman specially yung Cheese Loaf nila. I think around P150/pack.
I'm sure if you are familiar dito, taga UST ka or resident nearby.
Nowadays, ang daming mga bagong tayo na establishments and papalit palit din madalas. Ang Tinapayan, isa lang sila sa matibay na nananatiling matibay ang takbo ng business.
Actually, may stall na sila sa Fisher Mall, years ago na.
And then just maybe one to two years ago, they put up this Bean Belt Coffee, sa 2nd Floor ng Tinapayan Bakery. A staff has told me, anak ng may ari ang nagtayo nito.
I never did try it eversince, until last week that I am hungry na,late lunch and sarado yung fave Canteen ko pang lunch while may work kami nearby and so ito lang ang pinaka malapit walking distance, super init din sa labas it also started to rain, may kasama pa kong bata.
When I went upstairs, Nagulat ako how nice it is inside. May music playing but it is really quiet and very much conducive for students to study. Ang daming tables and Sofas pero hindi masikip. I am surprised na sa sobrang ingay ng dapitan, you wouldn't hear a single honk! Wooden ang interiors pati walls, may pagka vintage & everything is very well arranged and most importantly malinis.
I actually felt na wala akong maoorder because puro coffee and sandwiches ang meron sila.
But then I'm lucky may rice Meals pala. I ordered this Longganisa with Fried Rice and Egg, Php200. I've no choice ayoko nang lumipat. Para matry ko na din
Finally, when the plate arrives, nabigyan ng justice ang price! The serving plate is highly instagrammable! The verdict, it's good! Konting dry lang ang Longganisa.
Also on the Menu is different Pasta costs around P260 and up. Hindi pang student ang price pero they are certainly worth a cup of coffee kung maghapon ang stay ng bawat isa. P160 each cup. Malamig ang A/C and refillable water is Free!
Everyone on their table is seriously reviewing. So as soon as I'm done eating, I left na with my niece na sobra likot.

This coffee shop is so near from my place, if I was a student, I'd come here everyday. The ambience of the whole place is so nice! Good ventilation, and they got power outlets.
I got a café latte that time and this penne pasta. All was good! ️ They offer frappes too and sandwiches. They don't serve tea. Still got to go at Simple Line at Dapitan for it.
